Hi all

I am 14 weeks pregnant with Baby number 6, i already had 3 children when i met my current partner, 2 girls an 1 boy, we went on to have 2 gorgeous girls.

we are longing for a baby boy, we were really dissapointed when we found out our youngest was a girl and most peoples reactions where "oh"
"never mind" "maybe next time" this made me really sad.

we have decided not to tell anyone about this pregnancy until we know what baby is, just because i know we will get the pressure of oh i bet you want a boy etc

im not even sure why i am writing this i just cannot stop thinking about a little boy x

I"m sorry. :( People's comments take a situation that we could probably deal with, and turn it into something that feels way, way worse.

I will send you all the blue dust I have!

I couldn't agree more with atomic, its comments from other people that make gender desire so much more difficult which I found out during my last pregnancy. Please take all my blue dust. I am in a similar position as you but I only have the one girl and long for another (currently pregnant with ds4) I will try again for another dd in a couple of years. Good luck to you. When will you find out gender?

Welcome. I'm 13w with #4 and very much hope we'll have a daughter. The comments from other people were hard enough last time (we found out he was another boy but didn't tell anyone), let alone now with three sons. We're also staying quiet about this pregnancy and only telling people we see in person.

hi all

thank you for your replies, i have found this pregnancy alot easier with no one knowing and if we do find out we are having another girl we can get used to the idea ourselves before anyone else knows

we find out on 5th December at 3.45pm, the sonographer did take an educated guess at boy at out 13+4 scan but i dont want to get my hopes up

xx
