Is there any such thing as too much lemon water?

I've been.drinking 1 lemon a day in a bout 1.5 litres of water for about a year now. Is this harmful? Is it still boy friendly

That's fine! Good for a boy and the lemon counts as a serving of fruit if you have one whole one in a day.

It's no magic bullet, but I did drink a lot of lemonade around the time I conceived DS2. Like a lot, haha! I even put fresh squeezed lemon in my green tea in the morning and in my black tea in the afternoon. I knew nothing about swaying at the time, haha!

The problem with lemonade or carbonated lemon drinks (unless they're unsweetened) is that it's a lot of cals for the nutrients in it. Since the HE Diet can make you gain weight, it's best to make an effort to "spend" your calories on things that are getting you a lot of nutrients. It's not that you can never have lemonade, that's fine, but it's not the best way to spend your cals for the day.

If you're thining of something like lemon seltzer, I personally think that is fine for blue but would not count as a serv. of fruit (as it does if you use a whole lemon per day in water). The old school sway gurus thought those should be avoided though (I can't remember why???)

Does any citrus work or just lemon?

Are we talking about hot lemon water or chilled lemon water?

Personally, I think the hydration factor is what actually sways. The lemon was originally added by the "old school swayers" to "alkalinize" and allegedly any citrus will do this, because somehow citric acid somehow turns alkaline in the body. (I don't believe this aspect of it and acid-alkaline diets have been debunked, but since it is not harmful, I keep it in the mix and it's also an easy way to get a serving of fruit a day - if you use one whole lemon or lime in your water per day that counts as a serving of fruit.)

I believe that the old-schoolers think cold drinks sway blue for some reason - ions or soemthing like that. I think this kind of idea is nonsensical, that anyone could have a boy or a girl based on the temp of the foods or drinks they ingest but that's what they say.

I'd do what you guys like. I assure you I was drinking tons of hot drinks with all my boys.
