I hope someone can enlighten me.I actually thought I was pregnant and took a few tests and they all showed up as negative.I noticed EWCM and thought that was strange just before my period,so I did an ovulation test and it came up positive.Wouldyou defintley say this is positive?29792

Are you sure it IS your period? Did you do a pregnancy test too?

Looks positive to me. Have you already O'd this month?

I think it is possible to get an LH surge just before your period.

If the hpts are negative then that is probably what it is.

Yeah I normally get my period any day from the 8th to the 12th and haven't got it yet.I have done a few pregnancy test and one yesterday and still negative.I just find it weird as I used to ovulate on day 16 on my cycle and this would be day 33

It is not unusual to get a rush of EWCM before O and also not unusual that you get a pos OPK for no real reason right before period.

But, you may have delayed O in which case always better to BD! Keep us posted on outcome.

I often get +opks a day or so before my period. It's why I definitely don't trust using opks as hpts! It's happened on multiple occasions! And when I actually got a BFP with DS2 my opk never went positive, even days after my BFP!

I'm sorry, I don't see anything.

Lots of women get dark or positive OPKs right before AF. There is often an LH surge around then.

I'm not seeing a line but then again I'm on laptop

I tested once more and another negative pregnancy test.I tested my OPK again and now negative with still no period.I got them on the 8th of last month and still no period.Maybe I have missed it this month or it's coming later? So confused with my body right now.I used to be down to a T with everything :-(

If your ovulation is delayed, then your period would also be delayed.

That makes a lot of sense! I feel better now :-)

A lot of people think period will show up when due but nope, it's tacked on 14 days after whenever O was (or so)

it will be interesting too see if my periods do come after the 14 days, and if not does that mean perhaps pregnancy? I will just what the month entails anyway :-)

It can still mean pregnancy between then and now though Jensy because let's say you O and conceived but it was a week later than you expected (assuming you're still DTD) then you could very well be pregnant just not registering on test yet.

So my periods came today..this has me more confused lol.We dtd on the 10th when I experienced the positive ovulation.Maybe it was just a LH surge before periods? I think as soon it's finished I might just dtd every four days.

Give me cycle days what happened when. It's really hard for me to visualize what you're talking about

Ok, I normally get my periods on the 13th of each month and they last 5 days(this was like this for a few months post breastfeeding)
January:I got it on the 8th-13th(couldn't determine a positive ovulation)
February:18th(today) and dtd on the 10th when I was showing up as positive for ovulation.

I think you may be getting a little confused because you're using the days of the month instead of cycle days. Your body doens't know what day it is on the calendar and your cycle should last about 28 days (anwhere from 21-35 days totally normal) YOu shouldn't expect that your period would come the same day every month, because the months have different days in them.

Lets say LP was a little short in Jan and period came early. And/or then O was a little delayed in Feb. This is all in normal range and I can't tell you waht is really happening without bloodwork, ultrasound, etc. For all we know your LP was still 14 days in Feb and the 10th had a false ovulation.

if you aren't already then you should add in the 1 serv full fat dairy, 4-6 eggs a week, and one serv. salmon or red meat a week in case you have short LP.

Ok as long as it all sounds normal then I'm not worried :-) I know it sounds weird but every month I could put my money on getting my periods on the same day of the month.I have been eating Mayo on chicken every day and lots of eggs, salmon, nuts(few)in the week.I eat my macros of 50-60g protein and 40-50g of fat with an average of 9-13g saturated fats a day.I will give it some time and stop obsessing over it,I'm in no rush really but have noticed all these changes happening that I have never experienced before :-)

Oh I'm not saying it's impossible (and in fact I've had some times in my life where it would often show up on the 1st for some reason), just that usually when people are saying that, they are confusing themselves and thinking it HAS to be that way when it doesn't.

I feel like vitex makes strange cycles worse and thus I'd stay off
