Sorry about Hubby job! That sucks!!
I am starting to freak out that I am going to have 4 kids it will be my last. And by time baby is born my DS will be 3 weeks shy of turning 3 so that's good! I just really hope all I did for my girl sway worked!
I did BD 3 days and 1 day before ovulate and day after o which prob doesn't matter.
When I had chemical last month I did eat off diet well not really but just meat like 5 days but still didn't go over and still had a long fasting.
I still don't eat after 8 lol I'm so use to it or breakfast

I'm still not really thinking about it yet. I had someone ask to day "i must be so excited about having a Xmas baby" but while it's a so much wanted baby it's still so early!
My boobs were hurting so much this morning I went and had a warm bath and now they don't hurt anywhere as much. I'm trying not to look into it too much hoping that the warm water did it's job. But then on the other hand I'm worried they are not hurt as much because I'm thinking my progesterone has dropped!

We did have one more bd without using anything but he didn't let loose his sperm army so I didn't count it. I'm not sure how to post a link to my chart, I haven't got taps talk or anything like that. I just downloaded the app for fertility friend to my iPad so if you can help me that would be great
Pinklady, what was the date of this unrecorded BD? You can definitely get pregnant from the pull out method or from precum. There have been a lot of women, even on this board, who have.

Apparently sore boobs can also be a sign of low progesterone too so maybe your levels are just right. My boobs were really sore last time as well as the one before so its not always a great indicator. I wouldn't rely too much on it, symptoms come and go and your body adjusts.
Sorry about your husbands job. I hope there are other opportunities around for him. My DH lost his job about 2 weeks before DS2 was born but was lucky to find a new job within a week.

[QUOTE=Beautifulrainbow;821536]I was going to say the same thing. You couldnt have o'd on march 18th ans ne only 4 weeks 6days.
My last lmp was 20th March i o'd 1st April (know because of trigger) making me today 4 weeks 5 days. My due date is 25/12/16. Pinklady did they give you a due date of 24/12/16?
Well I did work it out to be around there from what she said but I just don't know how that could be as my last lmp was 3rd March and that's way too long to have not ovulated in a cycle surely. The only thing I can think is it is two weeks behind which may be very bad news from what I've been googling .... Not slept well at all last night worrying about it. I have my doctors blood test on Wednesday which may tell me something about my hcg levels.... If they're not going as quick as they need to. I'm going out of my mind trying to figure out where and when this baby actually got made on my chart and from what I can see there are only two possibilities which is my original thought of 11/12th March or the 17/18th March both of which we bd around but that from a dating of 4weeks six days doesn't make sense either does it? Has anyone had anything like this....it's just been odd from start to finish this time with the bfn and then a really late bfp
The whole thing is messing with my head
Yes I have had a situation very similar to this (with a happy ending). I didn't get a positive test with DS 3 until about 5 wks after we dtd. I went for an ultrasound 1.5 weeks later and should have been measuring 6.5 wks along.... I only measured 4. I was devastated. I did a bunch of googling and read a lot about missed miscarriages. My midwife assured me I probably had my dates wrong but it was the only time we has dtd so I know my dates were right. 2 (extremely nerve wracking) weeks later I had a follow-up ultrasound and ds3 was measuring at 6.5 weeks. He was born at 39wks exactly and measured 2 weeks behind what he should have measured (according to my dates) the entire pregnancy. I have no explanation for it. I'm following you and keeping everything crossed that your situation works out like mine did.

Lady messed up I checked my other message from nurse my doctors nurse and she said 19,601!!!! But progesterone I guess goes up and down? Not sure but my boobs are sore today so when other lady said 1961 I was so like no way. But glad she was wrong!
Yes progesterone does flux. As long as its above 10 (I think) it's fine :) Sooooooo so glad the nurse was wrong, but that was one heck of an error!!!

KSmom, congrats of your BFP!!! I have missed a couple ladies as I haven't had time to read through all the posts yet!!
If you're 4w6d then O day would have likely been around April 1st. The only thing is it doesn't really make sense for when you DTD last. I really don't think there's any way you conceived from BD 10 days before O! lol Did you have any protected BD after CD20 where a little swimmer could have snuck through? Hopefully bean continues growing nicely and your dates are somehow off.

I think we will have better timed not preventing this cycle [emoji6]. DH wants #4 but gets cold feet. Since he doesn't know I started my period, we will have attempts around ovulation. Opks don't work for me when I nurse little ones, but I am temping. Hopefully I won't have another 43 day long cycle again!

Xx - yay for AF finally arriving. Fx for this cycle.
Girlie - I have been wondering about maiden too. I haven't seen any posts from her at all for awhile.
Beautifulrainbow - hope hubby can get another job soon.
Purple - that must be so hard to have people asking about having another baby. Really hope you get your sticky Bub soon.
Think I'm 5dpo today, temps were a bit crazy early in the week due to being up to dd2 during the night numerous times. Will try to hold out until 10dpo until I test.

I've often thought of you Nann. I think this is my 5th cycle ttc, but still swaying. Haven't had time for much exercise though unfortunately as it's the one thing with my weight gain that I really shouldn't drop. Still trying to eat as much of a HE diet as I can but trying to keep it healthy so I don't gain anymore. I really don't like that I've gone up a size in clothes. I have had to pull out my bigger jeans etc as mine from winter last year don't fit at all, that was really depressing. Anyway really hope this is your bfp. Feel free to post a pic & keep us updated.

Really.... That makes me feel a little better actually. I'm so worried I don't think I realised how happy I was about this baby until I thought it might not come into being at all. I've done nothing but worry and Google since I found out. I did think that with maybe not get a bfp until a week later than my period was actually due might mean I was only a week behind where it should be. I still don't feel any different at all, mildly sore boobs but that's about it. Have had no spotting no cramping no signs whatever that there might be something wrong or does that happen later. I really don't think I can wait another two weeks for a private scan without going insane. Do you think that I could get in the early pregnancy unit some how... If your uk based u may have heard of this?

Pinklady - no symptoms is quite common but under your circumstances I can understand your concern. IMO the trouble with really early scans is that sometimes they can't see everything properly & it can cause more worry. I had a scan at 6wks with dd3 & they asked me to come back a week later as they couldn't see all that they needed & said that maybe it was too early or maybe I had an empty sac, it just made me worry all week. It was my gp that sent me for the scan & when I saw my ob at 8 wks he said he didn't recommend them any earlier than 8 wks for that reason. Anyway just my opinion.

Welcome back Nann! That looks like a line to me. Those strips are normally very very faint so it looks promising for 9dpo. I have only every got lines on those at 11dpo. Looking forward to tomorrows!
Pinklady, I forgot that I have read some cases of the early scans being incorrect so it is a possibility! It is so hard waiting and not knowing. Hang in there.
Farmgirl, my fertility specialist also said he doesn't recommend scans before 8 weeks. I have always had them done at 7 so if I get a bfp again I will wait until 8wks. It will be a long anxious wait though!
I'm 10dpo and starting to feel a bit like AF is on its way although I felt like this last time and got an BFP. I won't be testing, I'm not even tempted. Thanks for the advice re epu, I've not even been to a midwife yet so perhaps I could ring doctor tomorrow and ask for a referral. I thought Thursday cos that should be a week later for the scan and should show some progress although I think I would be happy if I went on Monday and they told me I was 5 weeks and 4 days as at least it would be developing. In answer to the bd question it was the Sunday 27th cd 25 when we had a go with no release. Sorry Signingmommy. :( FX for a BFP next cycle!!
I'm sorry it's a bfn Nann but it's still early. Just FYI the digitals aren't very sensitive. If it's the CB digital that just reads "pregnant" or "not pregnant," the sensitivity is 50 vs the FRER which is 25. The FRER must be WAY more sensitive than what they claim because my beta was a 16 the day after I got a positive on the FR so it had to be even lower than that the day before.

Nann I hope it comes back if you test today. And that bfp line develops because I did see the line in the other tests you posted.
Can I ask a question about early pregnancy with your girls. So after you found out you were but before you knew they were girls, was you duper hungry?
I was alway hungry when I was pregnant with my boys. Now with my bean when I'm not feeling sick I'm feeling so hungry.
I read somewhere that boy fetuses send signals to the mothers brain telling them they are hungry all the time. If this is true then I'm carrying my 4th boy!

My dad just came around and was talking about his new girlfriends daughter. That they just found out she is pregnant. So I told my dad I was too. Didn't want to wait a few weeks then him day I only got pregnant because he told me this other women did. he went "what another one i thought you wasnt going to have anymore".my reply was "i never said that and its not upto anyone how many kids we have". All he did was talk about his girlfriends daughter what they are going to call it if it's a boy and what if it's a girl. And his girlfriend is pushing the same name I want if it's a girl. Grr upset and mad. I'm his 1st born child he should be happy for me. It was me who took him in when he was made homeless!

Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
I think his reasoning is that it is better to wait then to see if baby is going to be viable. I had told him my scan at 7 weeks all looked good and I guess in that case if I had a scan a week later it might have indicated something was wrong sooner.
Sorry about what your dad's lack of interest. It is strange he is so interested in his girlfriends daughters child instead.

Hi everyone! Update on me:
So I went to a GYN appointment today for the first time ever in my life. I've only seen homebirth midwives with my pregnancies and family doctors for everything else including my annual pap, etc. I wanted to figure out what's up with my super heavy hemorrhaging periods, possible fibroids, and low iron. The doctor I went to had excellent reviews and specializes in fertility issues. She spent an hour with me! Anyways, she did a transvaginal ultrasound and said I do NOT have any fibroids, but that my uterus is enlarged (6-8 week pregnancy size) and I have a big golf ball sized mass on my left ovary! She said it looked like ovarian endometriosis, so a big blood and tissue filled mass (endometrioma it's called)! I guess they are also called chocolate cysts because when you cut them open it looks like a chocolate truffle! She said the enlarged uterus may just be from me having had kids. She did say it was lumpy though! But none of that is causing my heavy periods she said. She took a bunch of blood tests and wants to test me for blood disorders like sickle cell, von willebrand, etc. She also wants me to try and not have a period for 1-2 months to build up my iron stores. So she prescribed some progesterone only pill that's stronger than the mini pill and should stop my period. Then she prescribed another med, Lysteda, that's non-hormonal to take during my period that should make it lighter. That one I'm actually leary of taking since it causes blood clots and I'm already at risk for that due to my homozygous MTHFR mutation and I read a study where several women with the same mutation suffered strokes while taking it!!! So not sure about that one. She'll get back to me in a week to go over all my blood test results. The progesterone pill may shrink my ovarian mass (she'll recheck in 6 weeks), but if not I'll need laproscopic surgery to remove it since it's not normal. Fun times!

Checking in.
CD 17 and still no positive OPK yet for me :( Starting getting sick Sunday night with a Sinus Cold so I am sure that will just delay O even more.
I took the 7.5mg of Femara on CD3-7 this cycle but I am not responding to it like they hoped. Had an ultrasound on CD13 to check follicle size and they were only around 13mm but my lining was good at 11. Went back on CD16 to check for growth and one grew to almost a 15 and my lining was down to an 6 or 8 (I can't remember anymore). So they basically said this cycle is a bust that my body was gearing up with the estrogen in the beginning and then puttered out.
They talked about maybe injectibles next month but I am going to try to get them to give the Femara another chance. Oh and they also said losing 10% of my body weight for next cycle would have the same effect as any of the injectible drugs. I am overweight and I honestly have been trying to lose weight but don't seem to be getting anywhere, I asked if the Clomid and Femara could cause the weight gain and they said it absolutely does make you gain weight and hold onto water weight. So basically I have been spinning my wheels dieting but I will try to cut my calories in hopes that it helps.

April 27th, 2016, 06:29 AM
Do you know if you have PCOS tfahn? If you have some insulin resistance then it could be stopping you from losing weight, if that was the case then metformin might help (obviously your Dr would be the one to speak to about this).
I'm sorry the fermara hasn't helped :(
I was expecting AF today but it hasn't turned up. I expect it will be tomorrow as I wasn't 100% sure of my O dates. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow I will test Friday but I'm about 95% sure it will arrive.

I think the only symptom of PCOS I would possibly have, that I know of would be that I ovulate later, usually around CD18 but I get my cycle every month, so not sure if that is really a defect plus I'm overweight. I did have my thyroid levels checked a few months ago and they were fine and my fasting blood sugars were good. I know if I become stricter with my diet I should be able to lose the weight. I have lost the weight in the past and if I'm honest with myself I haven't been giving it my all. So I think I just need to buckle down and do it.
My sister has PCOS, with all the classic symptoms, thinning hair, weight gain, cysts on her ovaries and infertility, she had an 11 year age gap between her 2 kids.

Ask them to check your ferritin levels, not just hemoglobin and hematocrit. You can have an iron deficiency (low ferritin) but not be anemic. I am. Ideal ferritin is 70-90. Mine was 8.

Is it normal for your temps to be higher during AF or spotting after AF is leaving? I feel my temps are higher than I remember. I'm also temping vaginally. I've also temped 6+ hours after sleeping [emoji3]. DS3 is sleeping better!

Back from doctor. They discovered while I was there my pulse was fast so checked my urine for infection. All clear. And put me on a heart rate monitor. That came back fine in the end, the doctor said pulse was probably fast because of making me get on and off the couch and talking. Said most of my symptoms are probably down to pregnancy just like I thought but may have low iron and sending me doe blood rest tomorrow.

Yes, ferritin is iron stores. I've been on high dose prescription iron (150mg three times a day) for 18 months now trying to get mine up. LE diet for 9 months, heavy periods for 12 years, and then my miscarriage all contributed to my severe iron deficiency. My levels were at 46 at my last check. They were checked again yesterday but it will be a week till I get the results.

She also said she hates people who can just pop them out and even though I have had to have fertility treatment to get this one she not going to see it like that just yet and I know it's doing to upset her no matter when I tell her. Ahe has put offbtedting for so long she has only just now asked for help and the basic test have showed no reason why she isnt getting pregnant. I think she has a very short lp but won't look for when she is o'ing or record her cycles because that will tell her so much. I want to tell her about me but I also want to save her feelings. I wish nothing more than for her to have a baby!

Sooo, I've been much better with the diet and only had 3 off days during AF. Buh-ut, my temp is high this morning!! Like my in my post-O range! If it's high for the next two days then I for sure Oed. If not, then it could be a fluke high temp. I've been getting good sleep lately so lack of consistent sleep in a row is not the cause of my high temp. Good news is we only had one attempt so if I did O, I have that going for me along with the exercise. I have gotten pregnant before with an early ovulation on CD4-5 before with DS1, so I know it can happen. It's a high probability it is early O, since I had a delayed O last cycle.
And now I wait...

I'm very jumpy with threading. I'm quite upset about it because I feel like I'm walking around looking like a gorilla lol

I'm sure waxing is fine but they probably just didn't want to do it as a CYA type deal. I'm sure they don't want to risk a potential lawsuit.

Hey BR, it fine to wax during pregnancy,I'm a beauty Therapist and have never heard of being turned away bcos your pregnant, they are full of it!!! Weird salon . Its probably related to the oils they use after waxing, cause some arnt safe during pregnancy
I know women who book in to get a Brazilian a week before there due
Poor you go to a beauty therapist, they will do it for you.
Hey jennypenny don't think there's a May thread yet , I was looking but couldn't find one

I'm feeling fine just have this awful taste in my mouth that comes and goes and some food gives me heartbun. That's about it lol I'm glad I don't have morning sickness it so hard to deal with!
This is number 4 also! I'm so scared lately but I been feeling pretty calm about the gender I just feel like I shouldn't get myself crazy and worried because for some reason I feel like when I go for my 20 week scan the tech will says it's a girl! I will then fall off the table lol!
Do you have all boys then?
Hope u feel better soon

Yes I have 3 boys. I would like to hear them say girl too but if not then I am going to be a little upset but I know I will get over it I did before. I also know then I was only ever meant to be a boy mom and I did everything in my power to shift the odds. How many children do you have I can't see your signature on tapatalk

Thinking of you today Princessmom, I hope all is well!
I have a question about timing, if one was doing BD once in fertile window then when should one plan to BD? my monitor indicated high fertility on day 9 and according to it I ovulated earlier than usual on day 12 (today) usually day 14 or 15 for me. If I was attempting once in the fertile period when should I have BD'ed? if I had attempted today would that be too late? would I have already ovulated by the time the monitor gives that reading? I usually get 2 -3 days high fertility, 2 days of egg symbol (ovulation) and then 2 days of high fertility. Would I be better attempting on day 2 of high fertility and hope the swimmers hang around for ovulation? Many thanks
The egg symbol does NOT mean O. It means you are having your LH surge that triggers O. On average, it's most common to O 1 day after your surge (so the day after you first see the egg symbol), but O can happen 2, 3 or more days later. It sounds like at the very earliest you Oed on CD13.
Hi all just wondering if anyone could look at my chart and pin point when they think I ovulated, I thought the Tuesday but now I'm not sure so want to check whether my bd attempts were boy or girl like I first thought depending when I actually conceived. Hope that makes sense30922
I think you most likely Oed on April 1st which lines up exactly with your dating scan. I think you must have conceived from the pull out on CD25! Good odds for pink :)
essnce, so sorry to hear about the endometrioma and lumpy uterus.i hope the meds are able to shrink it. I bet it is entirely to blame for your heavy bleeding and low iron.
XX, I think it's unlikely that you've Oed yet, based on your CM. You have had a past cycle in which your temps during and right after AF were similarly high, so it's not unheard of for you.
I've read up but will post about myself in the May thread! Just wanted to address those few things.

I have 3 my son is 8 my daughter just turned 7 and my DS is 2
Whole reason I did this was for my DD the child asks me for past 4 years for a sister daily lol.
The other day my husband and I were discussing purchasing a trundle type bed for the boys once, but my youngest is still small and won't sleep away from me.
But she got so upset she started to cry that it isn't fair that she doesn't have a sister yet to share a room with.
I just felt so bad.
I know feel like I messed up my sway, I BD 3 days and 1 day before o and day after o which prob didn't mean anything.
I just didn't think I would of gotten pregnant. But in all reality it is what is meant to be. So for my daughter I pray God gave her a little sister.

Aww my son's are asking me for a sister too. And they probably need a bossy littlea sister keeping them in check too. I may have actually away boy with my exercise in the end because i couldnt dit it in all the time. But i have pcos so any exercise is still great. I was ok on my diet did have some cheat days. I bd tge morning before I o'd and on the morning I od on atomics advice we had to catch the egg after I had fertility treatment. but just really really hope I get a girl this time.

Will you be finding out?yes as soon as I possibly can so either we can get over the disappointment or I can enjoy every moment of having a girl pregnancy. Are you finding out? I did see your dilemma in another post.
