Oh gosh! I can't believe I am actually participating in an attempt forum! I feel like I need several more months of swaying! I haven't been nearly as good as I had hoped, but I am so ready to be done! How has your sway been going? How long did you sway for?

Hi Pretty - i see we joined at the same time :)
Been on LE since Feb! I too feel like pushing out the months to 'buy' some more swaying time.. but i think ill just mess up the progress i have already made with the diet if i do that because ive already been doing it a month longer than i can handle!! I think im still in shock that my DH is even ok with doing this again!! Feeling very lucky about that but omg im excited one day and so nervous the next!!

Hi, I might join you! Swayed from last July/August with attempts October-March then have taken a break. No real sway tactics at the moment apart from have kept the weight off and still exercising 5 times a week minimum and eating lower calories. Thinking of taking a very relaxed approach over the next few months if you know what I mean. If it's meant to be it will be. After years of planning, failed pgd, losing weight and changing my lifestyle over the last year, becoming slightly obsessed with it all, I'm a bit resigned to the fact that it probably isn't going to happen so I'm just going with the flow now :)

That's the attitude Ttc2015!! "go with the flow'! Welcome :) Sorry its been a bit of a roller-coaster ride for you. I started out slightly freaking out and obsessing but i had to learn to let go of some of the stuff i was mixed up in, like testing OPK's every cycle and taking photo's of the results and batching them into months and saving them in files and recording it manually in a diary so i could try pick up some trend in my cycles. Also checking my CM and making notes of consistency etc and comparing with the month before and the month before that and the month before that! Driving myself dilly with confusion.. So, i stopped that..
Well, please hang around here and keep us posted xx

I'm in for July! I would love an April baby! An April girl would be even better :XX:
I'm feeling good about my sway overall but I kind of abandoned exercise after a knee injury in April. So I'm going to try and start up again. I'm pcos so I know any exercise is better than none. I know it will help drop a few pounds too. I started LE in January and did about 6 or 7 weeks of exercise and dropped close to 10 lbs. I haven't weighed myself in a while though so I have no idea where I'm at there.
Ttc2015-I really believe that a relaxed approach is best! I hope things fall into place for you this summer.

I'm excited but I know it may not happen right off the bat even though I got pregnant 4 times with not even really trying. I'm looking forward to being done with swaying! But I'm hoping I'll keep some LE habits, specifically the no snacking. I was awful for that prior to swaying.

I hear you! I realised how bad my habits were the moment i learnt about LE!! My exercise has been pretty dismal.. I need to pull myself towards myself come Monday!! Thanks for joining me! Lol... i know July is going to come around so quickly. Anyway.. not putting it off any longer! Oh im so hoping it happens first time.. Fingers crossed for us xx

We have been trying to apply since last sept & we should know next week after the committee meets on thursday. If its a no (which we think it will be) we will be trying in july. I have been on the LE diet for 20 weeks now since I started in feb & I have lost 9kg so far. Im at my lowest adult weight but Im still nervous about my diet (so many potatoes, white carbs, bananas). Ive never eaten so much crap food in my life but Im hoping it all helps. Also nervous that hubby hasnt been doing the le diet but he has been drinking heaps of coke zero, olive leaf & peppermint tea. This is our last baby so I hope it all goes well for us.

I might be joining you guys, I had my first attempt on Wednesday was doing one attempt at positive OPK but am not very hopeful. I was planning to skip July as I already have two April babies, both boys but am getting fed up off diet and exercise and will feel really annoyed if am not pregnant this month I know I will just want to get back on the horse, so to speak! Great to have so many people on the journey as well x

DH and I will be attempting in July. We really would like a girl. My sway hasn't been nearly as strict as it probably should be, so I'm going to really tighten the reigns these next 4 weeks. Because of my age, I can't afford to wait any longer. I got pregnant the first try last time, but that was 10 years ago. [emoji46]

Am currently in 2 ww wait but am not hopeful, had an attempt on Wednesday but not sure I o' ed so decided to move to e4d' s but dh in a real grump last night because I misplace my driver license and I need it so we sit up late looking for it, he was not in the mood when we went to bed, so never suggested it. So we had one attempt this month, odds are not great. I have relaxed my sway exercise wise, down from 6 days per week to four, just for this week. To give myself a break before I start swaying hard for July, always nervous about attempting as my sway is not the tightest, diet wise, good luck and fingers crossed

My sway is chilled too. For me anyway. Only started walking last Monday and hope to continue that until attempt. This will be our first attempt so I'm a little nervous about the lack of cardio and I've stopped totalling cals everyday. Also not sure if to do FR or hurry up FR. DH thinks FR but I'm not sure anymore..

I'm between a few days and a week away from af and fed up already. I just want it to hurry up and arrive so I can move on to giving it a better shot in July! Not sure how diet and exercise is going to pan out over the next month though, I've given myself an injury which I'm terrified is going to result in me having to forego exercise :( I've just had two days off exercise so hoping I can get away with just going on the bike...
How's everything panning out for everyone else?x

I'm nervous and excited too. I'm trying to tighten up a bit but I'm still pretty relaxed. I'm really not the type to stress out so I'm just going with the flow. I am trying to get more cardio in though. I was doing well but then injured my knee at the end of April so stopped everything. Back on the bike Sunday and today!
Ditto 3sacharm! I should be ovulating in the next couple of days but I just want it to hurry up and come so I can just get on with the official attempt. Still getting negative OPKs but I had bad o pain today so not sure what to think. Test was darker today but not as dark as the control line.

My husband has been wishy-washy so I'm just going with one attempt. He never releases on his own so it will just be whenever we do it which is often enough. Hopefully I can hold him off so that we don't end up in boy territory!

Did you hear back from the committee?
My eldest has ASD and I only recently found out PGD was even an option but decided it would be too stressful to pursue. We have already been ttc for over a year so I don't need the extra stress.
My AF is due July 1 so I may or may not be joining this group... I would rather be joining a due date thread :)

Am confused about FR, for our attempt in June dh released everyday for 4-5 days and then twice day before the appt, then one attempt at OPK, he is over 35 so abstain was not an option but I read on a post atomic replied to someone else that FR can Inc sperm count in some men. I think she said it had to be FR for a week, we did not do that, what are the best options for those with dh over 35? If am unsuccessful this month want to tighten this part of my sway up, thanks x

xx- I know! My husband goes from "ABSOLUTELY NO MORE KIDS!" to "ok let's try for this girl!" every couple of weeks, I swear. Drives me crazy. I've just started ignoring him. I think he realizes that it's going to go my way and we will get pregnant again, lol.
That house sounds amazing and like everything I would want! I would love to move but our house is a great size (just needs some work) and it's near impossible to find a 5 bedroom home around here. It's very rare. Our house could easily have 6 bedrooms whenever we get around to renovating the basement but that's still a couple of years away. We're doing ok with 4 for now. I hope your offer is accepted!
I'm getting nervous about TTC too. I really really want an April baby but then I worry about conceiving right away b/c my diet hasn't been strict. I've been more consistent with exercising though so I'm hoping that balances things out. The last 2 days have been awful food-wise! Going away party for friends yesterday (pigged out on chips and dip and pasta salad) and father's day BBQ today where I, again, pigged out on chips and dip and pasta salad plus 2 hot dogs :/ Back on track tomorrow!

Is anyone using OPKs? I picked up some $ store ones to try out this cycle but I never did get a postive and I tested for a full week. I'm sure I must have missed my surge. I had a pretty dark test one day and it was the one day where I only had an hour and a half hold. I thought a 2 hour hold was enough but reading online it seems most people hold for 3-4 hours. So I'm thinking I would have had a positive had I held my pee for longer. Ugh, what a pain.

FX and GL to those getting ready to attempt! I'm stuck in limbo. Still no AF and am going to keep BDing every 4 days until AF or BFP. This is like the longest cycle I've ever had! If AF does come, it will probably be super heavy and awful [emoji20]

I used supermarket OPK's for about 10 months and i managed to detect a positive each time, with fade-ins but i stopped checking that in Feb this year because i could never pinpoint ovulation and that was when i believed in Shettles. Deffo buying them again when its attempt time and hopefully they work just as well.. Im going for one attempt at +OPK for our first cycle and fingers crossed that works! I always tested daily at 3pm as i knew to avoid the morning and for some reason that worked for me. I dont think i would manage to hold pee in for almost 4 hours anyway so i never did that.

3 sacharm, sorry af arrived, least you can move on! It is so disheartening, how do ladies do it month in month out, April is a lovely month to have a baby, maybe do something nice for yourself? Have a lovely treat or some new clothes.
I have been examining my chart, I got a positive OPK and we bd on that evening but I actually had a temperature drop that morning, it does not seem clear from my temperatures when I o' ed and I never got a peak on the clear blue fertility monitor as I ran out of test sticks, I did use 12, I think like you I may have o' ed later than I thought and with only one attempt, that was never happening or alternatively I wondered if maybe I did not ovulate this month? My temperatures are still up though, it is all very annoying! X

Huge hugs 3'sacharm and Girlie! Getting BFNs suck, especially when your cycle goes wonky and gets your hopes up [emoji20]!
I too don't feel like I could get pregnant with a massively delayed ovulation. I know I'm still BFing though, but I have never had this happen to me with my other 2 boys so who knows! I keep telling myself that any change in your cycle is great for pink but this is just plain ridiculous! I mean I'm on CD61 and think I Oed either 2 days ago or even yesterday!! Time will tell. We keep BDing anyway though. It's getting easier for my DH to keep trying with my cycle as long as it has been and me not getting a BFP!

Af arrived, why am I still gutted? It seems I ovulated much later than I thought and my attempt around then may have been poorly timed because I had already thought I had o' ed.
Am back full throttle on diet and exercise, and trying to see this as an opportunity to improve my sway for July or August. Think I might put a limit on it time wise. Not sure I could cope emotionally with the " am I, aren't I" of the 2 ww and then the Bfn. I might give it to Christmas and if no luck by them leave it. Anyone else putting a time limit on when they will give up?
Tightening my sway, dh going to start running and take olive leave extract. Dramatically reduce the chicken as I think I ate too much of it last few months. Going to set my alarm for same time every morning to take temperature. Going to purchase enough sticks so I don't run out this month during my fertile period. Going to have a better understanding of FR, so dh can be up to speed at attempt.
Cannot think of anything else but bfp' s let's be having you!

I could've written the same thing!
AF started for me today. I'm hoping this cycle won't be as long as the last two have been! My cycles are usually 24-28 days long- not this 43 and 64 day crap!
I've tightened up the diet. I've kept strict on the cardio, but I had to add in a 4th tiny snack due to my DS3 nursing a lot while teething. I'm now back to 3 meals and no snacking! I'm going to keep protein at 40-50g and bring fat to about 45-50g. I think part of the reason my cycles have been all over the place is the exercise and my fat levels averaging 30-40g. I'm also going to further limit my "junky carbs" to 15% of my daily intake as opposed to 20%. This way I can have more fruits and veggies for my healthy carbs. Hopefully these changes will help!
I'm also going to use opks and temping. If it starts to stress me out, I'll stop like I did this past cycle. Not worth the unnecessary stress! I'm just curious on when or if I get a LH surge compared to what my chart shows with temps and CM.
Hopefully July brings more BFPs!! FX to those waiting to test!!

I think I need a dead line, even though that will put pressure on, I have been so grumpy since af arrived, it's just annoyance, frustration and sadness. Few people in the family announced they were expecting the day af arrived, just bad timing but it just added to my sense of misery, I hate feeling like that. I really tried to stick to my limits today, boy was it hard, especially when a small lunch was 22 g of fat and dinner alone was 50 gs of fat, so I ate half of the dinner, so I am a bit over but I was so hungry, still am! Going to have to get better on filling up on stuff that is lower in fat and protein. Going over to nosey at the diet section so I can plan tomorrow' s eating! X

Guys this is my first attempt after LE since Feb. I really really really hope I get preg in July.. I had a cheat day yesterday. It was a family day and I loved it. I've kinda got a chilled sway going and I'm ok with that. I'm one period away from attempt and I can't wait. Xx
