Just wondering how many have had, intentionally or otherwise, a boy with one attempt at positive opk or a one off bd around O?

I swayed boy and am 9 weeks pregnant :-) I'm reasonably happy with my sway as in the HE diet was a huge change for me and I did it for months before conception plus some weights and a small weight gain.
But it turned out we had one attempt right at ovulation. :worry:

Thanks

It's always possible! I have 1 dd and 2 ds. Diet and and 1 attempt (dd) multiple ds's. I find out this week what I'm having I swayed hard for pink w diet and 1 attempt at pos opk. So well see! Sounds like you have good success with diet!

Can I ask why you deleted all of your old posts?

It's absolutely possible, happens all the time. Diet and other lifestyle factors matter SO much more.

Most of the girl sway opposites on here are one attempt at O, so it's possible. Obviously it would have been better if you had DTD more, but you're still in with a chance if your diet was good.

Thanks for the reassurance all, it was one thing that was bugging me a bit. I know I need to just let it go and see what happens!

Everyone who tries to do Shettles and succeeded had that timing and number of attempts.

It is def. possible! We're just trying to maximize our odds.

Throwaway panther, I did that because I've become a bit shy/wary recently of posting identifying factors about my family. I have a few friends and family members whom I know could well end up googling ttc girl etc and I suddenly got a bit freaked out at being known! I know its unlikely but I recently deleted my old posts from here and IG and then just thought I would delete new ones as I went along after a little while. I really didn't think anyone would notice!! I would prefer if I could change my user name too but not sure how?
But that was the only reason.

While you are of course always welcome to delete posts it does mess up our threads and make them more confusing and hard to read.

If you message nuthinbutpink she can help with changing user names.

My first son was conceived accidentally by a single attempt on cd2 (when i thought i was safe, lol). I had a fairly boy-friendly diet.

Thanks for all the comments everyone, much appreciated. I can certainly see its more than possible, and, as I've always thought. diet and lifestyle are a very strong part of the sway. Fingers crossed for blue :-)

TaytumJ just had her boy, and since I just obsessed over her sway (lol) -- her DH was gone for a week before O and she had been worried about her ~2 attempts at O (O and O+1)

I'm working on a theory about LP and if it can sometimes hang on longer than it "should" and end up with these wacky seemingly impossible conceptions. I got my first son DTD right after AF ended, and while I am sure I had a long cutoff and probably Oed early, I am wondering if AF may come a day or two late and trick us sometimes into thinking we're safe when we aren't. I am noticing that lately (I'm in my mid-40's) my LP seems REALLY long and so I'm wondering what the deal is. Now tracking it...
