UTI?

I am around 6-7 weeks along and my doctor called today to tell me I have a severe UTI (had an appt. Wednesday). I have never had one of these before. I did have a lot of scary cramping and back pain right around the end of August and I wonder if it was related to that. I am also wondering if maybe all the increased bd'ing with ttc is the cause?

And of course, I am also concerned that if I got the UTI while ttc that maybe it swayed pink? But I don't know how long I've had it so I don't know what to think. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Alot of sex can cause a uti yep! That is why they call it the honeymoon infection ;) ;)

Increased BD can def. cause a UTI but the main cause of UTI is pregnancy itself. Your uterus pulls on your bladder and also you have more discharge that contributes to UTI as well. It's much more likely that the UTI developed after you were already pg rather than having been there for so long.
