Recently (not sure how recently!) I'm always freezing! When DH came to bed one night this week he found me wearing PJs, socks, dressing gown, 3 duvets and a quilt - and I'd woken up and put together that little ensemble because I was so cold! He thinks it's because I've lost so much weight but I still have plenty of fat on me which should keep me warm! Some of the other girls ttc a girl were saying they're always cold too and I wondered whether there was an obvious reason?

TY!

hey Z! - no clue why but that' was always me. I can't be without socks I have to bring a sweater to store , need big blankets ect ect. But now that I put on weight ( umm I fat now) I feel hot and have to kick the blanket off at night and so on. ( still need the sock Im to use to it I guess)
So lets hope we do thing good here!

I agree that losing weight would do that. I am always colder after I've lost weight, until my body adjusts.

No, I think it's the weight loss too.

I agree with the others. :) It's the weight loss. I only lost 11 lbs and am feeling more cold these days! :)

I agree with weight loss. I was feeling the same way until the last few days. Hot pregnant thing going on.

weight loss is a huge factor for temps, but i was also wondering, would the low blood sugar needed for TTC a girl have anything to do with it?

Maybe being pregnant with a pink bean makes you cold!!!!!!

Just saw this thread now. I'm someone who never used to be cold when others complained about it...and now I'm freezing all the time. I think it's definitely the weight loss for me - I don't have any body fat anymore!

could it be anything else? maybe hormones? my friend is always cold and she isnt thin at all(more chubby side) but she is cold all the time, she wears sweaters in the store, in the car, in the house, she is always freezing and its hot here tx, we are having 104 weather today and it was hotter earlier this summer and she was wearing pants!

If I had to make a guess, I would guess it was hormones - because I'm not thin, I have plenty of fat on me :D

I'm pregnant and cold. I feel the cold normally and people think I'm strange because I'm always cold! I am medium to slim build. When i was pregant with the boys I was really hot though so this is weird for me. I hope it means a girl in there!

Hmm, I'm pregnant and cold too! I used to be pretty warm blooded. Maybe its hormone change due to weight loss?

I'm not cold now I'm pregnant - in fact last night I had to kick the covers off altogether!

Hmmm...interesting!! If there is anything to the higher/lower prog/estrogen and temps idea, maybe it is hormonal.

One other option which is unlikely but you might want to keep in the back of your mind is thyroid issues.

I was wondering about lack of fuel - ie. not eating very much irrespective of weight loss.

No smart answer for you but I was always cold and I have 3 girls. I literally used to grab a jacket if it dropped below 82!

Zanacal many congratulations on your pregnancy. Excellent sway by the way.

Feeling cold may have been down to the asprin/cranberry. Both thin the blood which will result in you feeling colder.
