View Full Version : Antral follicle count U/S results?

I got my scan done today, my Dr asked me to get it at the end of my period so I was day 7. Not sure when its normally done but thats what he asked me to do. They counted 17 follicles on my right with 5+ of them being 8mm and larger, and I had 12 follicles on my left with 3+ being 8mm and larger. my uterine lining was around 4mm she said, I am worried about that, is it too thin? she didnt seem concerned and said after a period it is normally like that. Also she didnt find any polyps, fibroids or scar tissue which was good.

Can anyone tell me if these are good or bad numbers?

That's not normally when we do it but your numbers are so strong, it doesn't matter. That is a high AFC. The lining is thin but it has plenty of time to thicken. You should respond well.

That is an EXCELLENT AFC! You're only on CD7 so your lining still has lots of time to thicken. GL!
