:suprise:Hi all,

I would really appreciate it if you would take a look at my photos from my NT scan - baby was measuring 12w2d-12w3d.

UPDATE: Everyone here and on in gender has guessed boy but gender experts have guessed girl! Can anyone who said boy here explain why they think the gender experts guess is wrong??

Thank you!

I am guessing boy. The second and third pictures show what appears to be stacking on the nub.

For what it's worth, Gender Experts guessed my Twin B to be a boy both by Ramzi and by nub and she's been confirmed a girl.

Boy there's stacking there. Just because a nubs flat doesn't mean girl for sure especially if there's lines above that some may mistake for cord or leg x

I don't think anyone is saying that the gender expert is wrong. Had you posted their opinion with the first lot of pictures? I'm a bit confused if the experts opinion is your update? If so we wouldn't have known their guess to say their wrong iykwim? Everyone is guessing off a still picture and are not guessing as experts just given our opinion. I truly hope you get the gender you desire xx

I'm sorry, you're right that my update was poorly worded. What I meant was - if you originally guessed boy, can you explain what it was about the pictures that led you to that conclusion? The Gender Experts is just another guessing website, not an 'expert' per se (ie not a medical professional or anything).

Ah I see all cool , yes think its a bit of a tricky nub as it appears straight but there's also what could be stacking which I think is causing the boy guesses. When do you find out?

thanks all :) I've got a scan at 20 weeks but thinking now of getting an elective at 16w (currently 13w5d) as I'm very impatient to find out :)

I'm guessing girl I think amongst it all I can see the clear 2 lines appearance of a girl nub it also looks long and low. Good luck for your scan

Thanks Melly45 - sorry can you explain the 'clear 2 line appearance of a girl'? I haven't heard of this (I've heard of forking tending toward girl and stacking tending toward boy)?

I see this on your photo http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160321/e1cacfbbf323377e0331e6fff6612d20.jpg

Like a line in the middle of the nub...which is a clear indicator of a girl nub. Here are some more examples of other confirmed girl nubs. Do you see it?

Just my opinion I'm no expert I've looked at about 1000 girl nubs in the last few weeks. Your ultrasound pics aren't that clear and it's really based on the one pic I've shared where I can see that division.

Thanks for your explanation! I'm not sure I can make out what you mean but I'm really interested to hear your view anyway. Everyone else here and on ingender has gone Blue so it's always good to hear a contrasting view haha.

Thanks very much! The funny thing is - I'm desperate to know but I can't make up my mind what I'm hoping for! I have one daughter and I'd love her to have a sister (I'm one of 3 girls and love having sisters), but before she was born I was really hoping for a boy so there is still part of me that would love a little boy too. I think I won't fully know which I'm wanting until I hear for sure which it is and figure out if I'm relieved or disappointed! I'll be sure to keep you all updated :)

If it helps the reason people here said boy I think was that the nub wasn't flat against baby but angled up. It wasn't a particularly big angle but enough to suggest boy. Enjoy your sweet baby.
