I found out after my ultrasound at 16 weeks that I have complete placenta previa. My doctor said that it could move and not to worry, yet everywhere I look online says that partial and marginal previas usually move, but complete previas rarely move. I was wondering if there are any ladies on here who were diagnosed with complete placenta previa early on and their placenta moved? Those who did not have theirs move, what was the outcome? Did you bleed? How far along did you make it to? Did you have any complications with your c-section? I'm going crazy with worry...it'd probably help if I stopped googling :)

Yes they usually don't if they're complete. I had a partial and even though it didn't totally move enough they let me do a trial labor and I did start to hemmorhage at about 6 cm but the baby's head came down and kept pressure on it, then I usually go pretty fast after that so I was able to push him out soon enough after so I didn't have to have a c-section.

Oh you just reminded me that I have a partial this time. I had nearly forgotten lol. I've had no bleeding or anything yet. A good friend had a complete and had a c section at 39 weeks with no complications. I think planned c sections are a lot more calm and easier to recover from than emergency one. Also remember that when you google all the worst stuff is going to pop up. Not many people write about their uneventful stories :). Big hugs xx This is why we have ultrasound. So they can pick this stuff up and monitor it so that the best choices can be made. FXed for a placenta moving miracle xx

:agree: about the C-sections, planned ones are usually much better prepared for and they can even do an ultrasound to let them place the incision in the best spot. FX that it isn't necessary tho.
