Thanks ladies! I never guess right so I'm always surprised and shocked to find out the sex. I though this was a boy for sure but dang if it doesn't look all girl.

So I didn't realize that forked could go either way? Is that true? I also thought forked ends were mostly girl. I also have been reading super mixed things about anything during 12 weeks. Some people say they can still rise until 13 weeks. Sheesh, now I'm doubting! Anyone have any info to input?

I got quite a bit of feedback but just curious if there's anyone else?

Yes boys can be forked but, usually, are not long like yours. Also someone has to evaluate the angle of the nub compared to the spine,if it's 30° or more then this is a boy nub. Yours is quite flat. That being said there are many girly nubs that turned out to be boys, or the opposite.

Your nub looks just like my best friend's who is currently 36 weeks pregnant with a girl (after 2 boys)!

Thanks..I feel pretty confident and actually think I would be quite ok either way but have found I'm already invested into this being a girl. I also thought I knew how to read nubs pretty well and then did more reading and confused myself. Lol. The things us women do! Thanks ladies!

When it comes to our own pictures I think we get biased and we can't be objective (I'm talking from experience). But after hundreds of nub pictures with final outcome I've seen, I really think that 1 picture alone is not that much reliable. Many classic nub shots have been proven to be the opposite... That's why I think a tech familiar with nub theory would be more trustworthy. I personally would wait for gender ultrasound and would not take for granted a guess based on a single shot. I'm wishing you the best!

I totally think we can't be trusted to read our own ultrasounds- that should be a rule! haha. My tech was sure it was a girl by the end but I guess I won't go getting rid of all boy things until I get confirmation in 5 weeks at the anatomy scan. Thanks mamato3!

Nub shot is super girly. I like this example because the second pic it almost looks like there is something between baby's legs which is why so many women are wrongly told boy/girl off a potty shot when it is not reliable at this gestation.
