I've started power walking for 60 min and while listening to Joyce Meyer on YouTube. She is a Christian motivational speaker, and quite funny. Most of her talks are about 45-60 min which makes the hour pass quickly! Listening to something other than music helps keep me going! Also- it relaxes my mind which us blue moms that are swaying pink definitely need!

Rain must be coming my way, gone grey! I did an hour at the gym, have been eating before going and it makes it much easier to do. Will try and do the gym before food though the week of our attempt.

I went to the indoor playground with the boys today to do my walk. There is a nice indoor track there, and I did my walk wearing DS3 so he could nap.
9 day stretch and counting it looks like. I'm 13 DPO today with a huge temp rise this morning. I'll test in a couple of days. I'm trying not to get my hopes up...

Hi girls, hope everyone is well? Eek! Frilly Lady, your first attempt! Exciting stuff! We had our first attempt yesterday. I've felt really rotten all day today with stomach cramps so haven't exercised. Is that a bad thing from a swaying point of view? Am I blowing my chances of girl by having a day off? Oh the panic!!

Thanks chocolate...I hope you're right!! Reckon we've gone too early this time. First attempt on first flashing smiley, CB for anyone using those. I'm now on day 3 of flashing smiley, so no peak yet. So desperate to see that still smiley! My body gives me no ovulation clues so I'm keen to know if I'm ovulating (whilst trying to stay calm, maintain my inner zen ;-) ) !!
Need to get back on the exercise this morning after yesterdays skiving!
Happy exercising ladies, sparkly pink dust to all!

Hey Frilly, thanks for info re.flashing smileys. I've only just started using them- about £100 for 60 tests urgh! But cheaper than high tech! Am I supposed to dtd on flashing smiley or still smiley? Gonna need to be super (pink!) spermies to last this long until ovulation!!
I'm not doing e4d are you? I'm gonna revert to that if no joy after using 60 tests! Loads of luck for your attempt, how you feeling about things?
I managed an hours cardio this morning so back on board! Just been feeling so rough this week with terrible tummy cramps.
Hope everyone else has managed their 60 today xx

OMG 3... are you me?!! Exactly what you said! Are you in the 2ww? I'm dead achey, legs, hips, tummy. Have you had an attempt this cycle? How long have you been going? I've been doing LE and exercise since first week of January and have lost 2 stone so lowest adult weight now. Do you think the regime is taking its toll on us?

May 18th, 2016, 12:25 PM
No GlitterMouse I'm not doing e4d just once when I get a positive test. I use a Clearblue monitor which shows the same sort if thing as the smiley face, I get a low, medium which is the same as a flashing face and then a picture of an egg which would be your still smiley face and that's when I dtd. I'm also using some cheap tests from Amazon that can be used throughout the day and they pick my o up much better! Like you I will do e4d further down the line if needs be. I'm feeling a little apprehensive about our first try but also just want to get started now.
Did my hour of cardio today, I've started to listen to audio books when I'm on the treadmill which makes the time fly as I'm concentrating on the story.

You're all doing great ladies. I did my 60min of cardio today and I'm taking tomorrow off. My DS2 has a check-up and I have to have my vitamin D levels checked again.
I just got a faint BFP yesterday. I can't believe it! It's kinda funny- you can read my post in the May 2ww thread if you're curious.
I'll still exercise, since I don't want to gain too much weight, and I don't want to get GD or pre-eclampsia as I'm 36.
I can't stop laughing. My DH is going to FREAK out, haha!

Yes glitter I dtd on the static smiley face. The flashing face is detecting your rising fertility the static means it's detected your o coming. The sticks from Amazon are called one step ovulation tests, they're really cheap to buy so it doesn't matter how many I use through the the day and I can really see the line getting darker then fading out again. Well I've taken today as a day off after 6 days straight of cardio, although we did an hour and s half of walking this morning, I don't think it will count as wasn't particularly exerting for me but I did try to make it harder by wearing a biggish rucksack. Af has well and truly got me today making it a 26 day cycle, 2nd af from POP so that's positive. We are away for a few days the week after next so I'm not going to be able to go running/gym, may take a dvd to do in the evenings before a glass of wine!!!x

I did start with opks I struggled to get a positive one. on the month I went with fsh injections i did not test using opk Until the evening I was going to going to take the trigger shot to makes sure I had not had the lh surge. We did do e4d plus and extra one on o morning because we really wanted to catch the egg.
I should be having a scan in the next 3 weeks maybe I can get a nub shot. I will have a gender scan in 7weeks hopefully. So I will let you know how my sway went.
I have had 2 gender dreams I really hope they are right! The only other time I had a gender dream was with my 2nd son and it was correct!
Have you had any attempts yet?

Hello girls. Summer vacacion is approaching and I have started to worry about how I can manage swaying (especially the 6 days exersicing) while on holiday. We are going to Spain and France for almost 3 weeks and I won't be able to do the cardio-regime while I am away. I think I will be able to stick to the no snacking rule, zero alcohol 2 weeks after O until AF and be in the limits of LE diet (thank god I can drink wine, eat a lot of shell fish and icecream), but I am afraid that reducing cardio will ruin my sway. Any tips on how to manage swaying while on holiday?

May 27th, 2016, 03:37 AM
Goodness not sure, how about walking fast pace for an hour or get a portable dvd player and bring a exercise dvd with you? I think doing nothing, couch potato sways pink as well? But may be if your on holidays and out and about that may violate the couch potato rule and sway blue. Am sure the other ladies will have some ideas, I would try to keep the exercise up if at all possible, when are you attempting dreamsister?

I agree maybe a dvd or hire a bike if you can and go for a ride? Luckily where we are going next week has a gym so going to make myself go.
Back to the gym today, had about 5 days off I think! Also back to taking met as I stopped it for a bit as just needed a break from feeling so low in energy. Going away next week though so really hope I don't feel rough again, may have to add in an extra snack or meal if I do feel rubbish and then drop that when I get a positive opk. On day 2 of my cycle and praying for an early ovulation instead of day 18 as that feels ages away :-(

My first attempt was Monday this week. My lining is very thin so I am not very optimistic. I had two good eggs (took Clomid), but according to my doctor they won't stick because of poor lining. I have now added more fat to my diet, cause I want to gain some weight to fix the lining for next attempt in June.

I did get a BFN yesterday morning with FMU. I also had a bit of pink CM for a spell yesterday and a bit earlier today. I thought AF was coming but hasn't yet. I'm not too sure what's going on at the moment.
If AF isn't in full force by Saturday, I'll test again. My DH thinks it's implantation but I'm not so sure. He admitted that he really wants another baby.

Hello ladies. I'm joining you from the HT threads as we've had two BFNs after transfer. So back to swaying for me. Last sway I did was an opposite unfortunately (although so far he's been my easiest) so I know about the LE diet but I did zero exercise last time so thought I'd go for the pink full-on exercise this time. Any tips? Five days a week I walk two miles to and from school taking about 40mins I guess, which I could increase the speed of. If I add 20-30 mins of cardio in the form of dancing to an Xbox game, is that enough? Thanks

Welcome Weezie! Whatever you decide to do for cardio is fine as long as it is for 60 min without any breaks in between for ideally 6-7 days a week. Atomic has said results are still good with 4-5 days a week. You don't necessarily have to increase your speed but just make sure it's for 60min straight at least.
FX and GL to you!

Ok so 60 mins in one go? So I'll need to do my Xbox dancing just before my second school run and increase it to 40 mins making 60mins in one lump?

Yes it must be 60mins in one lump, so if you go for a 40min walk spend 20-25mins dancing before you leave :)

That is how I do it. I get up at 5 am, do 30 min of dance/fittness-video on YouTube (normally Bipasha Basu or Paul Eugene) and right after jump into my shoes, grab my dog and run out into the forest, where I walk for 30 min. I love this routine. Actually typing this while I walk in the forest surrounded by besutifull grean and birds singing. A wonderfull start of the day.

Not sure when we'll TTC yet as I don't know when I'll get my first cycle after my failed HT. I'm expecting one in July maybe so August would probably be the first time we could try. Also LE diet starts today so that would give me a few months on that too

Hi girls, thought I'd check in. Sounds like everyone is doing great!
Hows it going beautifulrainbow? How have you been feeling? I've been away for a bit, just wondering if I've missed any of your news? Any nub shots yet?
I'm doing *ok* at the mo. Went away last week, exercise was HARD to keep up with the inlaws and the kids about. Diet also not brilliant but stayed the same weight and didn't gain. Really in a conundrum about whether to go for our second attempt this weekend. My diet choices and exercise have been the poorest ever this week since I started swaying in January. Will my body, that just loves to conceive and carry baby boys, think wahaaay finally some decent grub, let's get that boy happily bedded in?
grrr really annoyed with myself after so much dedication for soooo long!
Whinge over...off to the treadmill!!

I think I've resided myself to having another baby whatever so every now and then I question whether it's the "right" thing to do with the boys getting older, to go back to babies etc, should I just be thankful for what I have and enjoy the life we have together, especially as things get easier?! I've put so much into ttc pink though, huge lifestyle changes etc. I guess everyone has doubts at some point or other?!x

Glittermouse I am having a very similar dilemma to yours, we had a large family celebration at the weekend, although I kept up with the exercise my diet was really poor, am suppose to be attempting this week but getting nervous, have decided to go for it as you always have a shot at pink anyway and there seems to be something that crops up every month, were I go, this month could be better and put off, this has been happening since March fir me. I also am mindful that it may take some months to conceive, especially with one attempt, though I conceived ds2 with one attempt. I think the longer I go on this diet the more things might start to slip, so am going for it, come what Jay!

Going to post separately about this but thought I would ask here as well, coming up to my attempt in a few days I have been reading lots on this site to see if could tighten up my sway, I just read that for pink sway we are trying not to build muscle. Now am worried, I do a cardio workout dvd three times per week, some of that involves using dumb bells, I think it is to add weight to help burn more calories, now concerned that this might build muscle? Am u swaying blue with this one hour cardio burn? Given how little I have eaten today, I doubt I could build muscle but some days I have been over my levels and exercised? Any advice? Am planning first attempt in a few days, should I push attempt back? Thanks
XXforhubby
June 7th, 2016, 06:27 PM
Is the DVD you do 60min? If so, it might not be so bad especially if you're using light weights.
I will tell you though, I did something similar and had my DS3. I also thought my diet wasn't the greatest then either- snacked a few more times than I should have, went over on protein/fat than I should have, etc. However, it took me 9 months and 10 cycles to get my BFP. I probably needed all those cheats to conceive, yk?
That being said, it may take you longer than this one time to conceive. I personally would forge ahead and maybe jump and dump afterward since you're worried about things.

Thanks xxforhubby, I am using two tins because I don't have dumb bells, it is an hour in length the dvd. Was it a cardio dvd you did? Am really not sure what to do, I don't get the whole jump and dump? I think with one attempt in the fertile window and j @ d I may be significantly cutting my odds of conceiving. I am case what would be the advantage of adding J and d? To make it unlikely I would get pregnant? Thanks for your help
XXforhubby
June 7th, 2016, 07:11 PM
Yeah, since you're nervous about things the J and D would kinda make it a tad harder to conceive. To do J and D, I always just get up to go to the bathroom right afterward and wipe the excess off. I don't do a crazy purge like it's meant to. I have never had problems conceiving doing the way I described.

Thanks everyone, I did a 7 mile run yesterday and just cannot seem to face it today. See how I feel later! Am nervous about it as it's the only aspect of my sway that has been tight.
When is your scan br? Am so with you 3 sacharm, getting fed up with the diet and exercise routine, the no snacking is so difficult, I went to a group I go to and they had beautiful food and I could not eat any of it, because of the type of food and because I had already had my two meals. Met the same ladies last night fir a party and again am not eating, I felt like a freak. It is one of the reasons I decided to attempt in June despite concerns over my diet, I think the longer this goes on the more am going to move away from ideal, so diet will get looser, exercise as well. I find it hard that I am doing so much and will probably still have a boy and others seem to get girl after girl with little or no effort that am aware of x

Af still has not arrived, and it is due today but it was arrived late on many many occasions. I just feel crampy and no pregnancy symptoms at all, with all three previous pregnancies ( 1 girl 2 boys) I had very definite pregnancy symptoms in particular peeing frequently, sore boobs, discharge ( sorry for tmi), tiredness and very weepy. Have none of the above, my temperatures are remaining high but apparently that is not reliable.
I kept up with the exercise as I think one of the other ladies on this site ( called Maiden) told me it helped with implantation so I thought great, diet has gone a bit to pot but once af arrives I will tighten it up again, keep your fingers crossed for me as am not out until af arrives, now 6 mile run before first meal of the day! Ooooo what are your symptoms glittermouse??? I'm trying not to symptom spot as logistically, I think it would have been nigh impossible to have caught this month as missed e4d twice around what I *thought* would have been my fertile time and only made e5d instead... Ha! Well, 3'sacharm, let me start by saying I'm 99% sure I'm not PG... but you just never know eh? I'm also trying to avoid symptom spotting. When trying to conceive my first son, I found it to be the cruelest thing as I never, ever was pregnant, even though I'd built myself up to believe so.
However, the symptoms this month have 'spotted me' and I wish they'd go away! They're confusing me and I have been able to largely attribute them to other things so I just don't know. I am also desperate for TTC-ing, LE and exercise to be over with so am sure it's all wishful thinking!! 'Symptoms' have included; one spot of bright red blood in pants, horrendous nausea lasting whole days, gagging upon waking, motion sickness.
Re. your ewcm. I've read today that it can be an early sign of pregnancy???? fingers crossed!

Girlieplease I really hope its the month for you, Id had enough by this month and we went on holiday and was gutted I couldn't enjoy nice food.
I tend to not do the exercise every day in the 2ww as I just need a break from it at some point.
I used a very sensitive 10hcg test which is probably why I got a positive at 10dpo.
We ended up doing a 2 or 3 day cut off as ended up having 3 or 4 days of positive opks!

So on my 3rd week of exercise, which is just brisk walking for 60 mins every day- (with my 2yr old) This am the weather was horrendous so i attempted a cardio dvd which my toddler was having none of! So i had to stop after 7 minutes!! I might try pick it up again this evening when he is asleep! Aarg! I have not lost nor put on weight since i started LE in Feb, my weight has remained the same. How long did it take you guys to start shifting the weight whilst exercising? Im a little concerned that im ttc July and my exercise has been pretty dismal!

Are you on the normal LE diet or the pcos one? If the former yoy might need to read up on the pcos one as I've done LE three times now, aiming for 1600 cals, and always lost weight every week! And I wasn't exercising though so as I'm doing the 60mins this time I'm aiming for 1700. I've been on it two weeks and have lost three pounds even with a cheat day.

Chocolate I have been wondering this,I am keen to eat differently, I would be so devastated to have a chemical or a miscarriage, with the chemical it happens pretty soon so I think there would not be enough time to do any real damage diet wise. With a miscarriage, swaying after a miscarriage sways pink so I wondered if that would override the damage done with a more relaxed diet? People start prenatal as soon as they get a bfp so I think some looseness in diet and exercise should be OK? Thoughts anyone? X

I remember that too well! Starting LE while BF DS3 was a bad choice for me as I weaned him two months in and four months later I still hadn't had a period! So had to drop the diet to get my cycles back, then go on LE again!!

How has your exercise been going, ladies?
My week got off to a bad start. The only time I can work out is on my lunch break because my kids make it impossible to get an uninterrupted hour at home. Monday I was stuck in court all morning and missed lunch. Tuesday a friend from out of town wanted to grab lunch. Today I should be able to go to the gym, but tomorrow is a lunch for a colleague going on pat leave. I'm thinking I might have to start biking home from work just to have a fall-back plan for days like those. Montreal has a rent-a-bike program so I could just bike one-way on days that I need the hour.

Not sure how I'll get it in today as my MIL is visiting. Maybe she'll be up for a walk with our dogs...

Hello ladies. I am back in this thread after two weeks without exersice. I have been pregnant but unfortunately the embryo did not grow so here I am back to square one. I am currently waiting for MC-bleed to begin but it can take up to two weeks because my HCG-level is still quite high. I feels like ages since I have had my running shoes on. It has been a relief not to have to do 6 times cardio a week. I now realise how big effort it actually is and what a puzzle it is to fit in 60 fucking minutes six days a week besides a full time job, 3 kids and a big house. I am not sure I will be able to do six a week this time so I will aim for 4 times a week and cross my fingers that this is enough to sway pink. Happy that I have you to keep me motivated.

Sorry to hear Dreamsister. I agree, it is such hard work to fit 6x60 mins in between three small kids, school commitments, work and heaps of housework. I totally get it, I've only been doing the exercise for 3 weeks and it's a serious juggle. 60 mins is a really long time! On the weekends when my husband can mind the kids I go for a walk/run (I do about 8kms, 3-4 of that is running), but being winter here in Australia it is really dark in the morning and night so that isn't an option during the week. I bought a cheap exercise bike and I get up at 5:30am and do 30 mins on the bike, and then a 30 min work out video on YouTube (I love Les Mills Body Combat) a few times a week, and then I'll try to go once a week to a cardio class run by mums who have a child minding facility. And then there are just days when I don't get time to exercise because that's just life.

I find exercise not too bad to fit in but like you dream sister I let it slide a bit in 2 ww and then when I had to get back to it, I was like how on earth? I actually find the diet more tricky am either way under or just over on mostly protein. I just have to eat very little of what my family eat or make a different menu for me, which I cannot be bothered with. Welcome back dreamsister, sorry your in this position, but I think having a miscarriage sways pink, so that may outweigh the slips you had with diet and exercise, I really hope so and your rainbow pink baby is coming! Agreed, the exercise is hard to fit in around work, kids, and life. I try to go on my lunch hour or bike home from work because there is no way I can fit it in once I'm home. My kids still wake up during the night and I swear it's like they have sixth sense when I'm trying to get something done, that's the exact moment they start yelling "mamaaaaa!" :-/

Anyone else smell like a strong ammonia scent after they workout? I never used to do 60 min of cardio and it's nothing anyone else can smell, like its on the inside of my nose! I did some research and it looks to be like the by product of fat burn. (Can I get a hell yeah?) but is this ok? I don't want to be causing crazy chemical reactions in my body that might not be healthy! Anyone experienced this? It goes away after 5-10 min. And o only smell it once I stop working out. So weird!

Am still on the wagon, doing well with the exercise but diet not so great past two days as I have been away. Could not skip breakfast yesterday so did not eat anything from 9 am until dinner at 7:30pm, unfortunately slightly over my fat allowance. On Sunday, I skipped breakfast and had a small lunch and a dinner, way over fat, calories and slightly over protein. I think today will ve like yesterday, it is so hard when your out of your environment and my mum is with us and just obsessing about my weight loss and my not eating! I got high fertility on cb monitor yesterday, waiting for positive OPK / peak on fertility monitor for my attempt. Also had a temp increase this morning, so seeks body is gearing up for o, not ideal with my diet last few days but hope I have done enough before then! Good luck everyone x

This is my 6th week of exercise. I'm amazed to say that I've been able to keep up with it 5-6 times a week so far. I alternate between walk/runs (I walk about 4km, run about 4km), stationary bike, you tube exercise classes and the occasional gym class. Ok, so I'm new to these forums. I just ran 3.5 miles in 1 hour the other night! I hated every second of it. I have been strength training using 21 day fix extreme so running is new to me, but I will do what I need to do for a baby girl. I was wondering, do you think it's ok if I run for 30 min and then walk briskly for 30 min? I had a migraine by the end of that run! I think it was low potassium and sodium mixed with over-doing it!
Or maybe I could do 5 min of running and then 5 min of brisk walking back and forth for 60 min. Thoughts on this? My body just isn't conditioned to run for an hour. Or does it need to be a high heart rate at the same level of intensity the whole time?
I'd love some direction in this! Thank you!

Dmaz4 I think as long as your heart rate is raised for 60 mind that counts, some people walk briskly for 60 mins and that counts, I do a dvd sometimes and part of the hour is my warm up but I count that as it is raising my heart rate. Welcome on board, am struggling with the diet and exercise a bit, this is month four of cardio 6 days per week on the up side my body looks fab and am now a healthy weight for my height! This is exactly what I do so I hope it's OK! I go down to the local track and I run 200m, walk 200m for 8km. My heart rate is up the whole time and I'm sweating lots so I figure that's good enough. I asked ages ago and was told that it's not the intensity that matters so much but the length of time you do it (has to be 60 mins).

Thanks so much for the feedback Girlieplease!! I feel so much better about this now! I wore myself out the other night and then felt defeated before even starting last night which resulted in depression and then not jogging at all!! I plan on trying again tonight at a less intense level. I think I'll do the 5 min jog followed by 5 min brisk walk for an hour. That's doable. :cheer:
I was planning on doing Turbofire (it's cardio kickboxing and dance combined) and then read that that's no good either! So I guess I'll just do plain jogging on a treadmill. lol.
We are having a rather short sway. It will be a total of 5-6 weeks of pretty strict swaying before we attempt in early August. Ha! So we'll see. I am pretty strict on the diet right now. I'm doing pretty good with it I think. When will you be attempting?

Am currently cd 12, I usually o around day 12 - 15, though last month it was day 20. Feel my body is gearing up for o, have high fertility on clearblue monitor and an increase in temp. So maybe attempting in a few days. I had a few not great days with the diet Sunday, Monday, Tuesday but exercise been better. Had our first attempt last month but obviously unsuccessful despite good timing, good luck!

Girlieplease, i read somewhere on here that any type of kickboxing could raise testosterone! So that ruled out Turbofire. :tissue:

I've no idea what day I'm on. I've not had a bleed since my transfer didn't stick back in May! I'm hoping to see AF soon so I've some idea of timing!
I ran out of time to exercise today, only fitting in 45mins dancing but then walked as fast as I could for 10/15 mins pushing a buggy to school, so that should be enough. Over-ate a little as I hosted a dinner party of Indian food but I only had a spoonful of my chicken curry "to test It", I mostly ate veggie korma and mushroom saag, chapati, poppadoms and Mango chutney. Plus a spoonful of the chocolate mousse I made :-)

Hello cardio-ladies. How are you all doing? I am back at this thread after one month without exersice. I have been diagnosed with missed abortion. Very enoying to have all these symptoms or hunger, fatigue, sore breasts, but no foetus or baby to show for. I have now started exercising again while I am waiting on a natural abortion. I think my HCG-level is still high. Last Friday it was around 45.000 so it will take some while before it decreases to zero. My tummy is still huge compared to before BFP and my weight is 52 kilo (used to be 47 kilo), so I am eager to get back to shape, get back on track with LE diet and start TTC again. I feel that I lost one months for nothing. I am now on holiday in Spain but manage to do my daily one hour of cardio in front of the laptop in our apartment while DH sleep and my boys watch iPad. They think I am crazy, LOL. The good thing about my missed abortion is that I can now enjoy nice Spanish white wine together with DH. Hope you are all doing great.

Pretty tired at the end but I only start feeling like that probably in the last 20 min. I wonder if that is considered intense.

Really sorry to hear that dreamsister, let's hope you get your bfp very soon and enjoy your glass or two of wine.
Well done 3sacharm I don't seem to ever go any further than 7k! Enjoy your weekend and at least you can have a drink.
Helpfullmummy I do half run and half speed walk at the same speed on my treadmill and it seems to be a good routine for me as I have a very physical job. The best time of day for me is early afternoon, if I attempt it in the mornings I find it very hard and I'm shattered for the rest of the day. I'm so not a morning person!
I'm the same, I do a half run/half walk about 3 days a week and I tend to do between 7-8kms.
For the rest of the week I may do one cardio class at the gym, and a few exercise bike sessions at home. The exercise bike sessions are not "intense" I wouldn't say. My bike tells me that I have burnt about 400 cals so a lot less than my walk/runs which are about 600-700 cals.

Great thanks for the replies
Tonight I changed the program on the bike and man that was a workout !!! I'm loving how fit im getting from this. I love that it's compulsory for PCOS sufferers and I love that we have to do it 6-7 days/wk or else you sway blue because guess it or not , I'm an all or nothing kinda gal ( no wonder I got boys and if I didn't atleast try this sway I'm pretty sure the next would def be a boy )

Dream sister sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.
Ladies what sort of cardio are you doing. I do an hour of exercise bike daily. I was doing it during the day but I get insanely hungry. So Now I've been doing after boys go to bed.
How intense is everyone doing it ? I feel
Pretty tired at the end but I only start feeling like that probably in the last 20 min. I wonder if that is considered intense.
I suggest you do your cardio first thing in the morning. My experience is that this is by far the easiest way to get by it. I do 30 min cardio dancing you tube videos and 30 min speed walk.

I think it's okay if it's not that intense as long as it gets your heart rate up. I have been doing 30/30 light jogging on the track followed by elliptical when I'm at the gym, and 45/15 biking home from work followed by speed walking when I can't go to the gym. I don't feel like I'm ever pushing myself to the max, but I find i don't have a ton of energy on the diet, either, so moderate exercise is enough lately!

You can pick Atomic's brain on this one, but I feel it falls into the moderate category. If you can't do the 6-7 days a week, we've seen good results with even 4-5 days at the 60min duration.

Guys, it's really hard for me to keep up with support threads so when there is a question PLEASE start a thread in the forums and ask me. I'd much rather you did that then be guessing about what I'd say or whatever. :)
If I had a time machine I'd love to go back in time and call the 60 6-7 exercise anything except "intense". I never meant that to refer to the perceived intensity of one's exercise, I meant that to reference the time and amount, vs. something, well, more moderate like 30 min 4 days a week like the blue swayers do. It can be walking. It doens't need to be any certain heart rate or Olympic level of intensity. all it needs to be is actual exercise (not aimless meandering LOL or housework) that goes for 60 minutes solid. That's all. The 60 min. seems to be more important than the 6-7 days a week.
NOW the reason I recommend the 60 6-7 is because that is the amount I think is gonna work for most people, most of the time, even people who are maybe not quite so solid on diet. IT doesn't mean you can't get a girl with less than that (esp. if doing well on diet since they work in concert), but it's not what I believe to be optimal chances of doing so. I have to give a blanket prescription for the whole universe LOL but that doesn't mean that if you fall a little short, your sway is DOOOOOOmed or anything. I feel we've seen good results with as little as 4 days a week of exercise (60 min), it's just that I think your chances improve with more exercise.
Notable exception: Anyone with possible PCO-tendencies or IR needs to exercise even if you can only do moderate. This includes people who are over 40, have a lot of weight to lose, and aren't losing weight on standard LE even when eating only 1200 cals, in addition to people with PCOS. The benefits to your sway of lowering blood sugar levels (by improving insulin response) and weight loss (if needed) outweigh any risks of the mod. exercise. But even for these people, your chance are still going to be better if you aim for the 60 6-7 amount.
My concern with setting the bar low for yourself is that it makes it easier to aim low. If you set the bar low and then fall short, it's really not gonna help. Whereas if you aim for the 60 6-7, and then end up missing a day or two even once a week, then you're still in a range that has seen good results. If you aim for every other day as an example and then Wednesday is a bust then you can end up with Tues and Weds off (and even Thurs since you may have scheduling issues that way) I think it's better to try to exercise daily and then the bad Weds comes along and it's just a day.

I don't want you guys to get that nitpicky about it. It doens't matter. Exercise at the time of day that works for YOU personally because that way you'll be able to stick to it.

I still think you might benefit quite a bit switching from empty carbs to whole grains and the upper limits of protein and fat- 50-60g and 40-60g respectively. I don't think it matters much where the extra protein comes from. I do think that the purpose of meat in the alternative diets is to help balance hormone production. Eggs should be fine in this case.
Hopefully this switch can help you start to lose weight again!

How many of you in this thread are on PCOS diet and how many are on normal LE diet? What is the biggest difference between normal and PCOS-diet beside the higher protein and fat-limits?
I feel like my body is doing better with whole grain, eggs and healthy food than empty carbs and sugar. So I prefer the PCOS-version, but I don't have PCOS, so can I still do it? All the sugar makes my body sour and I get easily addicted. Just curious to hear what you others are doing.

I'm kind of doing a hybrid version. Eggs when I feel like having them, white pasta and white rice, low-mid range fat and protein limits (usually 40-50g for both), and a sweet treat once or twice a day. I never ate this way before with any of my boys so I'm trying it out this time around. I naturally eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I don't eat red meat and have eaten very little chicken since February.

I'm sort of doing pcos diet too. I don't follow the diet list to a tee I just eat whole grains and fruit and veg as a whole, but I allow myself sweet treats too. I wouldn't be able to do it otherwise. I eat prawns once a week but no eggs, I have cheese and whole milk but no yogurts. I probably go over on my wholegrain carbs but I'm hungry otherwise. I'm sure I don't have pcos because it was never picked up or mentioned when I did 5 rounds of IVF and immune testing, but like you my body does better without lots of sugar.
