Hi

Does anyone know how long before ttc pink DH should take OLE? im consiering this as a supp for DH as i see the results are good and he's not taking anything. We are a few months away from ttc. Should we even bother?! Anyone else's DH taking?

Thanks

Yes, go ahead and start now. A few months out from TTC is plenty of time! My DH is on it.

Hi Essnce

Thanks for reply. Its expensive here. Does it matter the age of my DH (38)? And do we know how it helps sway pink?

I would get him to take it. Can you order it somewhere else online that is cheaper?

Have you looked at this thread from the HT section?

I'm not sure if you have access to it if you are not a dream member but it is interesting seeing more XX embryos for those doing HT (high tech = ivf with pgd to select gender)

Hi Purple

Thanks for the link - unfortunately i do not have access to it. I will try searching and reading up some more. Im worried that my DH is taking nothing when he could be taking something already - he is totally fine with taking supps but i dont want him to take for the sake of it or because he is fine with taking. I want to be sure it is actually contributing to something. I know it does no harm, the OLE, in taking - but it is pricey so i just want to be sure. Ill do some more research x

I am not totally sold on OLE. I know the stats look good for swaying but please understand that our stats are not a scientific study, and two different groups of people are using the OLE vs. not using it. I give OLE to older men or those on certian medications or with poor sperm health and NOT the general population. I have reason to believe those men may be coming into swaying more "set" for pink than the general population to begin with and thus I am not fully sold that the OLE is really as good as it appears.

The only reason why we ever started to investigate OLE is because a doctor was on here for a while in the early days of the site and claimed to get good results with gender splits with IVF pregnancies (more XX than XY). I have seen many people take it for that purpose and to me it seems about 50-50 and while some people did seem to see improvements on it, others didn't, and it all seems well within the range of luck to my eye. But it doesn't seem to sway blue, so I started using it for swaying among those who can't do cranberry. That's all. No stronger info or scientific support than that.
