I mentioned this on another thread already but did you notice how few boys/kids in the family there really were?? I think that is really interesting because when people say "OMG my husband's family has not had any girls in 101 years" it sounds very negative and like you're doomed or something, but on closer inspection that is only 7 boys (at least in this family). It's really not that many in a row all things considered. In my family we had a run of 7 boys 1 girl over the span of like 20 years (and of course that girl could have just as easily been another boy or not existed at all and we'd never have known different), but then we turned around and had a bunch of girls in a row. I really think a lot of these are just quirks because people ahve so few children.

Now if they'd had 70 boys over 101 years then that's remarkable. 7 boys in 101 years not so much. :)
