I'm on CD21 and believe 1 DPO, will know more after the next 2 days of temps. This was my first cycle on femara and the latest I have ever gotten a +OPK. Helpfully my body was building some nice eggs. Will start testing on 9DPO.

Oooh that's exciting! Hope the femera works for you [emoji1360]
I don't temp, but will use opks just to estimate how close my attempts have been to ovulation. Last month one of my attempts fell on a really dark positive opk day, it was just as dark the next morning. So I assumed I had got in my attempt on target.
We ended up not doing more attempts after this, as I was convinced I had already ovulated.
Obviously went on to get a bfn so think I should have kept up with e4d attempts as may not have actually ovulated when I thought I had.
Anyway, this month I will continue with e4d attempts right up to AF!!

Hi ladies! Hope May is our month! I'm not sure where I am in my cycle I had mirena removed mid-april and haven't had a real AF since then. I'm doing opks but not temping. Trying for one attempt at +opk. I'm finding it harder to motivate with the diet now that we are actually trying. Which is crazy! I've been doing the diet a long time so it's definitely not time to slack now. I've gotta motivate! Good luck everyone!

Well ladies I went to the doc and had lab work done since I have been feeling like death and have yet to get AF (18 months pp which is 6 months longer than I have ever gone before)
Anyways I got my results andAnda so confused by them. My sex hormone binding globulin is sky high, way out of normal range, my testosterone is low, my progesterone is .2. Does anyone know what effect any of that has on my cycle???
Also my ferritin was so low it was undetectable which probably explains why I can barely make it 2 hrs without wanting to collapse from exhaustion and the dizzy spells, ect
Any insight you ladies have I would appreciate!!

Good luck this month everyone!
I'm on CD13 and started taking the norethindrone acetate pills (high dose progesterone only pills) on CD9. If they work, I should not ovulate or have a period this cycle. I'm still charting but the pills cause elevated temps which is why FF thinks I O'd on CD9. I'm just temping in order to see if I get a temp drop so I'll know if I should expect AF or not. I was on the progesterone only mini pill for 5 years after having DS2 and still O'd every month (confirmed by temps) and got AF right on time so I'm not that hopefull, but the doctor says these pills are a higher dose. I go back to the doctor in 5 weeks to see if my ovarian mass has shrunk.
I've been kind of sad and depressed for the past two weeks because my best friend had her baby girl last Saturday (I was her doula!) and even though I'm super excited for her and she deserves it so much after swaying and then having 3 miscarriages in a row, I'm still sad because she was my only friend with all boys and we used to talk about our GD together. Now she's on cloud 9 with her baby girl and I'm the only one out of our group of 5 best friends from high school that doesn't have a girl. I broke down crying several times and had two more heart to heart talks with DH and he's 100% not interested in having any more kids and wants me to just get over it and move on. It doesn't help that I'm turning 35 next month and always wanted to be done having kids by this point.

Aw, Essnce, I just want to give you a big hug! I'm hoping your DH has a change of heart. I know what you mean thinking you'd be done having kids by a certain age. I never would have thought I'd be TTCing 25 myself and here I am TTCing at 36!
I know how hard it must be to be supportive of your friend. My heart goes out to you!
I'm finally wanting a DD myself. Today, my DS1 had a birthday party to go to- a girl in his class. He is friends with two boys and three girls. We picked up a little girl to take to the party. She is a tomboy but girlie too. We hit it off. And then it happened. I want a DD of my own. Sigh.
So I've been awesome with exercise. I've been good with the diet. Time to get awesome with the diet. Hopefully I can get pregnant while nursing. It's happened before...

Oh gosh Essnce, I'm so sorry! Having GD is such a monster sometimes and it really doesn't help when it seems like everyone else has what you want. It's just not fair. :( You know we're all here for you whenever you need to vent. Big, big hugs!! I hope the progesterone med helps and you're able to get your iron problem corrected. Tfahn, I'm so bummed you didn't respond better to the Femara.but it's nice to be O buddies again, almost.
pinkin, I hope you O promptly so you can be ou O buddy too.
essnce, hugs! Your situation makes me so angry and sad. I can only imagine how YOU feel. I also wanted to be done having kids young, but here I am 35 with none.
As for me, I'm 4dpo today. I haven't been well the past 2 weeks AND I've been having all sorts of electronic failures (both my German cell phones and 2 different German SIM cards not working properly or at all - I've had endless problems with my cell phones the past 4 years, my tablet has been insanely slow and crashing a ton, and I haven't been able to use my laptop). I think it's all due to my aura/electromagnetic field. I've always burnt through watch and thermometer batteries crazy fast, and frequently short out light bulbs, and my mom made everything electronic around her malfunction. Must be genetic...
Bc I was feeling so bad and had no working cell phone I wasn't able to meet up with new donor. I Oed a day earlier than expected on CD16 (very early like 3am, I think). I did get attempts in on O-3 and O-1 from old donor. The 2nd attempt was 12 hours at most before I Oed though, so may have been too late. However, the volume of the 2nd batch was great (3.5nl) much better than the tiny amounts (just under 1ml) he produced last cycle after his first ejaculation. Not hopeful, but I don't really want a Jan baby anyway

Hi everyone I'm back. I was supposed to be skipping this cycle but at the last minute decided to have a half arsed go at it. I've oed earlier than I thought (during the night I suspect) but wasn't expecting to o until today. So my attempt ended up being best guess 24-36 hours prior to o. Dh said he didn't think he'd released since last cycles attempts 😮 so not hopeful but not unhappy either as I still have issues with the due date lol. Better a 5% chance than none at all though :) Looking forward to catching up on this thread and seeing where everyone is at. Sorry I went MIA, I'd uninstalled tapatalk and ff as I went through a pretty rough time following af and just couldn't deal with it all :( but have bounced back as always. Just wish I'd taken my clomid but hoping taking it last cycle still had some effect this cycle.

Xxforhubby I cant believe we are actually in a ttc cycle at the same time!! I will be following your chart closely! Any idea if o feels close? Going by your old charts you and assuming your cycles are reasonably back to normal you may o this week?
Tfahn very excited to see you oed!! Really hoping the femara has helped! Bring on 9dpo and testing time!
Good luck this cycle Jennypenny!! Good idea to continue with e4d the cycle long. When do you usually o?
Inforthree how are your opks looking? Hoping you get a pos opk really soon!
Pinkin - cycle buddies! 😚🙌
Jenren can you ring or see your doc again and take in a list of questions? Sorry I cant offer any input but I too would feel abit bamboozled with results. Let us know how it goes or if you get any further feedback.
Essnce hope to hear your ovarian mass has shrunk at next check up. Totally get your feelings about your best friends dd. You did a wonderful thing being her doula whilst having to deal with your own feelings. One of my closest friends delivered a baby girl in January, the same morning my miscarriage started and it was such an emotional ordeal. I was hoping your dh would come around :(
Maiden hi! Sorry you've been unwell and things didn't work out with your new donor for this cycle. However super excited you got two attempts in with old donor and I think your last attempt is realy good timing! From my understanding sperm takes 6-12 hours to capacite and if you oed 12 hours after a decent insemination (woohoo) then I think you've got a great shot! I'm with you about not feeling excited about a January baby and will ve happy to move onto next cycle. In saying that it would be wonderful to see you post a bfp! Can you post a link to your chart here and there?
Hope I've not missed anybody - good luck one and all!

As for me i didnt take clomid this month and for some reason i had no cm at all so i used a little preseed and had a big o after the deed so im hoping that may of helped me. I started taking a spoon full of robitussin yesterday morning i feel this month will be a write off with the lack of cm i just cant see how anything would of survived anyway on with the 2ww!.

Good luck madien, pdn, pinkin and everyone else in the tww!
I took my 1st clomid dose last night on cd4. I'm supposed to do 5-9 in the evenings but I decided to do 4-8 instead.
I will have a scan next Tuesday on cd 13. The nurse said I need to have the pregnyl trigger prescription filled but I said the dr was going to wait and see if I need it. I have always ovulated ok with clomid without a trigger so I'm not sure if there are any advantages? Do they increase the chance of conception?
I also don't want to pay $40 for the meds and then not have it be needed. Apparently not all pharmacies have it so I need to decide what to do.

I would probably be inclined to fill the script as a just in case?? I'd hate to find out its needed then not be able to find a chemist that has it or has to order it. But I always tend to go overboard on things *sigh (lol)

I have joined some fb groups but I don't have the same bond as I have got with you ladies. You have all been there throughout my journey. I'm now 6 weeks 1day
For the trigger I had to wait till the scan showed a 19mm egg before the prescribed the trigger. Which I don't think the nurse wanted to do because she wasn't sure if I had my sure yet because I had not done an opk for that day yet. I did once I got home and it was still negative so I took the trigger.

Glad your back maiden, I had missed your comments, it is so funny how you start to wonder about people when you dont hear from them in a while! welcome back pbn3. Good luck to everyone who is attempting. AF arrived last night, I could attempt this month but I am really avoiding starting, think next month will mean I would be on the diet longer and at the exercise longer. I am learning so much on the diet and exercise pages. I was snacking all over the place with out realising it, a cup of tea is a snack! Think June may be my month, but have to skip out July as I have two April babies already and dont want a third, plus they were both boys (not that that means anything). Everyone around me is having babies and of course they are all girls, I seem to be the only person i know who can produce boys! my sister in law is just married and I know she will have a girl, even though she is not pregnant yet, my friend is trying for a baby and I just know it will be a girl and my friend has just had her third girl, I mean 3! come on. Other friend her aunt has had her 8th girl, 8? Fingers crossed for all you lovely ladies x

Sorry af arrived Girlieplease :( its a really hard decision to make when swaying if you feel you've done enough or not, I didn't think a cup of tea would be considered a snack either! Unless you had more than a dash of milk? And get you about girls everywhere!! I had a pang of gd which I thought I was well past when at ds1's swimming lesson. I swear every mum there had a girl, some with pp's and it really struck home how much I would love a daughter if I was lucky enough to fall pregnant. I would also love and welcome another boy but it really stirred up some unwelcome feelings for me....

I think he decides based on the scan but I had a look at my previous monitored clomid cycles and my follicle was 16mm on cd13 1st time and 18.5mm on cd14 2nd time. Maybe I should just get the tigger prescription filled although I think they probably just want to use the trigger to make it seem like I can't do it on my own and need to pay for more monitored cycles.. haha I'm such a skeptic.

Good to see you again Pbn! As always, I have my FX for you! :)
Purple, I think the trigger is sometimes used to help the follicle mature depending on what's used as the trigger and it helps to release the egg in a timely manner. I was supposed to be doing Femara+trigger+IUI this month (I think the IUI was just thrown in as a money maker) and I think the RE wanted to do the HCG trigger since I O late on my own and she didn't want to risk me O'ing late even with meds. I was supposed to have the trigger done on CD13 which would have been a super early O for me. I think if you don't O late with the Clomid then the trigger wouldn't be necessary but then again maybe it wouldn't hurt to try it?
BR, good luck at your scan! I have mine tomorrow at 6 weeks. I had a nightmare last night about having a miscarriage so I think it's really on my mind...it's definitely a fear of mine. I'm both excited and very nervous about tomorrow. My tests are still really dark and I already got the 3+ result on the CB digital but I'm still anxious! I'm hoping to see my little nugget with a nice heartbeat and measuring right on.

Good too see you back Maiden and PBN, hopefully we can get some BFP's soon. FX
Crappy post O temps but still got my crosshairs this morning, I already feel like this cycle is a bust for me.
I got my +OPK bloodwork back and its disappointing. LH was the highest it has ever been at 63 (previous highest was 48), which necessarily isn't bad but my Estradiol was only 137. It should be around 200 per mature follicle so it really bummed me out this weekend. But I was just reading that the Femara could be the cause of the lower Estradiol number as its job is to keep your level very low, so I feel a little better about this cycle. Hopefully my temp jumps tomorrow.

Hi welcome back maiden and pbn3 , this is cycle 4 for me , 4 is a lucky number for me i think so hoping this will be my lucky cycle
But im rather confused with my opks! I really wish i could temp for accuracy but dont have a proper sleep pattern for it.
I got what i think was a +ve op on cd9 ?! And since then all ive had is almost +ve opks but not quite as dark as cd9. So im unsure if im gearing up to O or already have. Mmmm time will tell i suppose

My Ovulation Chart (http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/4a5f89)
Pbn3, I was pretty pleased about the much increased volume of the 2nd insemination. But I'm not getting my hopes up or anything. I'm so glad to hear you tried this month!
Purple, I think triggers are great, both for assuring timely O (Oing late in medicated cycles, even just CD17, can negatively affect egg quality, especially if you have any PCOS tendencies) and for boosting odds of conception hormonally, as well as improving the uterine lining. I'd totally get it if it's an option at all!
Girlie, since you got a girl without swaying you may not need to sway as hard as others...I think you would be fine to start TTC this cycle.
tfahn, the Femara should actually increase estrogen levels around the time of O/a few days before, but some women do react atypically. I think you are one of these given your late O and low post O temps on both Clomid and Femara. Maybe you do need injections, and a trigger shot. If all your smazing BDing doesn't do the trick this cycle!
Sharon, everyone has at least one mini LH surge about a week before O. I bet that is what your dark OPK picked up on CD9. When do you usually O?
sharon
May 2nd, 2016, 10:17 AM
Oh i didnt know that maiden, your right i bet i O later this week, i used to always O quite late anywhere between cd 21_26 but my cycles have gotten alot shorter for some reason and i now have between 25-28 days and have been Oing anywhere between cd 14+ 18, last month however was a very strange short cycle where i O'd on cd 13 and had an 8 day LP. So dont know whats going on with my cycles , i did try taking vit b6 last month so ive dropped that x

Thank Maiden I thought this as well but atomic said I unintentionally swayed pink, my dd was conceived a few weeks after we got married, I had dieted for a whole year for the wedding and was the lowest weight I have ever been, I walked the dog three times a day, so was at least an hour but not a fast pace, my diet was not le but I strictly ate 3 meals per day but would have had cereal for two meals. I am just concerned that I did sway for my dd and given am not at that weight, don't think I would ever get to that weight again, I have lost 6 stone since last April! It is just so hard to know, before I came to this site I just assumed I was lucky I got dd, I also assumed that I would have a second, now I realise that I definitely lived a blue sway lifestyle when I conceived both boys! Hope the changes I have made or enough! X

maiden i actually had some signs the previous few days, none now tho as my cm has went creamy/sticky. Its all a guessing game really tho isnt it because i dont temp so dont actually know if i have even ovd at all each month. I dont get strong ov cramps or anything tho, i usually just go by opks going strong positive and the lots of ewcm which goes creamy the day after i think i ov.
I didnt realise the b6 swayed pink until atomic told me to drop it, is the bcomplex not reccomended either ?

Girlieplease yes you were defo a very very pink sway lifestyle when you conceived your dd, so guessing your going to have to replicate that lifestyle as much as possible!

Good luck for your scan ksmom. Hoping to hear good news from you. Which I'm sure it will be. If I had not change the date mine would have been tomorrow too but I really want the best chance of seeing our little pip at sering a baby shape not just a little blip. so prosponed it for a week. But I have the same worries as you. It's real big on my mind this time never really thought about it beforw

Thank you! I'm only having the scan so early because the RE wants to make sure that my losses haven't been because of baby implanting in the wrong spot. Plus I just need the reassurance as soon as I can get it. If all goes well, I'll be switching from the RE to either an OB or midwife.

Girlie, just bc you had a strong unintentional sway when you conceived your DD doesn't necessarily mean you NEED to replicate that. Keep in mind there are many moms of all boys, 3+ oftentimes, who have always been thin and very active but still got boys. I'm not suggesting you shouldn't give it your all, just saying you don't know that you are that set for blue. Plus our bodies change over time, especially with multiple pregnancies. Anything you can do to sway pink will help!
Sharon, yes B6 and B vitsmins in general sway blue.

The RE called today since they just got my results from my +OPK bloodwork on Friday ( I can see it before them). They were really happy with my numbers, I was surprised they said that. So I asked about the Estradiol only being 137 and they said that they see low Estradiol numbers with Femara all the time and it's totally normal/fine. They said if I was on Clomid then that number would be too low and would need to be closer to 200. So I guess I'm not totally out this cycle after all. :) I go Friday for a Progesterone Level check, fingers crossed it's a good number and I don't have to have the supplement issue arise.

Good news on your results tfahn! Hope your prog comes back a nice number!
Sharon I've had almost positive opks as early as cd6 (in the past when I was a crazy tester lol) that faded right out then came back later a true positive (usually between cd11-13). Hope this happens for you, keep us updated! Oh and I've also had watery cm around cd8/9 that would turn creamy before turning fertile again.

Thanx pbn that keeps me hopeful that O has still to come, makes it hard tring to time bding around irregular cycles doesnt it. Meant to be doing E4D but doing alot of crazy shifts in work this week so itl be just when i can basicly but not more often than the 4 days unless my opk turns positive suddenly then ill just make sure we bd that night. Was really hoping to have hallen pregnant this month or next at latest :/

So today is cd7, I think the plan for the next couple month is just to see what happens. We will bd e2d using sperm meets egg plan and I am not even going to do opks this month just going to follow bd plan and listen to my body instead of stressing out. Taking 4mg of folic acid, but dropping baby aspirin, the Ob told me to take that much folic acid and to take baby aspirin but last BFP cycle I stopped taking it and got my BFP, though I understand he wants me to take it to reduce miscarriage possibility. I'm just trying to relax.

May 2nd, 2016, 09:11 PM
Signingmommy are you doing the actual SMEP or e2d cycle long? I'm only asking as you mentioned your not using opks and my understanding of smep is e2d from cd8 then dtd three days in a row at pos opk, skip a day then bd the following. What is it about opks that's stressful for you? Sorry I don't mean to sound so blunt with my questions. I just thought one of the main concepts of smep was that 3 day period at pos opk and even though I *think I know my own body and when its fertile/ovulating it often turns out not to be and the science (as in opks/temping) backs it up. I'm wondering if there is a less stressful opk you can try. Sorry again, I'm not trying to be a downer on your plan as I think its great!

Is cd18 or cd19 considered late? That is my usual with clomid.
Goodluck with the scan tomorrow!

Purple, technically CD17 or later is considered 'late' but different drs can have very different stances on what is considered late. I personally think you should be Oing before CD17 on Clomid, especially as you have PCOS tendencies as I recall. Did you see my comments on triggers earlier?
Sharon, I don't see a pic...
I had a big temp drop today. Yesterday when I temped my thermometer made a strange fast beeping sound which I think indicates critically low battery (digital therms always flash low batt for me, even with fresh batteries just put in). Then this morning I temped, got a very low temp (97.78, so just below cover line), temped again and got a slightly lower temp, then put in a new battery and got 98.2, which is still very low for me at 6dpo but a lot more reasonable. But since very early this am I've had a weird lower backache that almost feels like mild AF cramping, and just a half hour ago I started getting some sharp, shooting pains in what feels like my left ovary region, though I think I Oed from the right this cycle. I often get these intense ovarian likepains starting a few days before AF so combined with the almost cramps and big temp drop I think AF is going to come soon again, like last cycle if not earlier. I haven't had an 8 day LP in 6 months and I usually have a couple per year...so I'm due for one.

Sharon none of those opks in first pic (inc cd9) are positive IMO. You last pic is getting closer, I wouldn't be surprised if its a positive tomorrow or next day! Let us know how it goes and post all the pics you like that's what we are all here for :)
Edited to add: As an afterthought do you have pcos? This picture of lines like that on opks is ringing a memory from ages ago and I think at the time it was asked if the person had pcos? Sorry I hope I'm not throwing more confusion in here but this feels like dejavu iykwim :)

Purple, I'm sure doctor's opinions vary on this but my RE doesn't consider O to be late until CD21. My Feb. cycle I O'ed on cd17 and while it wasn't considered late, the only problem with it was it skewed my cd21 progesterone results. I think if you're O'ing around cd18 with Clomid and that's still earlier than when you'd O on your own, then I think it's fine.
Signingmommy, SMEP sounds like a great plan! Best of luck and baby dust!

Sharon - none of those look pos to me. Hope they will be soon!
Maiden that's interesting about short LP. I had a pos opk a week after I had mirena out and then I had spotting for three-ish days just over a week after the pos opk. I usually never have spotting. I wonder if it was short LP and light period. That would mean I'm about cycle day 7 now. Interesting.

Inforthree, does that mean you'd be 14dpo now if the spotting WASN'T AF? I wonder if maybe you never actually Oed and the spotting was breakthrough bleeding. But very light AFs after the Mirena are common too.
Sharon, it looks like you are still aways off from a pos OPK, though they can turn dark very suddenly. This cycle I had a light line that stayed the same for a week then BAM suddenly turned blaring positive the next day, and faded out a lot by the following day.

Yep that's the other possibility. I should have added I don't feel like AF is coming and BFN. I agree, maybe I never actually oed. I've been doing opks throughout and haven't had a second surge. Only time will tell! It's very strange for me to have spotting or breakthrough bleeds.
Sorry you think AF is on the way! Glad you're back, your comments are very helpful!

Sharon-- none of those are positive yet, but looks like it's getting close. I've definitely had super negatives one day, then blaring positives (test line darker than the control) the next day. What times are you testing? I usually do around 2pm and before bed when the lines are getting close to positive.

Thanks. He has told me that even my usual O time of cd30 isn't a problem other than it reducing the number of attempts I can get in. I'm not convinced as my last 2 conceived on cd30 were miscarriages but I will trust he knows what he is talking about. He is very experienced in fertility.
I would have thought you would just get the cd21 test done at 7dpo? That is what I have always done.
I'm actually curious to see if the metformin clomid combo makes a difference. Last time I stated metformin and took clomid cd6 to 10 and ovulated cd18. The 2 times I took it cd5 to 9 I ovulated cd19.

Hi everyone! I've been stalking the gender dreaming forums for a while and bought a plan for swaying girl but have not posted very much! We started our sway in December/January and I think all the supplements I was taking (B6 and Vitex) screwed up my cycle so I ended up with a short luteal phase. Even though I stopped them I continued to have be ovulating late, so I finally went to the Dr. and he prescribed me Clomid, which is perfect since it sways pink! [emoji178] I am starting the Clomid today and I am really hoping to get a BFP this month!

Feeling so happy yet worried at the same time what if it's not OK and how will I feel if it's a boy??? This is our last child had to talk ds into this so no way will he agree to a fourth. Purple, I haven't found/observed that specialists are more likely to prescribe Clomid CD5-9 at all. I think it's often drs /health professionals who are not up on the latest research (which shows higher odds of conception from CD3-7 vs 5-9, plus the importance of timely O on fertility meds in general), and those who are more conservative or set in their ways.
Jdd, welcome! I very, very strongly recommend you take your Clomid on CD3-7 instead, especially since you O late naturally. This is coming from a pharmacist and fellow late Oer + short LP who has taken Clomid.
XX, I see you attempted last night so good luck!
sharon, I would NOT jump to assuming you won't O merely bc your OPKs have been fkuctuating in darkness snd aren't yet positive on on CD14. True anov cycles are actually pretty rare. And remember swaying can make your surge/LH levels act differently and delay O. I myself got 2 days of lighter OPKs a few days before O, then an OPK as dark as before (the light line I'd had consistently before since I started testing on CD8) and then the next day I suddenly got a crazy dark pos OPK. So anything can happen, but you WILL ovulate eventually.
pinklady, good luck with your scan!
jenren, since deficiencies sway pink, and it can take a while to fully get your levels up, I wouldn't worry about necessary supplementation swaying blue. Especially as the deficiencies combined with your thyroid may indeed be negatively impacting your fertility. I hope you're in a healthier state soon.
My chart post O continues to be rocky and plagued by low temps. Even though my typical beautiful charts never mean anything, I still find this discouraging. At least i don't have my hopes up as much? I'm 8dpo.

Well I did it! After reflecting on things the past 3 weeks I made the decision to stop ttc. I have binned my clomid, repeat script and bw requests. I'm free!!!!!! I know there will be days I'll be sad and wonder and even regret but this is the right decision of that I am sure! I can't wait to finish this cycle and get on with my life!! I'm not even upset to be finishing on probably my least likely chance cycle yet. I'm actually relieved my odds are so small. Wow that feels good to say!!

Well done on making a decision. I think about the same thing but at the moment I can't bring myself to stop just yet. I'm thinking July/August which isn't really that far away.
I wish you all the best for the future enjoying your little family of 4.

Thanks Maiden! It was the generic brand and only cost $40 max for the two cycles worth I actaully filled lol (and used once) Otherwise I would've been happy to send your way. However I think popping the pills out of their pouch into the rubbish bin really helped with my thought process. As you know I've struggled for the last six months as to whether keep going or not and having the clomid in my cupboard (finally - to little to late) was really holding me back! I know I'll have days I'll regret it and I will alway long for a dd or even another dc! But I think now I can deal with the regret and I'm certainly not forking out another $200 to see my ob to write the same script 😂 I will always (unfortunately) wonder if my mc baby was a girl or boy but I will learn to live with that as well. I just wish me and dh were younger. That is my first in line sole regret - we waited five long years. But until you have kids its hard to know you'll regret this till later...I also wish I'd had fertility testing done far sooner (I had a check up prior to ttc and my lh and fsh were normal but didn't test amh). In any case I regret many things but I am so thankful I found this site! The support on here is amazing! I still cannot believe Taytum just had a boy!! I was three months into swaying when she got her lomg deserved bfp!! So for anyone reading this that doesnt conceive after 3-6 months - demand testing!!! Lie about how long you've been ttc but find a way to get tested! Especially if you're in your 30's!!! I stupidly waited and fell pregnant cycle 8 but miscarried and haven't had a look in since!! So please don't wait get the testing done if only for peace of mind :)

I'm glad you found peace in your decision PBN, wishing you luck in the upcoming milestones for DS#2. I would also agree with not waiting too long to have kids, I am totally kicking myself now. We we married for 15 years before we started trying, DH wanted kids but I was never on board and he really never pushed the topic too much. Luckily we had DD after only 3 months of trying. Now at 39 staring down 40 and a miscarriage 4 months ago I so wish we started having kids earlier.
I too have had thoughts of stopping TTC but I still have hope we will have another child, I really think DD deserves a sibling. Finding out my new insurance covers 4 IVF cycles has really lifted some of the time pressure I was feeling, even though IVF isn't a guarantee I feel like its my safety net. Not sure DH would be on board for IVF but that's another days worry.
AFM, nothing much going on. Had blood work taken this morning for a progesterone level check and should have the results in a few hours. Temps are lower in general this cycle for some reason, my post O temps seem low but they are still above coverline at 7DPO. Need to buy some FRER for testing on Sunday. When will you test Maiden?

No. My DH wouldn't consider it, and I'd rather put that money into remodeling our house to create a 4th bedroom and a 2 car garage in order to make room for our boys and another baby....if we're blessed to have another little life join us.

Sorry your progesterone is low tfahn. Will they get you to take anything to help?
I'm happy we didn't wait too long to try for our first. My mum wanted me to wait until I was 30 but we started trying a few months after our wedding and I was 27 (we lived together 4 years before the wedding). I had fertility issues even then so it was good we didn't wait.
Knowing I had fertility issues I still was convinced it wouldn't take that long the 3rd time but with 2 miscarriages and a long time between bfps it has been over a year now.

Pbn3, you sound very at peace with your decision. I really regret not starting TTC earlier/my past choices in my 20s.
Tfahn, I'm sorry about the low P levels, I was SO hoping Femara would help. I'm thrilled that IVF is an option though.
Jenny, very positive! I've never gotten such a dark line on those OPKs.
I won't be testing as I'm surely out. I just had a little spotting when wiping and that ALWAYS means AF foreme, plus I have a bit of AF back cramping, doubly bad. AF will probably be here Saturday night so less than 24 hrs. Basically identical to last cycle. My first cycle following Clomid mimicked my Clomid cycle too. I definitely feel the Clomid affects me for a cycle after. It will be interesting to see how this next natural cycle NOT immediately following a meducated cycle will be. Hopefully my O won't happen too much later.

Pinkin, I'd definitely love to take you up on that if you are able to get Femara! But I urge you to get pregnant first before getting rid of any meds.
Pbn3, I will definitely be trying to meet up with new donor but it probably won't be until next cycle, in June. I've not had a working phone for several weeks now and the only phone I want it backordered/out of stock here in Germany (Apple iphone SE).I don't feel comfortable traveling without a cell phone and you can only arrange so much by email.
Purple, I have one cycle of 50mg Clomid left. But I won't use it until I'm sure I can give new donor a try. Plus I think I need a longer break from Clomid given my short LP on it last month. There is also the issue of the extreme crippling side effects i get on Clomid...I think every 3rd cycle might be a better way for me to use it. I need to plan for being completely incapacitated for 2 weeks. Although I wonder if a higher dose would actually be better, as I was on a slightly lower dose my 2nd Clomid cycle, and had worse side effects for longer, plus the short LP.
Unless Clomid reset me somehow after the first cycle, I really think it does affect me for 2 cycles. Both times the cycle after I took Clomid I got crazy dark true positive OPKs which I never get otherwise.
I may be able to get some Femara via a friend who goes to Spain in August. Or maybe I'll feel up to going there myself before then.

BR, that would be awesome!
Tfahn, even though your post O temps are on the lower side, I think your pattern is very encouraging.
Jdd, what days you take Clomid doesn't seem to affect chance of multiples despite the myth. When I looked at the actual research there was no correlation. Dose does matter though.
My AF came...but today in the am! The last 3 or so cycles my AF has come late at night the previous day (once not even that late, like 5pm) which is not normal for me at all and is considered bad, linked to low fertility. But it came at exactly its usual time this morning instead of last night, so I'm very happy about that. I'm also happy about these 2 past cycles being a bit shorter, makes me feel like I have more time.

Any update from Pinklady? I'm hoping everything went well at her scan.
Thanks for thinking of me :) they cancelled it on me due to the sonographer being stuck in traffic. Had to reschedule for today but they scanned me and everything seemed fine, there was a heartbeat 145 beats per min which I listened to which was weird and it had developed to close to eight weeks so I must have ovulated really late in my cycle. I can't understand it but there it is. I'm just praying there is a pink princess in there although in my heart I feel it's other boy. I wasn't doing the diet really just exercise and other half was taking cranberry. I don't even think we got the timing right either as I didn't think at that point I hadn't ovulated as my test kit said it had already happened. I'm thrilled everything is ok because I was so worried it wasn't and I'm happy I could actually get a bfp but I'm really scared of feeling devastated if it's a boy as I know it's our last child and I have always always desperately wanted a little girl. Does that sound really bad? My best friend has just had another baby as well, a girl she's had a girl a boy and a girl and everywhere I turn people I know are having girl babies and banging on about them on Facebook and posting pictures of perfect pink princesses and how amazing it is to have a daughter.... This is one friend in particular and I really want it to be me. Sorry if that sounds all bitter I'm not I'm just a bit jealous I suppose.. Sounds sad that doesn't it :/

Pinklady I think you oed either cd28 or cd30 and got pregnant from your attempt that dh didn't release. My guess is some swimmers somehow got through whether through precum or just leakage and that would line up pretty close to your dating scan right? Assuming you added (the average)14 days prior to o and not the 28 or 30. I may be wrong as I can barely make out any numbers on your chart and when I try to zoom it goes super blurry :(

Great to hear your scan looks good!
You can defiantly can O cd20 or later. I have ovulated as later as cd47 but normally average cd30. Sometimes O just gets delayed for some reason, maybe sickness or stress. In my case it is due to having PCOS.
There is always a chance of a girl and you conceived with one attempt (we just don't know which one) so that increases the girl odds :)

Wow Congrats Pbn! I'm so excited for you and also feeling a little more excited about this cycle as I want to join you :) Sending you lots of sticky vibes!
I had a scan today and have a dominate follie of about 12-13 mm. It seems a bit smaller than I expected compared to other clomid cycles but they seemed to think it was fine. I have to go back Friday morning for another scan and also blood tests.

It's so great Pbn!!!! I knew it would happen. Praying for you to have a sticky little one. You let go and let God and it happened.
So this cycle is so funky. I too let go and am letting God. Like I said no opks, no stress, just bd and temping. Only thing is now my ovulation came early and my chart is all messed up. I had my temp spoke on cd12, could have cd 11 but the thermometer screwed up. FF says I o'd on cd9 but I think either cd10 or 11....or not at all.

Congratulations Pbn, fx for a nice sticky bean!!!!
Sorry I've been MIA. Needed some time out to clear my head. I'm certain I had another cp last month. I had a couple of very faint +'s but one was a clearblue blue die test so didn't think anything of it, figured it must have been a false +. The other one was a frer but it was so faint I thought I was imaging it until I looked at it again days later & there was a faint line there. Sorry for tmi but I had a heavier than normal AF & lots of big clots. I have only had AF like that the last cp I had. Anyway onto this cycle now. Currently cd9 & will probably o around cd17/18. We are going on holidays for a week in 11 days so that is keeping me positive & should help me relax when I'm in tww.

Hi ladies.
I had progesterone tested at 7dpo which came back at 48. I really thought i wouldn't get pregnant this month due to lack of cm. I didnt take clomid this month i did the previous 4 cycles and couldn't fall pregnant . I did a frer yesterday at 8dpo and saw a faint faint line. . This morning at 9dpo i had a line so i got hcg bloods done and they came back at 9! So i am indeed pregnant!! Going back for bloods on friday! Im still in shock.31187

Everything is great measuring 7weeks 6 days. I don't understand how they work out due dates though. By last lmp I calculated I'd be 7 weeks 3 days. When I told the nurse she said no I'd be 7weeks 5 days. Could see babies heart beating but couldn't get a read on how fast as doppler was not working.
I feel like I can take a huge sigh of relief

Did you calculate your due date from ovulation? I never use LMP as that assumes you ovulated on cd14. Anyway, better to be a few days ahead than behind! Looks great :)
Beautifulrainbow
May 11th, 2016, 07:14 AM
I did from lmp because I o'd cycle day 13 but my lp is 15 so would have made it a 28 day cycle. The nurse didn't ask when I o'd to work it out either just on lmp too. Don't understand. slightly gutted they took away my xmas due date.
