Positive Opk 3 days in a row?

Has this happened to anyone else? What could it mean? In the past I've only ever had one positive and then the next day it goes back to negative.

Yes, it happens quite regularly.

It can mean your body was gearing up to O and then just didn't have quite enough hormone for it to happen, or it may be that it just took a little longer to clear your system than normal. :)

Go off the FIRST positive, have attempt that day (or night LOL), then if you keep getting positives, in 4 days' time have another attempt then.

Thanks atomic. We last dtd on Monday AM, the day before the first positive. I got positives on Tuesday night, Wednesday night and Thursday night. I know I could have another attempt tonight (4 days since last attempt) but I'm not sure I will as after thinking about it more, I'm not entirely happy with my sway yet and I didn't get up for ages after DTD on Monday (as you know lol) so feel like I really maximised sperm count in that one attempt lol.

Where you say it may have taken a little longer to clear my system, do you mean I could have ovulated at first positive but that it's possible the hormone is being detected even though ovulation has occurred? x

Just did another Opk to see if it had finally gone negative... Blazing positive for the 4th day in a row!

Yes, you can have ovulated (not AT first positive, but 24-36 hours after on average, even as long as 48) and then the hormone just hangs around for a bit before you manage to pee it all out.

Since you DTD before the first positive and we're now going on the 4th day I would urge another attempt but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
