We went in for our 20 weeks and didn't find out gender but had the tech put the shots in an envelope so I could look later since my hubby didn't want to know. I couldn't make out anything from the shots and no one on here can either. Bummer. I had an appt yesterday and took the shot with me to ask the tech what I was looking at and she showed me and said girl but was very squished as she was sitting on her legs so these are pics from back side. I said that's confusing where are the legs she dad no legs just the inside. She said there isn't always three lines and that there are not any boy parts so was positive it was a girl. I circled and put an arrow to the area she said showed girl. Does anyone else see it?? I am in complete shock and was positive this was going to be my boy. I think I'm
Going to go for an elective 3D to find out forsure. Any responses greatly appreciated!!

Well maybe you should get a second opinion. I will tell you, all of my boys were very obvious they were boys between 13-14w. I mean clear scrotum and penis. There was no guessing. At 16-22 weeks, their penis and scrotum could not be hidden anywhere and certainly did not look like any of your pics.

I hope you have a boy, but I think you should be prepared to hear pink.

I can't really make out what is going on in the pic but if the tech was confidant of girl, that is likely what baby is. I agree with XXforhubby - both my boys were also very obvious by 13 weeks and there was no hiding the penis and scrotum at any of the later scans. Good luck to you! Do you already have 1 or more girls?

Yes I have two girls. I was hoping maybe maybe parts were hiding my since baby had legs crossed and was squished. I will be happy either way ofcourse just a but disappointed. Thanks for the post!

Don't worry, I totally understand! I was the opposite of you at my ultrasounds. I kept wishing I *wouldn't* see those parts!!

I can't really tell in that pic what I'm looking at and think it's a horrible view to determine gender from. I'd get another opinion because the confusion over the images would drive me batty. Like others have said, my boys were very obvious early as well. I always have a scan in the mid 11-week range and my boys have already had the "party hat" looking cone nub angled nearly straight up. Not the slightest hint of ambiguity and clearly a penis.

I got a 60% girl guess at my 20 week scan - baby was sooooo wriggly! - and 3 days later had it confirmed at a private scan. I couldn't wait!

Crazy how my three year old keeps asking about her brother on my tummy and I told her I think your getting another sister and she says no it's a boy!! Ugh.... Hope it doesn't bother her too much when she really finds out...

Any chance boy bits can hid at 20 weeks? Her shots are so confusing and she had to look at the shot she took a few times to show me what I was looking out to make out gender. Just hopeful thinking I guess...

My friend was told girl at 20 weeks and then two weeks later was a boy. Her tech wasn't confident in the first guess though and I am not sure how experienced he/she was. I was told boy at my 12 week scan pretty confidently though. I did a gender scan to be sure though, and it made me feel better knowing @for sure"..as I had my mind set in a girl. Good luck!

Thanks Linds333! The tech I had supposedly has only been wrong 4/5 times in the last 12 years so sounds like she prolly right. I think I will just go with it and see what happens on delivery day. Sure would be a surprise it a boy came out haha!

I will tell you, this is my 3rd boy and where his brothers were very obvious at 20 weeks, this little guy was hiding his bat and balls completely at my anatomy scan. She tried to get a shot but kept saying "he's really hiding"
We know it's a boy from the Harmony test. Good luck!

Ds1 & ds3 were very obvious at 20 weeks but ds2 kept us guessing. We didn't want to be team green but were forced to be as he was totally hiding everything & at that time we lived a long way away from where elective gender scans were done & they were expensive then too. Always possible if no gender has been confirmed.

I hope u get what ur hoping for but i have the same situation as urs. Didnt see the sonogram but went home with a picture that has no gender clues wven though its a potty shot. But i am still taking the techs word for "its a girl" because live sonogram is different that a pic in time. Sometimes they are able to see well enough but its not always possible to capture in a picture.

Thanks!! Due June 26th! I have an appt tomrw so may see if they will give me another gender shot just not tell me boy or girl. Just hope if I get one its more clear. I am so back and forth just know I won't get an elective so depends on what they say tomrw!

Did the tech say its a girl for u or she could not commit ? If she couldnt commit then u have a 50/50 chance here. Good luck for tomorrow !

I took the pic to the next appt I had and she was there so I asked what I was looking at which she pointed out. I still didn't see what she was talking about and she said it's a girl cuz no boy bits. It's most likely a girl but I just can't seem to believe cuz of the pics and the way she had to look at the U/S pic to tell me what I was looking at. Like she almost had to figure it out haha! Plus had a strong feeling boy but that just could be me wishing!

Did u sway ? I am expecting DD3 as well (failed sway). I know its hard at first but know u gave it ur best, that is all we can do.
This is our last so that is the hardest part to deal with not ever having to get a son. But thats life ....

I didn't really sway just tracked ovulation and best time for a boy and gender calendar which I know is 50/50. I forsure thought I was having a boy and a bit disappointed but I was ready for it. This is most likely out last one too so am just happy baby is healthy!
