This maybe a daft question but I am low in iron ATM , I don't think the vegetarian diet is helping either but I am iron tablets and I'm just wondering does anaemia away ? I'm guessing the iron tablets away blue but I have to take them no choice in that and I'm now thinking maybe postponing our first attempt xx

If I remember correctly, atomic told me that no, anemia doesn't sway either way, and that because anemia can cause problems getting pregnant and miscarriages if you do conceive, that it's imperative you take the iron if you're anemic anyways. I was on it every day for 6 weeks, then dropped to three times a week during my attempts. I'm still anemic now by the numbers, but much better than it was. If your sway is strong in all other ways, I wouldn't postpone because of the iron supplement as its not any sort of magic bullet for boys.

I don't think it sways either way but low iron can cause a decrease in egg quality so take the iron. I was extremely iron deficient when I got pregnant last and it ended in a miscarriage. Not sure if it was related but I've been on iron daily since then.

Taking supplemental iron when you need to does not appear to affect sways negatively and you MUST take them if you need them!!
Be sure you're getting some Vit. C when you take the iron (like a small glass of juice, doen'st nee to be a lot)
WE honestly do not know if it sways or not. The thing is that if you're low in iron it makes it harder to get and stay pregnant so you need to take htem.

Thanks atomic . I feel dreadful so I wouldn't stop taking it weather it swayed or not but I was curious weather to postpone first attempt until iron levels at a healthy range x

Yes it really makes you feel quite poorly to be anemic! Feel better soon!!
