Hello all,
I have been lurking a bit and wanted to introduce myself. We recently had our first baby - a perfect little boy who is now almost 5 months old. Despite the fact that I have had baby boy dreams for YEARS - well before I ever was ready to be pregnant - I was hurting for a little girl. My pregnancy was a little difficult and the gender disappointment hit me hard throughout the pregnancy and in the postpartum period. I love my little boy, he is pretty laid back, smiley, and a great sleeper (hehe) but it still hurts a little when I have to walk to racks of dresses to get to the small section of boy clothes in the back of a store. Like many of you, it waxes and wanes, but is still present.
I am hoping my experience will help support others :)
