Hi ladies i just have 1 question about olive leaf extract, my partner has agreed to take a capsule only along with liquorice root, he refuses oil he things he will gag on it. I live in australia and found one that is a 1 capsule a day containing 3.5g (3,500mg) is that too much for a daily dose or is that two little?
Thank you in advance :)

That's too high. Maybe he can take one every other day, if you absolutely can't find anything else?

Hi I am also in Oz, my husband took the high strength ones, 3000 (along with licorice root also) although atomic did say it was probably too high a dose. I figured they would be OK as the bottle says it's a one a day formula. Haven't found out if my sway has worked yet though [emoji4]

Is the olive leaf really meant to help improve DH's sperm quality? Maybe I should've got my DH taking it but might be too late now as our attempt is in maybe 14 days time? Mamacas - good luck on your girl sway attempt. I hope you hear pink. :)

I believe OLE is used instead of cranberry, and with the HT ladies is ?giving better gender splits with more XX being produced?

Ok so dh is taking
Calcium
Magnesium (he needs this regardless swaying he suffers horrible cramps and these do help him)
Liquorice root 3×450mg a day
OLE ×1 per day
Vitamin C × 1 500mg (another thing he takes religiously regardless swaying)
Folic acid
Im taking
3× 250 mg calcium tablets
Magnesium same as dh i get calve muscle cramps
Vitamin C
Folic acid 1500
Cranberry
Peppermint tea 2-4 a day
I drink coffee relugiously
Our bd plan is to go once every 4 days with hopefully only 1 attempt in the fertile window the day after positive opk
I have no idea what foods to eat on the low everything diet because right now i cant financially spend any money Incase i do need medical intervention to pass the rest of this pregnancy.
So im stuck with the diet but im going to try and stick to my morning coffee no breakfast
Light yogurt as a snack
And thats all iv got so far because i dont know the foods :(
Anyway hopefully trying to catch the first egg in a few weeks
Is it true your more fertil after a misscarriage

Hi PrettyPink. I think it's recommended for girl sway to have one attempt on the day you get your first pos OPK. You can either do just this one attempt or as well as BD every 4 days. I'm not sure of the LE diet either sorry. Good luck for your attempt.

Every 4 days should be fine if you don't want to mess around with opks, it will mean you get one attempt in the fertile period with stressing yourself out. Sorry about your loss. I hope you get a bfp soon.

The Australian doses on supplements are different and I have never been able to get a straight answer as to why. But unfortunately with the OLE I suspect the high doses are meant to be high for short term use as an antibiotic. Some people have ordered from overseas to get lower doses and others have given it 3x a week instead.

Yes, it's the only thing we know of that is supposed to both help with sperm quality and sway pink. We don't really know why it is supposed to sway, a doctor claimed that it might, and we got ok results with it, but I am not yet sold on it. Thus far most of the people I have had use it had some issues with sperm health or quality and these things may sway pink anyway.

Yes although in the thread they were tracking it, it really did seem about 50-50. If anything, we're having better results with it for swaying despite the original claim that it was for better gender splits with HT.

:agree: you're doing great!
I was flat broke when I was swaying for my DD and I had no trouble on LE Diet. I just ate mostly what my family did but just skipped the meat. Bagels, rice, tacos with beans, hummus and crackers, peanut butter sandwich, cheese sandwich, etc. I did eat yogurt too

There are three tactics we are using a lot right now.
1 attempt at postive OPK
OR
every 4 days
OR
every 4 days PLUS one attempt at pos OPK.
Different people are using different methods and a lot of ladies coming off a loss are finding e4d to be easiest and less stressful. :agree:

Thank you atomic
I can easily switch to 3 times a week for dh and his OLE monday wednesday friday too easy that means hes getting whats recommended :)
Iv decided to cut my high strength cranberry tablets in half
After my excessive usage last cycle you know i cant helo but blame myself :( i think its just natural.
Also would me changing to a vegetarian now with possible O being 3-4 weeks away make a difference for my sway or does it need to be longer thanks :)

It's always good to go vegetarian with the exception of people with mod. to severe PCOS. A vegetarian diet can sometimes be too carby for them
