Hello ladies,
I promised myself I wasn't going to use opks this month because they tend to stress me out, but before I knew it the box of FRER opks jumped into my trolley... whoops.
Anyways I had a clear negative result this morning, but this is what I have this afternoon 30475
What do you think?
Also, I am suffering with the most hideous attack of hayfever ever. My eyes are so puffy and I'm sneezing etc. Does this sway pink or blue? I thought I read once that allergies sway blue.....
TIA!

I would say that's very close but just not quite familymatters, but would expect tomorrows to be..
Don't know exactly how allegies sway but I know antihistamines are used as a pink tactic to help dry up/reduce cm?

Still negative.
Hayfever in and of itself doesn't sway, it may be more along the lines of "those of us with autoimmune/allergies may start off more likely to conceive boys than normal" but it isn't actively HAVING allergies at the time of conception, it's the tendencies in that direction.
Please take some medicine! It won't affect your sway and I don't want you to be miserable.

Those OPKs suck and are way too sensitive, they don't show differences in LH level well and give tons of false positive (a true positive on those would be MUCH darker than the control, like 2x). Can you get some Ovuplan ones? Those seem the best in Australia.

Thanks maiden, I'll try ovuplan. I used another two frer opks yesterday and both were clearly negative so I'm guessing that I haven't ovulated yet so I'll keep on testing.

It's so difficult to read because one side of the test line is dark, but then it gets lighter to the right. So weird. Off to the store to see if I can find some Ovuplan ones. Either way I can't DTD tonight because DH is away and won't be back until Sunday night. We DTD on Thursday night at 12pm (so I guess that's technically Friday morning!) So I'd say we've just missed the boat this month as I doubt Thursday nights spermies will still be around when I ovulate....

OK I went and bought ovuplan (wowzas they are expensive!) and I've got a positive result I think http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160326/ecb39fb05c9eba26cfbe3fc9394d2938.jpg
So I guess its just a wait and see thing. I can't bd again cause that would be more than two shots in my fertile window unfortunately :(

So you got that Ovuplan positive Sunday? Or is it Monday there already? If you O Monday, I think you have a pretty decent shot. If Tuesday, less so but still possible. If you feel confident in diet etc, I'd attempt again on Sunday night or ASAP if it's already Monday.
Was that Ovuplan strip dipped in the same urine as the pink strip? FYI, you can save urine in jars at room temp for several days and still get accurate OPK results. I have done that when I've run out of OPKs in the past (you can't buy them in stores here, only online). Just an FYI.

No it's still Saturday in Australia. So hubby and I DTD on Thursday night 12pm, then I got a positive ovuplan Saturday lunchtime. So around 36 hours after we DTD. Which means I probably won't O til Sunday arvo/evening. So it will be touch and go. I don't feel confident enough to bd again on Sunday....

Thanks ladies. We will see. I figure if we aren't lucky this month, then an extra month on the diet can't hurt.

So DH and I only bd-ed on CD9 and CD15. I wasn't using opks until CD 14. I had a negative on CD 14, close to positive CD15, negative CD 16 and then clear positive lunchtime CD 17. CD 24 I got a faint bfp, CD 25 (today) I have got a stronger bfp. That should put me at 8dpo! Which means I got my first positive at 7dpo - assuming O day was cd 18, the day after my positive opk. I've never had a bfp that early, I normally get them around 11dpo. I know this is all a bit confusing, and probably pointless but I guess I'm just bemused. I'm excited and scared all at the same time!!!

Thanks guys. I feel like I did an OK sway, but I've had two psychics tell me I'm having a boy so it's got me all stressed out. Lol! One of them in particular is almost never wrong! Gosh I hope he is wrong this time.
