I've been on the le diet since February but have always aimed for the higher end of limits as I'm very active anyway and I'm doing cardio most days. Initially I lost weight and my bmi went from about 21.3 to 20.3. Anyway, I'm about midway through my cycle and either I've ov or I'm about to ov (lots of EWCM for the last week or so); I got on the scales yesterday and it said I'd put on 2lb?! This baffled me but I got on with my day as normal but I jumped on again today and I've gained ANOTHER lb?! I don't understand how/why I've gained weight suddenly when I'm eating as I always have been other than last night when I was sooooo hungry so went over my calories but remained in macro limits - mainly dried fruit. Could it be the dried fruit that's doing it as I've been eating at least one portion per day to satisfy my sweet tooth???

I just don't get it, my clothes are still loose, I look in the mirror and I'm still looking very lean; the only thing I have done differently over the last two days is cut out wheat?!

This is completely normal! This can happen and used to happen to me when I ovulated during my last sway. I don't notice it much now, but I wouldn't fret about it. It will come off once you have AF. I was told by by RE that this happens due to the increase in estrogen around ovulation. Some women are more sensitive to increases in estrogen during some cycles.

Sounds like temporary hormonal weight. It is very normal for you weight to fluctuate by up to 5lbs based on where you are in your cycle. I recommend to only compare weights from the same points in your cycle.

That's totally normal for weight to fluctuate a bit like that. Even up to 5 lbs is not "real" weight gain but often water and fluid around O and in the LP.

You have to eat like 3500 cals above what your body has burned to gain a pound so I find it very unlikely you've eaten 10,000 extra cals in only a few days.

I don't want you to worry about your weight at that BMI anyway. You're in girl range and there is no evidence that these fluctuations do anything for a sway - lots of people have gained a smidge like that before TTC and still gotten girls.
