Anyone had morning sickness with one pregnancy but not another? I had it with DS1 and DS2 but this time (I'm 7.5 weeks), other than a little nausea I really have no MS. I can't help but be a little paranoid about it. I just sorta assumed that because I've had it before, I'd have it this time too. With DS1 I was nauseous all. the. time. and threw up at least once a day and with DS2 I threw up several times a day plus I had migraines+vertigo (fun times! lol). It's just so weird not having it this time. I'm thankful I'm not hanging my head over the toilet all day long but I figured I'd be dealing with it right now.

I had barely any with DS 2 and DD. Sick as ---- with the other three. With my first I barfed every day and then when DS 2 came along and I wasn't yakking I was like "oh I guess that was a first pregnancy thing" but then DS 3 proved that notion wrong!! He also gave me horrific migraines (he was a handful even from the second of conception LOL)

I've just been mentally preparing myself for feeling crappy basically since I found out I was pregnant. lol It's weird but nice to not be sick. BTW that's such a pretty picture of your daughter!

Faithinpink, oh gosh that would be awful!! A friend of mine was nauseous throughout her entire pregnancy with her first son. She never threw up but I know by the end she was fed up with feeling sick. My morning sickness with DS2 never went away completely until I was about 5 months along but to have it the entire pregnancy, I can't imagine!

I have none :) trust me I don't want it haha I'm 9 weeks now so pretty much won't get it. I only felt sick maybe once or twice and had an awful taste in my mouth that gotten better.
I wasn't sick with dd or DS number 2 either

Good to know I'm not alone! I've also had that weird taste in my mouth. I'm not sure what it is but I usually end up brushing my teeth in the afternoon to help with it.

the bad taste in mouth is normal.
My mom never had one bit of morning sickness. "It's totally psychological" she said to me on many occasions. (NO IT ISN'T) She also never had heartburn or constipation/hemmorhoids or anything other than varicose veins. :/ I never got bad varicose veins but did have all the other stuff. different for everyone all the time!!!

How can anyone say it's psychological?! I guess all that violent vomiting I did with DS2 was just in my head. lol It's definitely very, very real. I remember crying, begging for some sort of relief. I was miserable! I think sometimes people just forget what it's really like to be pregnant, have a baby, etc. If you asked my mom, I was the perfect baby/toddler and it was all rainbows and unicorns. :p I think at some point many people look back and only remember the good about those times.

This was actually when she was herself pregnant and I was a young teen. Because she never had it, so I think looking around at other people who did, it was probably confusing to her. It was a different time and many things were passed off as being "women are hysterical" kinds of things just as a matter of fact (like menstrual cramps, ovulation pain, PMS - all that was said by doctors to be totally in women's minds because we're all ka-razy nutcases trying to get attention, and this was in my lifetime even I remember "experts" on TV shows saying them). She doesn't think that any more of course now that we all had it with the grandkidz.

Didn't really have nausea with ds1 but had it with ds2 and this baby (team green bad). I've never vomited once during pregnancy but felt absolutely horrible from 5.5-10 weeks. Never had heartburn or hemroids ever in my life.
I still go by the every pregnancy is different. And I do think we look too hard for signs of gender.

May I ask when did your ms begin with your boys? I just tried to sway for some blue, and have not gotten my BFP yet, but hoping for it soon. Ive been having headaches and some other things going on. Any who with my 4 girls the first 3 I was throwing up 5 to 8 times a day could not hold any food down the whole 9 months, with my last girl only throw up once but just wanted to lay down first 3 months.

I got it with DS1 just before 6 weeks and it lasted until 16 weeks. With DS2 it started right around 6 weeks and didn't subside completely until around 20-21 weeks. I threw up A LOT with DS2 but with DS1 it was mostly the terrible all day nausea.

I have found that magnesium eliminated all my morning sickness. I didn't take it with either of my boys and was horribly sick. With my girl, I was taking a little magnesium to help with insulin resistance and blood sugar during my sway, and I had heard that taking it during pregnancy prevents morning sickness. So when I got my BFP with my daughter, I started taking a lot of magnesium in the form of a brand called natural calm, and I also ate a lot of protein and healthy fat every few hours. I not only had ZERO morning sickness but I also didn't have the massive weight gain I did with my boys from eating so many carbs.
