Hello,
Just a little background. My husband and I have 3 boys and would like to try and sway for a girl in the next month or so. Ive been reading about the LE diet and I think I would need to try the LE-Pcos one. I'm 5'8 and 219 pounds, so ive got a bit of weight to lose.

I know there are no magic foods on the le diet and ive read the thread with foods listed that are better to have than others but I don't see a post about foods that can/should be eaten on the PCOS diet.

If someone could help me out I would appreciate it. What foods are best to eat on this diet?

Did you read this^^? Atomic has a great list of suggestions in there so you don't even have to think about limits if you don't want to. Basically you want to have the majority of your calories coming from fat and protein (vegetable-based preferably) and fewer from carbs and stay away from sugar. So lots of veggies, whole grains only (no white flour), rice is good, full-fat dairy is ok.
Hope that helps!

It's easier to think of it this way:

50-60 g protein and 50-60 g fat from mostly vegetable sources (but animal ones are still ok, just focus on more vegetable sources, particularly with the fats)

1500-1800 cals total and the rest of your cals that are not coming from protein and fat, should be coming from GOOD carbs like whole grains, fruit, and high carb veg and not white, refined grains or sugars. Low carb veg are free and unlimited, you can have as much as you want no need to count them for anything, not even calories.

That's it!! It's really just that easy.
