I read in one of the posts that acidophilus tablets sway blue but I was just wondering does anyone know if keifir yoghurt also sway blue?? I'm planning on trying for my 4th and final in 4, weeks, I'm hoping and praying for a girl (have 3 boys) but I've being taking keifir because it helps with my excema and its the only thing that stops the itch. I normally take evening primrose oil but stopped completely when I saw it sways blue. Can anyone help, Atomic? Thanks

Kefir is fine for pink! Acidophilus capsules are MUCH higher dose and coated to make it through your stomach, unlike the good bacteria in kefir, yogurt etc that get broken down for the most part.

Thanks for your reply maiden, getting nervous now ... Attempt in 4 weeks!! I hope I'm brave enough to go through with it, my desire for a daughter is so strong so hopefully things go according to plan!!!! I'll keep taking the kefir so along with folic acid and fibre. The DH is on cranberry and licorice root and anti depressants and anti anxiety (unfortunately) for the last 6 mths.

:agree: exactly. Most probiotics in foods, while great for the upper digestive tract, are not effective in the lower (except slowly over time) because most of it is killed off by stomach acid.

If EPO helps you, I would consider adding it back in AF-O only. EPO only sways blue when you're taking Omega 3/DHA/fish oil in equal or greater amounts. When you're taking more EPO than "good" fats it actually sways pink. Fats are weird there is a kind of a balancing act with them.

I don't usually use LR/cran with those meds. If he's been on LR for 6 months it needs to go (I think you're saying the medication for 6 months but just want to be sure)

Oh sorry yes he's been on the meds for 6 mths but the LR and cranberry for maybe 4/6 wks! I'll go back on the EPO so, really helps with dryness of my skin!

So is it best he comes off the LR and epo all together? Is there a risk it could reduce his sperm production too much?

I also think DH should go off LR and you're fine to take EPO as suggested by atomic.

Good luck!

yes a real risk and I would have him drop them. Even just the medications alone have been too much for many guys.
