Hi Everyone,
I have three boys and really want to have a baby girl. This is my last shot. I have been on a girl diet for seven weeks and planning to try in another week and half. My ph level has been a 5.5 and it wouldn't drop down. I have tried replens and rephresh. Not able to get Sylk nor aci jel here in Canada.
I am planning to test out a lime douche and hopefully that will decrease my ph. I have also been taking supplements between af to o. I also drink cranberry juice and just starting drinking cokk without caffeine to lower my ph level but that hasn't helped either. Not quite sure what to do?

Don't drink cranberry juice, it can sway blue. Ph doesn't matter, I wouldn't worry about it and I definitely wouldn't lime douche. Are you doing exercise? 12+ weeks on diet, daily cardio exercise for an hour minimum and one attempt are getting the best results.

I hope you're not drinking juice/regular soda between meals, that is considered snacking snd sways blue.

Thanks for your reply. I usually exercise for about 45 mins a day. I only drink with my meals and nothing in between but I may have some water and that's it.
I will stop drinking cranberry juice from here on . I hope I haven't messed up my girl sway. So worried now.

Exercising for less than an hour can sway blue. I'd definitely up that to 60 minutes, MINIMUM. Better to go over than under at all.

I think once you tighten up on the diet and exercise you'll have a strong sway! Your efforts so far will still sway, they're not wasted. You'll just be improving your odds of pink even more.

Most people have stopped using jellies as they seem to just hinder conception and don't sway very much. And douching has been discouraged for a while now. For the past two years, the most successful sway techniques have been:

* LE diet for at least 12 weeks
* 1 attempt in fertile window (either by BD every 4 days OR BD once at +opk)
* clomid if you can get it
* 60+ minutes of cardio a day OR couch potato
* alcohol and coffee daily for DW
* olive leaf extract daily for DH

Pretty much everything else has been dropped - - jellies, antihistamines, vitax, saw palmetto, cranberry/aspirin, licorice root, aspartame, jump and dump, frequency and PH stuff, etc.

Good luck!

Hi and welcome sapphire.

pH testing was so unreliable for us that virtually all of us have given it up. I got my 4th boy with pH of 4.5 so I wouldn't take that number with any level of seriousness whatsoever.

I'm not a fan of douching for a variety of reasons but I do have the directions here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-a-girl-best-practices/866-guide-douching-ttc-pink.html?866-Guide-to-Douching-TTC-Pink= I understand that sometimes people do want to try things that I personaly don't believe in and I want you to do it SAFELY.

The jellies have seemed to be totally neutral, not helping nor harming a sway. THey do cut odds of conception.

Can you please tell me what supplements you're taking from AF-O?? Some of the other sites tell people to do this in ways that are not safe.

Cranberry juice doesn't work for a pink sway. IT's not concentrated enough to actually help a sway, you'd need cran supps for that (although cranberry supps have also been neutral, not seeming to sway for us one bit anyway) and the juice has nutrients that may even sway blue.

Caffeine has been totally debunked as a sway tactic and in fact coffee is getting us girls about 80% of the time lately.

You may want to read this thread, it's the scientific case against pH and swaying. It really doesn't add up and most of us on here have 1-2-3 pH opposites http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html
