Someone just asked me what essential oils to AVOID for pink - meaning which ones are said to sway blue??? I honestly can't recall and cannot find the info that I know I have somewhere in a reasonable time frame LOL so we're asking here just to save me some time.

I do want to stress again that I really, really, really, to infinity and beyond, do NOT want my blue swayers using positive ions for their sways. Positive ions are harmful to health and do not sway anyway. But we want to know which oils are supposed to be blue friendly (even though I don't want you guys using them) so the pinkies can avoid them too.

I asked in my oils group and they said there really aren't any specifically for swaying except clary sage is a progesterone booster and hormone/cycle balancer. Basically it works along the same lines as vitex. Lavender is reported to be estrogenic, but it's never been proven. I know there are a few oils to be avoided specifically while TTC, but I don't have that info handy.

So that means that Clary Sage would sway pink too if on the same lines as Vitex?

I feel very, very nervous and wary about you guys assuming ANYTHING where herbs are concerned. we don't even know what biological mechanisms are swaying, let alone how any one herb affects those things, and to start signing off on an essential oil becuase it may work the same as vitex...no, I cannot recommend that.

Lavender is ok because I have seen people use lavender and get girls. I have NOT seen anyone use Clary sage and get girls, so I cannot sign off on it.

Just to bump, and I know ions are still "meh" on swaying, but any more info on this? What if you're just diffusing the oils into the air and it smells good? Couldn't hurt, right?

The thing with the positive ions is that they're supposed to be BAD for people. Positive ions are said to be harmful to health and thus, while I agree that it all feels very pseudoscientific and hokey to me, since I don't think ions work anyway, I see no point in pursuing them for a blue sway. :)
