Ladies please remind me, I know EWCM is fertile mucus but how much of an indication to ov is it?? I've got copious amounts this morning - sorry, tmi!!x

It means O MAY happen soon, but you can have EWCM for over a week before actual O. What's going on with your OPKs?

I'm not testing; I got into all that when ttc the boys so don't really want to go there. I'm just maintaining e4d even though we aren't actually ttc... I'm still waiting for dh to agree to it :think:

I've found that, since I've started swaying, my CM is kind of all over the place. For instance, this cycle, I had quite a bit of EWCM on Friday and a little yesterday but I don't expect to ovulate until today. Before swaying, I would get it for about 3 days in a row right before ovulation. I think it's hard to guess at ovulation based on CM alone for a lot of people, especially when you're swaying.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you. DH hasn't officially agreed (although I think he's as close as he'll get right now) and I really don't want to get pregnant right now (was hoping for a few more months on the diet and I want to lose more weight) but with swaying, it seems like my ovulation is getting earlier and earlier so if I'm not careful, we will end up with an oops baby.

I think I seem to get fertile ewcm about 4 days before ovulation and it seems less egg white at ovulation. I always presumed when I had this It meant I was ovulating within 24 hours but according to that and opks it's more of a build up. Maybe it's so some of it hangs around? I had a month of hardly any but this cycle increased. I keep reminding myself that timing and ph etc. Is further down the sway list stats

I get ewcm and watery cm in the week leading up to O, but it turns dry/sticky starting around 2 days before O and stays that way till AF arrives.

I usually get 4 or 5 days of cloudy very stretchy cm like major amounts and then the day or so b4 ov it turns proper clear ewcm

Thanks ladies, it seems to be most people's pattern to get it some time before actual ov then.

I had period type cramps last night so that had me wondering... Haven't a clue what's going on or where I am in my cycle though due to coming off POP...x

It seems different for everyone in every month. I have had gobs of it starting insanely early some months (CD 3!!) and then other months I have had zippo for seemingly no reason. (this is not when swaying, just generally)
