I was wondering if anyone else was dealing with trying to eat the proper stuff and healthier in general with lots of food allergies?

I am allergic to strawberries, pineapple, bananas, tomatoes, egg, and seafood. I am also allergic to Vitex. Any help for meal planning would be great, especially breakfast. Thank you.

Are you swaying now Shannshaff? Or is HT still your plan?

I am going to do the le sway diet for now while I am still BFing DS4. I figure it is best for me to at least be on the diet just in case we have an oops or something. :) And I would love to loose 20-30 lbs before doing HT.

have you seen this?? There's an alternate diet for people who may go HT (under atomic fertility diet) and it's perfectly fine to just avoid the things you can't eat. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/9052-swaying-under-special-circumstances-part-3-pcos.html

Vitex has not been outstanding results anyway, we're using it less and less. No worries there.

Can you have yogurt or something like that?? I have also eaten 1/2 cup of nuts for lunch many times, it's healthy and almonds and walnuts are great for fertility.

I am lactose intolerant, so no real yogurt or dairy. Some days I am ok and others, I get a huge stomach ache from it. I do eat cheese and do ok on that most of the time.

Many of us (I too am LI) can have yogurt and cheese because the microorganisms predigest the lactose for us and I eat it all the time. I can't do milk or ice cream tho. But you know your body better than me of course!!! I think some brands have additional skim milk powder stirred into it to increase protein so I'd focus more on the more "natural" kinds (as if anything in a plastic container is really that natural but yk what i mean)

LOL...true. :) I finally got a chance to read the diet you suggested. I did have a question about t though.
I am allergic to seafood (so no salmon) and eggs. Is there something in particular I should be eating to replace both of those things?

I am planning to start this diet this weekend. I have not had my ppaf yet and DH and I are horrible about protection. . After two years of not having to think about it at all, we just forget. Crazy I know, but I can't take BCPs, so condoms it is for the time being. I do take an OPK every other day to see if LH is increasing at all. There has only been a very faint line so far. I used to get 2-3 positive OPKs a month and it would be a slow increase over a few days. I am assuming it will be the same.

Red meat can be subbed for the salmon and walnuts/almonds/full fat dairy for the eggs. :)

I think most of us in committed relationships skip the BCP and stick with pullout, condoms, or NFP or some combo of all of them. As long as you're ok with taking a chance, then it's not crazy at all!!
