As you've noticed, there are a bazillion different theories floating around on the internet and Atomic debunks some of the most common beliefs about swaying here. Personally, I feel comfortable following the advice on this site because she can explain WHY something might sway and site studies where they exist. So to that end, I would give up on your cal/mag/d3 supps and just stick to folic acid. Also don't worry about sodium.

Your DH doesn't need to give up coffee unless that's a health choice, coffee may sway pink. You're definitely right to have him taking OLE and NOT licorice root with high blood pressure. If he's having trouble with BD attempts after frequent release you could just not bother with FR. Releasing every couple days is not going to ruin your sway, the important thing is diet and single attempt at OPK (or BD every 4 days if that works better for you).

Have you read the essays on LE diet? How long have you been following LE totals as opposed to just upping calcium/magnesium and reducing sodium? The longer you are on LE the better your odds, and you need to track calories/protein/fat for at least a little while to make sure you aren't getting more than you think. It's ok to cheat sometimes but I wouldn't deliberately eat more over several days at certain times in your cycle. For the diet to work, you need to send your body a message that resources are low over the long-term. As for exercise, you have to be able to do at least an hour of cardio 5-6 days a week (can just be walking if it's a decent pace uninterrupted). If that's not feasible for you it's better to be a couch potato than to do occasional exercise, which may sway blue.

Hope that helps answer some of your questions. I don't know about Zyrtec but maybe someone else has an opinion there.

Your plan is done and has been sent in to tech support to be reformatted and posted in your forum. You'll get a message with a link in it.

To answer your questions (and please reask anything I miss because sometimes I do miss a detail in these long ones):

Most of us on here have had opposites doing things the "old school" way. So we were looking for other methods, based on better and more modern science. For some of us (who've gotten boys with tons of dairy and calcium or Shettles girl timing) this is really easy for us to pass up on. For others, you may still want to give it a try. That is totally at your discretion. What I DO want you to do, is instead of increasing dairy intake, which is loaded with nutrients of all sorts, is to take JUST cal-mag. You're going to have to find some without the Vit. D in it because Vit. D is a strong blue swayer for us. If you want to limit sodium, that's up to you. Do be sure you're getting 2500-3500 mg potassium though. Don't try to cut out potassium all together. That is the same on all the diets because it's the safe minimum amount. I would not have you take prenatals either. Just folic alone.

Gender doesn't run in families the way you're thinking of it and so it is irrelevant if DH has lots of boys in his extended family, he still makes 50-50 X and Y sperm and can still give you a girl. :)

Timing doesn't sway and attempts that far from O have slim chance of conception. I would advise you having an attempt NOT on O Day (as that's not good odds of conception anyway) but on the day you get your first positive OPK. This is a good chance of conception, easy to do, and still is a bit of a cutoff as well. It's the best of both worlds. :) IT's def. possible to get a pos OPK on CD 9, you would then probably O 36-48 hours later and that's all in normal range. I would not have you temping. I think it's going to drive you nutters and make you so obsessed over swaying that it could even undermine your sway and sway blue (the more you obsess over swaying, the worse it is for your sway).

As you know I'm not a fan of cranbery supps but cran juice is also a no-no. It is not concentrated enough to do anything helpful for your sway and you're only adding more nutrients that can possibly sway blue. I would probably drop both of them.

I did not give your DH any supplements in the plan and it's imperative that he not take them. They either interact with his medications or his age or his BD issues and he SHOULD NOT do soy milk or soy foods either (except just occasionally). No, he should not take Zyrtec.

Caffeine does not sway blue. That's been completely debunked and we are getting great results with coffee as a pink sway tactic.

He can't do FR. It's not going to happen and trying to get him to do that will accomplish nothing other than making you both very unhappy. Hasn't gotten good results anyway. I have you doing regular release every 2-4 days and then the one attempt to start with in your plan.

I think everything else I've covered in plan, please let me know if I missed anything as I do sometimes in the longer ones. :)

:agree: just what you did. Make a post, you can write "bump" in it if you want to or whatever. This makes it appear unread to me and puts it back at the top of the page for me. Once I open a post to read it, it is hard for me to find it again so it just makes it easier for me to track down and give a reply when I have the time to get through it. :)
