Thanks Atomic for offering to help me with my sway and to anyone else who wants to make any suggestions.
I purchased a plan from Atomic in April 15 and I started on the LE Diet in May, but was only going to start TTC’ing in October. Up until now I have stuck with the LE Diet with no luck conceiving thus far.
To Recap:
Started off at 45kgs – 155cm tall – now down to 40kgs – chose the couch potato option
Went completely vegetarian (no meat), eggs occasionally. (May through to Jan)
Skipped Breakfast – but had 2 cups of coffee, half a sugar in each (started off doing skim milk, but in Feb switched back to full fat, as per your recommendations)
Folic Acid – started taking Fibre but then stopped
Meal 1: round 10:30 /11am
3 slices of white toast with margarine and plum jam
Meal 2: round 2:30pm
Cruskits/ sandwich with cucumber, lettuce and cheese or salad wrap or sweets/chocolate with coke
Zero or/and an apple
Meal 3: round 6pm / 7 pm – would alternate between the below meals
White rice with either some or all of this veg (broccoli/ zucchini/mushrooms/ cauliflower / corn)
Pasta with sauce
Baked Potato, margarine, teaspoon of mayo with veg
Or just sides of whatever the family were having, but no meat
Or salad (Iceberg lettuce/ cucumber/ grated carrot/cheese)
A piece of white chocolate
2 glasses of sweet white wine – every night
No snacking!
In Feb you suggested I have 4 / 6 eggs a week and add in 1 serve of red meat – which I have been doing, but only have about 4 eggs a week. Having full cream milk in my coffee. You also suggested zinc and iron.
We started off doing 1 attempt at +OPK, but that was not really working because in 1 of my cycles in Jan I think – I had 7 days of very positive opk’s (which appeared to look like it could be PCOS, but I didn’t really have any other symptoms of PCOS), so thought I would try E4D method, less stress, tried that for Feb & March, now trying E3D method. I don’t get to do these methods all the time as hubby goes away for work sometimes, but I try and stick to it as best as I can. I do use Sylk, I need to use it as the longer the BD goes on, the more chance of me O’ing, so I try to make it quick, but I use very little, just a tiny amount to get in (TMI - sorry)
I have tried temping but, I have broken sleep so my temping records are not great but I keep trying to see if I can see any patterns.
My cycles are pretty spot on, vary between 24 – 26 days every month, normally 26.
We were also doing FR, but now just do whatever we can, when we can (hubby is 43)
He smokes and drinks (not much exercise)
Well, I think that’s everything from my side. If you can think of anything you can suggest, I will be willing to try.
It’s very important for me to try for my Girl and not just a baby (I know that nothing is guaranteed) and that’s what has kept my motivation going on the LE Diet, but I think the weight loss might be an issue??? I am used to the diet now and don’t mind it much. I do enjoy a cheat. Recently I have started having a chicken cheat once a week as well as the red meat cheat, helps break up my week of meals, but the portions of meat are very small because I don’t want to go over on protein.
Thanks very much, appreciate the help/ advice
