When would you DTD if you were me....
Here's my info

Started the sway diet and Cardio April 28th. Stayed on the diet and cardio for about 4 weeks and then the following 2 weeks I cheated so much I would just say I was off the diet completely and the cardio also wasn't happening either.
After these 2 weeks, I started back up onto diet and cardio after making some adjustments. I feel a lot more confident with my revisions and am excited with the changes I made. So now... based on this I am not sure when I want to DTD. I originally wanted to DTD in July before I had that terrible 2 week cheat and DH just said maybe just push it to August. I would prefer to start trying earlier however. I wanted to be pregnant before September. I know I won't be able to focus on the sway once September is here.

So If we DTD in July it means....
First 4 weeks of Sway were strong (mostly in upper limits though, but no cheats), next 1.5-2 weeks were crappy, then hoping to have the following 5 weeks very strong with no cheats until takes me to +OPK day.

OR I could add another 5 weeks onto that for an August DTD.

Im not sure If I wold say my 'cheat weeks' count or If I should have the mentality of starting over. So I don't know how to count my weeks accordingly to make sure I have a good number of weeks behind me before we BD.

What would you do?

This is a crystal ball question that I just don't have an answer to.

As you know 12 weeks or more on diet has gotten better results BUT first and foremost you need to do what is best for you as a family and if that is TTC sooner, then do that. :)

If you are really, really set on getting pregnant by September then it might be best to have an attempt in July even though you haven't been on the diet that long. I say this because otherwise August will be your ONLY chance to get pregnant when you want, and you might feel a lot of pressure to add attempts, or just get into a bad mindset (the ultimate showdown between me and my sway, from which I must emerge victorious!!!!!)

That said, it might be easier to give yourself permission to get pregnant later than August even if it's less than ideal.

I guess I am wondering if I should still count my week of cheating or start counting from scratch.

And its not so much the diet Ill have an issue with in September, its the cardio... I don't have a stationary bike or anything in my home. I go outside for power walks.

But we conceived DS after 2 months of trying so the weather will still be nice out if Aug doesn't stick for me to do cardio outside. Ill have to tone it down to maybe 4 times a week. We have a rower in our basement. Would rowing count as cardio or is it building muscle?

Okay I think I just needed to talk it out haha I think I can do it. I also have weekends too for cardio.

You could probably find a stationary bike for 50-60 bucks on kijiji if you keep your eye out.

I think I already answered this in another thread Nessa.

Do not count the cheating, just regroup and move on.

Rowing may build muscle too much and since it's working arms and legs together may raise T more than just straight cardio. I'd skip it

Next Ovulation (June) will put me at around 9 weeks on the diet.
So DH and I talked about it and we decided for many reasons it makes sense for us to attempt in June. That was always the plan, before I even found this website, and we decided to start trying in June for many more reasons that outweigh the chance of having any preferred gender. So I know that I did my best in these 9 weeks and am lucky I stumbled upon this site at all! We are not going to adjust what makes sense for our family.
Side Note: I have a brother. I always wanted a sister growing up. When I say 'preferred gender' thats from the perspective of me, the parent. but I also think it would be pretty awesome if DS grew up with a brother. I see any gender as a win win.

My gut has always told me June. Also, I missed my June O window (got a +OPK June 1st) but I ended up getting AF a week early which means I likely will have +OPK last few days of June (June 29 I think). Maybe I am meant to try in June and this is the universe's way of confirming and telling me to keep listening to my gut. :)

I always wanted a sister too growing up (I was an only child till I was 11 and while I do have a sister, they are half-sisters and so much younger it isn't the same) BUT I will tell you, as a mom, I LOVE having 2 boys. I have two sets of two boys 13 years apart and I liked it that way. I think boys should come in pairs like shoes.

No matter what, you cannot lose. You're on target to have a great sway, June, August, who cares!! No matter what, you will have a new baby to snuggle, boy or girl both will be great!! :)
