I'm really hoping someone see this today!! Yesterday day 15 of my cycle I got a smiley face on my clear blue ovulation test and 4 hours later no smiley face! We did one attempt last night. Well today I got another smiley face and my cheapie ovulation test is starting to get darker too.... Yesterday's cheapie was not positive at all that why I was surprised the clear blue digital was positive. Normally I ovulate day 18-19 and I haven't seen a temp shift yet.... My question is should we DTD again tonight or maybe tomorrow!? I'm just worried our one attempt was to early?! We really only have 2-3 months to get preggo ideally because of my DH work schedule. Both our boys we for the first month trying. But lots of sex. How much would 2 attempts in the fertile window lower our odds of a girl?!! I'm 90% sure I have not ovulated yet but with that positive test yesterday will may have done he one attempt to early??? Help please:)

If you're TTC girl, you're fine as you DTD the night before and they'll hang around for a few days. I'd not want to try again, certainly not within 4 days. Good luck! x

Sperm can survive for a while. I wouldn't DTD again before day19 in your shoes, because if you O today or tomorrow the sperm from yesterday will definitely still be around and have a good shot.
Check out the stats page, one attempt has very strong results for pink. You can always add more attempts in your second or third cycle if you're in a hurry to get pregnant, so you should give yourself a chance to try a single attempt this time around.

Ok thanks everyone!! I guess my gut is just saying try again tonight because I've had 2 pot ive ovulation tests today and then tonight a negative so I guess my surge is over now! With both my boys we had tons of BD. Does anyone know how much lower you chance if girl is if you BD twice durning your fertile time is?! I'm torn what to do tonight! I didn't seem to have a lot of EW yesterday more wet and today I've had more EW and the positive O test again so I believe tomorrow I will O but I'll have to see what happens with my temperatures! Thanks for the help.

Just to reassure you, I conceived this baby (well babies actually, they're twins) by DTD the day before I got my positive OPK.

Thanks for the input! We did not BD last night but today I've gotten another smiley face on my digital test and the line is super dark on my cheapie stick So am I having a long LH surge?! I'm feeling crampy and my temp hasn't shifted yet. We BD Friday and today Monday .... Should we BD tonight? Sorry so many questions I've never had a long surge like this before.

Totally agree with Erin. Wait until 19th to BD again.

It is a toss up in this situation because you only have 2-3 months. Normally I'd have you stick with one but the 2/3 month time frame, I can see wisdom in sneaking in another attempt.
I think Maiden means have an attempt on the 19th day of your cycle and not the 19th of May which would be quite some time from now. :)

We ended up try one more time last nigh which I know could sway a bit more blue. My ovulation test was positive still yesterday so 3 days of smiley face and negative today. No temp shift yet tho! I'm hoping that if I ovulate tomorrow (Wednesday) then Saturday attempt almost doesn't count haha! And maybe only out Monday attempt will count! If not we will try again next month! Not sure why I had such a long surge this month! Thanks for all the advice

Sometimes it just takes a little longer to clear out. Good luck and pink dust!
