Hello ~

I had my first positive opk on Thursday morning and I am also using the clear blue easy monitor which on Thursday and Friday it said Peak. My temp this morning gave me a thermal increase showing me that I ovulated. However I took a cheapie opk and it still looks positive.The CBEM stick looked Peak again but after putting in the monitor it read medium.... so... did I ovulate?? Ugh.... We are DTD today at some point. Do you think we need to do it tomorrow too?

Also, we are swaying girl and so sorry if this is TMI, but after dtd last night I tested the ph of the stuff that came out and it was 8!!! Yikes!!! Is that bad? :(

I would DTD tomorrow as well just to be on the safe side.

pH of 8 isn't great, but if it had already come out, air can make pH increase, as can coming into contact with detergents and stuff on clothes/sheets. It's not indicative of what's going on up inside.

I'd say you probably did OV already - it's common to OV just after the peak but whilst LH is still high

Rainbow - that is super useful info! Last cycle I've had 3 days of +OPK which is usually not the case but I could swear I Oed the day of 2nd +OPK. I'm not temping, sounds as too much commitment lol! although I probably should start :think:

Do you think it's possible then I've Oed the day of 2nd +OPK and the 3rd day was just LSH left overs? Line was fainter then previous 3 days.

Happyheart _ as far as I know, temping is the most reliable, which means you did O.

I just don't get it! I have been so great on the diet and I have tested DH this week and he was in the 7's.... I got the stuff as it was coming out (sorry if tmi)... gosh... I am not feeling good about this.

zivic - normally if you have multiple days of +OPKs you will OV on the last day of them, but of course if you had a fast peak on the day of the 1st OPK and the hormone was just slow to drop you could have OVed on the 2nd one. Temping is the only way to know for certain unless you obsessively check your cervix and CM

I also use the CBEFM and Im sure we on on the second peak day so you O'd on Friday. You can DTD the next day too but there is no use to it 2 days after.

Anyway hope you get a pink bfp!

I strongly suspect that it reacted with the air and went up because of that. I wouldn't worry about it.

You know, this could be partly why my DH's was so high. This is probably TMI (even for me!) but the first time I tested it was on my arm and the second time it was on DH's skin - and both times there was a minute or two while it occured to me to test it and got a strip out to do it!

I wondered that Zana. It was still prob. on the high side though or otherwise it would have risen to 8 and not 8 million. ;)

Are there two increases in temp?? The first day my temp went up from 96.9 to 97.5 which is a normal rise for me to show me ovulation. But then today it went up to 99.0.... ???

I was about sure that I had ovulated already! Could this be the clomid or the fact that I was up sick last night?

ETA: I did get a negative opk yesterday afternoon....

Prob. because you were up in the night, but Clomid does do some weird stuff!!
