hi ladies im back again after a early miscarriage in january
i actually decided no more as we wanted to get married but this baby had other plans!
im current 4 weeks 5 days first scan in 20 days!
i did absolutely no sway what so ever as i was having so much dental work down over the last month and a half i lost track
but basically these are my unitentional sway factors

17 day abstain i was just too tired and he does not do it himself (hubby is 26)
skipped breakfast every day as id wake up and head straight for coffee
very low calorie intake daily
sex once that month only! (go figure 😕)
alcohol in my diet most definetly!
i was talking alot of panadeine forte and endone for pain for dental work 3 weeks before doing the deed (unsure on affects of fertility)
jumped and dumped immediatly!
i was actually really shocked to see two pink lines as i tested on the sunday but the wednesday thursday and friday before that i was spotting and since my miscarriage thats how aunt flow has been starting!

im really hoping for a healthy baby buf i have three boys so i would LOVE a little girl how are my chances looking just with my unintentional sway factors :)
atomic it would be lovely to hear from you aswell again when you get a chance! :) thanks ladies :)

I think you have a great shot at pink! What's done is done. I think personally no snacking, low fat, and low protein are the best diet factors that sway.

FX and GL to you!!

im no expert but it looks like your in with a good chance to me! plus with you not swaying you wont of been stressing about it which is good for pink :) also it seems that little pink beans often have a habit of popping up unexpectedly!! i know quite a few people with shock pregnancies that were girls, when i conceived my youngest daughter i had completely written that month off due to only dtd once and then me coming down with gastro just a few hours later!! i couldnt eat anything for 4 days so was certain my cycle/ovulation would have been messed up, wrote that month off and was prepared to try again the next month.. only to get my bfp 2 weeks later!! i did no intentional sway tactics and this was after having 3 boys in a row!!

wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy and my fingers are crossed that you get your little girl :XX: xx

Personally I didn't but that doesn't mean you won't as some people do. I would have thought from week 8 you'll definitely see one xx

i think the abstain and jump and dump is my happiest point of my sway lol because abstain is something we never do when ttc and jump and dump is opposite to what we do aswell and only once is another big factor for me haha

Low cals and hving sex only once a month don't hurt either!

Sex once a month is something I see shockingly often in my moms who want boys and have many girls. They regularly have sex only one time in a month. My husband would flip his sh-- if we did that haha

hahahahahhha in the whole 4 years weve been together and officially tried for a baby twice before this attempt, that is the first time that has ever happened! lol he was close to crying some nights hahahaha i was just toooo tired! lol usually when were ttc we do atleast 1 attempt everday for several days before and try for twice a day on fertile days so this
yeah usually i eat like nothing during the day and if i did it lacked any nutrition then i would eat dinner and thats it lol i also had just gotten a new coffee machine so i was hammer and tongs on that

You can't tell what side you Oed from on the basis of O pain. You develop eggs in both ovaries every month and ovulation can actually relieve the pain (kinda like popping a zit) LOL and several of us have found to our surprise we felt O pain in the OTHER ovary that we didn't ovulate from.

Painkillers all tend to sway pink.

oh cool thats really interesting!!! cant wait to see!!

Short term oxycodone shouldn't do much of anything but yes, long term opiates do suppress fertility (but not horribly so or anything) and sway pink. I am on high dose opiates very similar to oxycodone 24/7 for pain for several years now and my cycles and hormones are all normal/good except for very low/undetectable testosterone, which is the only effect I've noticed.

yeah i was only on it for 15 days, then switched to codeine then switched to ibruprofen with codeine, so about 15 days all up i was on it for just before i got pregnant,

bit worried now, same headache i got last time i miscarried :( 7 days and il see bean cant come quick enough

I do want to mention that we're just talking about how these things might sway, I do not and never will recommend oxycodone for ANYONE for any reason other than pain relief in terminal illness or if other medications haven't worked for them for chronic severe pain. That stuff is addictive and has ruined quite a few people's lives. Doctors handed it out too freely and it has caused an epidemic of abuse in the US. Please no one read this thread and decide to start taking oxy for swaying. no-no

Headaches are super common in pregnancy. Please don't worry, it's hormones, that's all. :)

Heartbeat doesn't predict gender, it varies by gestation.

After I saw several people send Ramzi himself $10 to guess gender and he guessed wrong, I no longer buy into that one at all. :)

May 23rd, 2016, 10:52 PM
nope i dont believe heart rate either :) just saying there was one and was 127bpm considering last time there was none was nice to see it thumping away from the second i seen bean! yay!
i hope ramzi is wrong! hahahaha
