Me again .
Going to start with some questions if anyone can give me advice.
DH takes aspirin for medical reasons is this ok? He doesn't want to take any supps, he is 42 so not going to make him abstain just going to do one attempt day before o.
When should i start folic acid if im going to try first attempt march to get preg.
And probably most importantly i should start LE diet soon yeah ??
Looking back when i conceived my boys i can see from what ive read my body was very boy friendly... But just wanted to get pregnant as i was trying for over a year with the last 2 DS ...
Going to gyno next month and going to beg for clomid...

Any advice is greatly appreciated
Have a nice day ladies

I'll let Atomic give you advice on supps/meds but for diet, best results are at least 12 weeks on diet. If you're not trying until March, I wouldn't do LE strictly yet so maybe just go vegetarian for now. You could also start skipping breakfast and stop snacking now if you'd like as it does take some getting used to. I started skipping breakfast nearly a year before we began TTC!

Hi and welcome Faith.

DH on aspirin is fine and may even help. :agree: no abstain for him.

I'd start folic at least 3 months in advance. Same with diet.

I agree with KS that you may want to go vegetarian now (or mostly) and then hold off starting full LE till after the holidays.

Re begging for Clomid - I do want to let you know that sometimes doctors don't respond well to requests for Clomid. You are better off not mentioning "the C word" and just tell them that either you've been trying to conceive for more than 6 months aand are not getting pregnant, and due to your hubby being 42 you are kind of in a hurry, and can they do anything to help?? OR that your cycles are really long and you're only getting AF once every 2 or 3 months, and again you are wanting to get pregnant more quickly because of your husband's age and don't have time to wait around and can they help. Usually they'll just give you the Clomid. If they won't, that's ok, you're no worse off than you were before. If they want to do blood tests, say thanks and then don't show up to do the test. If they ask (which they prob. won't) then just say something came up and you guys decided to postpone.

Forgot to ask before... I have low iron , should i go on supps for iron now for aleast 5 weeks before i start LEdiet Bcos im going to go vegie this could make my iron worst.
Dont really want to go on any multivitamins bcos when i was ttc last2 pregnancy i was on multivitamins for atleast 8 mths with both and ive read they sway blue

Yes I would def. take iron 18-60 mg daily for the next month (or more) and then switch to 3x a week maintenance dose. Don't worry how this affects your sway, i have lots of successful swayers who did this.
