I'll be 32 weeks pregnant on April fools day and was thinking of finally announcing my pregnancy on Facebook to the rest of the family/friends then .I know they will all think it is a joke, but I really think it would be funny to announce a true pregnancy on that day. Has anyone else done this? I plan on just keeping it light hearted that day and not really letting on to whether or not it is true and then posting the next day my real announcement. I'm also thinking that maybe I'll say I'm having twins so there is a true April Fool in the announcement and then "admitting" the next day that it was an april fool "I'm not pregnant with twins, but I am expecting ONE little bundle." Or something like that...I don't know. I just really really want to announce it on April Fools day for some reason :)

I think it's fun but I know on April fools I see many fb posts about posting fake baby announcement on that day. I know yours is real but you won't be letting on for that day.

I haven't announced and don't plan to till baby is safe at home in my arms - but you see lots of people put posts on FB saying that it's insensitive to joke about pregnancy when there are people who are struggling with fertility or baby loss. I don't know if that's them being over-sensitive or not, but I just thought of it when I read your post.....

I didn't know you were pregnant! Congrats on your successful sway! I think your announcement idea sounds fun, plus I imagine those who know you would get your sense of humour.

Yes I did accidentally without realizing it to my mother in law. :p We had a good laugh about it because I honestly didn't realize that it even WAS AFD. She was like "I was sure you were going to say it was another boy" and I was like I'd never joke about that!!! hahaha

I've announced more than one 5-7 months. I like doing it that way, it's kinda fun. You guys may remember the other KDG from IG one time she did that as well with her last baby. She was like "I ate too much shrimp" and posted this huge belly pic.
