After two pregnancies plagued with 20 weeks of HG starting with nausea at 5 weeks here I am at 6+2 with no nausea or sickness. I was ill once last week but in hindsight I think it was something I ate. I'm tired but not any more than usual, having a good bit of AF type cramping and my bbs are only the barest bit achy. At this point on DS2 I was getting IV fluids for dehydration! I don't care about gender at this point, this is not a post asking about different symptoms resulting in different genders, I am a little worried all is not right. I have an early scan booked for the 21st, I will be 7+4 and it feels so far away. So basically I'm hoping for some reassuring stories that others have had debilitating sickness on some pregnancies but have breezed through others - it really sounds like I will never be happy but I am just hating the anxiety I am feeling right now. Every niggly twinge I get I am just waiting for AF to start. I did a CB weeks indicator today just to be sure it read 3+ as a friend of mine said for it to read 3+ your hcg must be at a certain level. It did read 3+. And I am still not satisfied :(

Yes I have had terrible sickness (not HG levels but still) with 3, and little to no sickness (and it started later) with two others. I have also heard from some people who didn't have HG after 1-2 pregnancies so that can happen too. I felt like I got much better at managing it too, so with my 1st child I was yacking all the time but by my 4th, who I was also quite sick with, I just knew how to deal with it so I wasn't ever so bad off like I was the first time.

FWIW I understand why you are worried and of course anythign I say can't be a guarantee, but as a general rule there will be time enough to worry when/if you have a reason to. ((((hugs)))) and sending sticky dust.

Me ! We r in the same boat hopper. I had terrible MS with both my first 2 pregnancies starting at 6 weeks and going well into 2nd trimester. No medication was helping. This time i have absolutely none. If it werent for my baby bump i wouldnt have known i was pregnant. I even bought a doppler to reassure myself since my OB wasnt going to see me after the dating scan till the 16th week and the lack of symptoms was driving me crazy

Me too :). I had HG with DS1, DS2 was pretty severe too. DS3 I was pretty much fine - I think I was sick once! This one is the same. I have been sick once but hardly any nausea or anything. It's OK. Every pregnancy is different. I understand your worry though but try and enjoy it xx.

Sorry you're feeling anxious Hopper! I'll tell you what someone once told me: different baby=different pregnancy=different symptoms. With DS1 I kept waiting for morning sickness to start (and when it did, I regretted wishing for it lol) but with DS2, I swear it started even before I found out I was pregnant at 3.5 weeks! I hope your scan goes well and I'll be keeping an eye out for your next update. Relax and please try not to stress out too much. Hugs mama!

Sorry you are feeling this way hopper. I have no advice but what the other ladies have said sounds very reassuring. Know I am thinking of you and sending lots of positive vibes your way [emoji4]

Thank you all so very much for the reassurance. Its much appreciated, truly it is. Your words have definitely helped me relax a little bit about it. After posting this I have experienced slight nausea every little while, typical lol. I'll definitely relax more once I see that heartbeat. One week to go! A girl on a mom group I'm in on FB decided to tell me I'm being too optimistic having my scan next week at 7+4 as she had her mc at 7+5. Trying not to let others stories affect me - and shall be avoiding FB til I'm like 12 weeks lol!!
I am actually seeing my GP shortly as I suspect I may have a UTI (I only get them when I'm pg so taking my suspiscion as a good sign lol) I'll put up with anything once bubs is safe and healthy - such a worrier!!

Some people just like to poop on everybody's party. There's a reason they say "misery loves company".

Good luck and I hope to hear your happy update soon.

Thanks Atomic! I actually was sent to the maternity unit for an early scan to make sure the pain I have been having is all UTI related so I got to see my little pea with heart beating and all. Absolutely delighted and a lot more at ease - also all day nausea has hit so just reminds me to be careful what I wish for 😂
