Hello! Im brand new and hope I have done enough research on the sire to come up with a plan that makes sense! I was hoping someone could take a look and critique, make suggestions or answer some of the questions I have laid out. I would really appreciate it mamas! xo

My Girly Plan...

DIET
40g-50g of Protein
55g of Fat
1800 calories
Potassium 2500-3500mg
Sodium 1000mg

Skip breakfast, 2 – 3 meals a day – around 11:30am, 2:30pm, 6:30pm
Be ‘hungry’ before eating a meal

Dairy: skim, low fat options for cheese, yogurt, milk
Grains: White rice, pasta, bread
Meat & Alt: No red meat or fish. Chicken if necessary.
Fruit: limit to 1-2 a day, preferably strawberries, raspberries or blueberries.
Vegetables: Limit high nutritious vegetables; low carb vegetables are free (broccoli & spinach); high carb vegetables count calories (squash & yams); High protein vegetables count calories and protein (Legumes); limit high fat vegetables and count calories and fat (avocado & olives)

**** Focus on skim dairy (low fat, protein), white carbs, low carb vegetables.****

Sample Day:
Meal #1 (@11:30am): Toast, cottage cheese, strawberries, glass of milk

Meal #2 (@2:30pm): romaine, chick peas, crotons, red onion, cucumber, mozzarella cheese. With a yogurt and fruit/nuts.

Meal #3 (@6:30pm): 1 serving of white rice with unsalted butter, vegetables (bock choy , kale, broccoli, red peppers, onion) topped with ¼ cup shredded cheese.

Questions about Diet:
1) Am I not supposed to mix protein and carbs? Should my first meal of the day be mostly protein? Or is my main focus to have high carb, high vegetable and a sprinkle of protein?
2) Are egg whites okay? I would like to make veggie omlettes.
3) Is Almond Milk or Rice milk a good alternative from regular milk?
4) Is bread okay or should I stay away from yeast? If so, is there anything special I should look for when choosing a bread?
5) Drinks: I will start to drink crystal light (not a coffee or soda drinker) but what type of water should I drink it with? We use spring fresh water from our water cooler.
6) Are sauces okay to use as long as I stay within the requirements?
7) When its mention to watch sugar intake, is it talking about sugar from carbs or sugar from candy, jams etc? or just a general sense of basically don't eat 3 plates full of pasta (Im Italian so I need this cleared up! lol)

SUPPLEMEMTS & OTHER

Cardio – 60 minutes everyday (walking with my son)
We want to start TTC in June – 12 weeks away
Abstinence with cut off: 7-10 days and DTD 3 days before Ovulation OR use the last attempt of 3 (have him release himself) on the day we want to DTD.
Jump and dump method
No O
KY Jelly
DH will take hot bath before DTD or use a heating pad
He will ease up on the weights at the gym

Folic Acid
DH and Myself will take probiotics
DH Olive leaf Extract
Antihistamines
RepHresh

No SP or cranberry because I am BF my baby boy
No peppermint tea as I am BF my baby boy
No Vitex as my cycles are all 26 days apart.

Questions:
1) what does 2WW mean?? Lol is it the weeks after ovulation?
2) I would prefer to have DH release himself a few times the day we DTD (2-3 days prior to Ovulation) and then on the third attempt allow insemination to happen. Would this be a good idea? We are both very fertile but have low sex drives. There are only males on his family for 4 generations and has very high testosterone. He is also 33 so I am nervous about the abstinence option.
3) How do I test mine and my husbands pH? Will a regular test strip do? Is this necessary?
4) Is there anything I can take to lower mine and DH testosterone?
5) Should DH take Vitamin C?
6) Do I time my 2-3 days to DTD from my first ovulation day or my high fertile day right before ovulation day?
7) When do I use Antihistamines? And which ones?

Hi and welcome!

Definitely skip the probiotics as they have been shown to sway boy. I got both my boys while taking probiotics.

I would definitely choose to drink coffee and alcohol over aspartame drinks as both coffee and alcohol are strong girl sways.

Most people are no longer doing jump and dump, Rephresh, and antihistamines since they seem to decrease the chance of conception by a lot but don't sway much.

No one does anything related to PH anymore as it doesn't sway.

Timing and frequency aren't focused on any more. The most important thing for a girl sway is to have one attempt in your fertile window. People are doing that by either BD every 4 days from the time AF ends past the latest they've ever O'd or BD once at +opk.

Regarding fruits, berries are some of the most nutritious fruits so you may want to stick to less nutritious fruits like apples, pears, bananas, etc.

No one counts sodium anymore.

You may want to skip the nuts. They are extremely nutrient dense and a lot of us got our boys with eating lots of nuts (including myself who would eat yogurt with lots of almonds).

I would focus on heavy vegetables, medium carbs, and low protein. As long as you stay within the limits it doesn't really matter what you're eating.

Extra vitamin C is not necessary. Extra nutrients seem to sway boy so the only thing you should be taking is folic acid or folate.

wow thank you! Im glad I reached out because i guess i was researching old information. This diet seems to keep getting easier the more I ask questions about it. So low protein like LF yogurts, and a few beans; and medium carbs like a serving of rice or a wrap, and heavy vegetables... like roasted yams, carrots and squash.
Thank you for your help!

Oh also.... What oil do we cook with? I'm thinking vegetable oil. And are onions preferred or no? I found a link to the grade A-D foods but didn't see onion or garlic on them.
I'm not a coffee drinker. To be honest all I ever drink is water (I know I'm boring) and I don't drink alcohol. Should I start drinking coffee? I'm BF also.

And I'm so outdated with the BD info! So now we are BD every 4 days from AF? Doesn't that sway boy? And once with a positive ovulation test on ovulation day? I think DH has strong swimmers so I was leaning more towards having him release himself twice the day of O and then in the afternoon evening do the BD and hope for insemination.

Am I way off of getting closer? Lol.
Thank you!!!

Yes to vegetable oil. I'm not sure on onions. I've been using them. Nothing is really forbidden on the LE. I think garlic is said to sway boy but I still use it. Not excessively, but I haven't cut it out.
I never drank coffee before but started having half hot chocolate/half coffee which is really tasty! Now I drink it with flavoured creamer. Try it, it's really good for pink!

Every 4 days OR one attempt at first positive OPK sways pink. Every 4 days just gives you one attempt in the fertile window which is definitely good for pink. Many attempts would sway blue. Some people will do E4D and then add in an extra attempt at positive OPK if they've been trying for a while or are in more of a hurry to get pregnant. Hubby can do what he likes. I don't think FR or abstaining has been shown to sway either way. The one attempt is the important part.

To answer a couple of your questions that I don't think were answered:
2WW=the two week wait between ovulation and the start of AF/BFP
The daily 60 minutes of exercise will lower your testosterone.
Unless you're PCOS, stick to white bread/carbs. If you are PCOS/on the alternative diet, go with whole grain bread.
You can have egg white omelettes but just watch your protein levels.
Sugar doesn't have to be counted on the regular LE diet. But no, you shouldn't eat 3 plates of pasta ;) You should avoid eating huge meals anyway that will leave you feeling stuffed (think the 1200cal type meals).

Thanks so much Beau82! What does PCOS mean?
Is there a thread that discusses meals? Theres so many threads and I'm not sure where to start with making a meal plan for myself with these limits unless I'm just eating toast. I just need a head start and then I'm sure i will pick it up.

PCOS- polycystic ovarian syndrome.

Try myfitnesspal. You can download the app on your smartphone, if you have one. Change the macros under settings to meet the 50-60g fat and 40-50g protein. Don't worry about the carb setting- that doesn't matter.

We have a diet thread of you search meal ideas, it should pop up. We discuss what we eat regularly, and you can ask us meal questions.

I know it's so overwhelming in the beginning, but it will become second nature quickly.

FX and GL to you!!

1)Don't worry about mixing proteins and carbs, that's only for blue swayers. Pink swayers can mix proteins and carb or not. Doesn't matter
2)Egg whites fine
3)Either or both
4)Bread is fine, why would you stay away from yeast (sorry if I'm missing something here) The downside of bread is if you're limiting sodium it can be very high in that.
5)It is very unlikely that water sways. I know that's a popular idea on the other site but if it was true we'd see whole cities with vastly altered gender ratios and we don't
6)Sauces are FINE!! Again, sodium content, but most of us have totally given up on that anyway
7)Only worry about sugar if you have PCOS or insulin resistance. Otherwise you'll be limiting it by virtue of limiting cals anyway. Sugar is NOT the reason not to eat 3 plates of spaghetti at once, of course - that's overall cals, protein content in the pasta!

1)2ww = time from O thru AF. aka 2 week weight
2)I already discussed this in a different thread as to why this is not a good idea. Abstinence is fine at 33 but hasn't gotten stelalr results
3)Virtually everyone on this site has given up pH testing as we have all seen (and many of us have had) pH opposites to such an extent that it obviously wasn't giving us any type of reliable info whatsoever and people were ending up in tears over pH fluctuations that were miniscule. Don't bother http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html
4)Diet will lower your testosterone, we use soy milk, pep tea, and/or licorice to lower DH's T but we are not sure if that is necessary and like I mentioned I cannot sign off on any supps for a husband (or wife for that matter) without a custom plan because I do not have enough info about their medical status to know which ones are appropriate for each individual guy.
5)no
6)answered in other thread
7)Since you're nursing you should only take one cetirizine 6 hours before attempt. No more than that.

re onions, it depends on what kind of sway you want. Some people really want to avoid everything that has ever been said by anyone to sway blue. Some sources have garlic and onion as possibly swaying blue so I have left them out, but do I PERSONALLY think they sway blue - not a chance. they're eaten around the world in huge quantities and the gender ratio stays 50-50 wherever you go.

VEg oil like corn oil, soy oil, etc is best or even margarine

It's actually really easy. We started off stricter and learned over time it didn't need to be that strict.

Atomic you are truly amazing. Thank you so much! I think I have my plan sorted out now. Just coming up with an archive of meals and then 12 weeks here I come! I can't wait for a BFP and am hopeful for a girl. I cant wait to share this experience with my friends. I have two friends that both recently experienced gender disappointment and I know they have never heard of a sway before. After everything I have learned I can see they both are natural boy eaters. Can wait to spread the word and recruit a few more moms to your site soon enough!

Hi Nessa-- I don't have a whole lot of advice; I'm mostly here for some moral support. Your tentative sway sounds A LOT like mine, (breastfeeding, exercise, food choices and all!) and my husband and I will start trying to conceive in June as well! I was having a really hard time keeping my sodium levels lower, and I saw a lot of others on here giving up on it and still getting girls, so I honestly stopped counting it. I just wanted to say hi, good luck, and I'll be right there with ya! :)

Hi Kaitie! Thanks for reaching out! I'm just fine tuning my sway and I think I'll officially start on Sunday. Right now I'm just experimenting with the meals and getting all the research in! I counted 12 weeks from Sunday and it looks like June will be here faster than I thought so I may push it to July. I don't know yet..
Good luck to you!
