4 Years Ago....

HI!

It's been 4 years since I was last active on this site. 4 Years. 4. Long YEARS!!!!! 4 years to recover and learn to treat my body healthy.

4 years ago I did an IVF PGD for twin boys. Our dream boys. It ended horribly! My body went on with the pregnancy for 4 agonizing months as I watched my boys deteriorate from blighted ovums but my placenta went on with the pregnancy like nothing was wrong. It continued to grow and pump out hormones. I finally had a D & C at 4.5 months as I was going toxic. It took another 4 months for my system to regulate. Hope seemed lost.

I spent the last 4 years learning to eat healthy and get control over my Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I've spent nearly 40 more months tracking and monitoring, and ultimately disappointed month after month as AF reared her ugly head.

I finally went dairy free a month and a half ago. I feel great. Or I did. Until this past week. Now I feel horrible. I'm ecstatic. Overjoyed, but cautious.

Completely natural. I suspected something was up 2.5 weeks ago and then last week my daughter's bunny literally died. I joked. I feel horrible now.

I'm a basketcase right now. I'm 44, turning 45 in 3 months. I have a 1 year old grandson! My oldest will be 27 by the time this one is born. I'm totally freaking out right now until I can see my doctor on Monday.

Thank you everyone. I've taken a few hpt, the line gets darker, quicker! I was afraid it may have been an evap line at first since I started last week with the usual symptoms and on Friday the stick didn't change until it dried (I had to pull it out of the trash because somethings on Saturday were concerning us).
Calling the doctor now to set up blood work (I had just had labs on Friday!)
We aren't telling friends or family until I'm showing. Can't risk another loss.
I'm the happiest person in the world right now!

Heard from my ob. Hcg is 27, testing again tomorrow, needs to go up to at least 42. AF isn't due until tomorrow. I just took 3 different tests - 2 ARE getting a bit darker, one not so much. Fingers crossed!
