Hi Ladies - Moving over from June and thought I'd start the July thread. I'm eager to get on with my next cycle! For new TTCers, I just had a CP last cycle and am around cycle day 5 now. I hope July brings us many, many BFPs!

I'm on CD3! Who knows how long my cycle will be this time let alone when I'll ovulate, hahaha!!
I bought some Wondfo opks and will confirm with a CBD (pink ones with smiley face). I'll also resume temping once AF leaves.
I'm hoping to learn more about what my body is doing and when. If it stresses me out, I'll stop. I'm aiming for a chilled sway this time. I was too uptight and control-freaky last time I swayed!
FX and GL! I'm hoping July brings more BFPs!!

I am currently on CD 12 and this is our second month trying. Should be getting positive OPK tomorrow so likely BD tomorrow night! I took Clomid (50 mg) again CD 3-7. I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get a BFP last month as I had a super strong ovulation due to the Clomid and we got pregnant first cycle with DS. Dropping a few of my sway tactics that we did last month (no more daily release or hot shower prior) and will try to lay down for 10 minutes instead of 5 after BD. Hoping that does the trick!

CD4 for me after 2 chemical pregnancies back to back the last 2 cycles. Taking 7.5mg of Femara days 3-7, and Gonal F injections days 8-11 this cycle, first time using injectables so hoping they help get me my BFP after 15 months of TTC.

Am in unfortunately, cd 4 today. There is a jolly Julu thread, should we try to join the threads! Am feeling really discouraged after having pretty spot on timing last month and no pregnancy. Back on diet and exercise full tilt, I should o between 12 - 15 of this month, bring on the bfp' s x

I'm in. CD6 today, really losing my nerve over ttc with all it entails as I'm borderline heading for an eating disorder with binging. I'm carrying on for the time being but I'm not sure how much longer I can go on for :/ sorry for the downer.
Let's hope July really is jubilant!!!x

Hi all. I'm 8-9 dpo. AF is due Sunday/Monday. Had some twinges & light cramps yesterday but otherwise feel completely normal. May test with Ic tomorrow & then frer the next day.
Have put on more weight this week, yuk so trying to watch what I'm snacking on.
My parents had all 3 kids for a couple of days & the time without them made me start thinking a bit how I will cope with another one & how DH & I will not have any time together without the kids. My youngest is over 3 now & so independent. Wondering how I would cope with a newborn & the sleepless nights & trying to run the household too. My DH doesn't help out much (he does cook on weekends though which is wonderful) so it is all up to me when it comes to cleaning, washing, making lunches etc. We have a farm so DH is busy most weekends & he has his own business that keeps him busy throughout the week. Then I think about the love & joy another child would bring & I would still feel disappointed if I get a bfn this cycle.

I totally get what you guys are saying, I have went from obese to now lower end of healthy weight for my height, if I keep weight loss going I will soon be underweight. Am amazed how little am eating, compared to what I was. I ran six miles today on a salad, everyone is commenting on how inspirational my weight loss is, no one knows we are trying for another baby, my mum is starting to comment that am losing too much weight! I really hope I get a bfp this month, good luck to you all, looking forward to this journey with you all! X

I'm joining you all. Had planned to take 6 months off but after a few chats with OH we are trying one more month! So hello everyone :)
Its only our 4th month (which I know is nothing) but we are starting to worry a little especially as most people swaying blue fall quick due to increased fertility. Were doing a whole 10 yards sway and worst part is no caffine or alcohol for us both but now were about 15 weeks in its become easier. Worst parts are amount of weight I have gained. Hubby gained a little but nothing compared to me, I'm the heaviest I have ever been even when 9 months pregnant! So I'm envious of you all becoming slight. I cant wait to crash diet, I never thought I would say those words!
I'm cd 3 and this is a very heavy period, worst I can remember, so hoping that might be a good sign for this month. Not sure I OV last month as my CB digi went straight to peak after 4 days of low on day 14, I had a+ on my other at same time and we bd that day, next morning and next night. Still think we were late again (missed month before by about 1 day). This month as soon as OPK even start to darken going to bd every day from then on. Also back to temping this month but its not reliable at all for me. Ive also cut green tea to one cup a day (from 3), stopped EPO, upped cough meds and stopped messing with ions over last few weeks so this sway is a little lighter, but not much.
Hope everyone is well and I'm hooing to see a lot of BFP this month, glad I'm here one more month with familiar faces xx
I'm sorry purple I hoped you would have snook in with a bfp. I took clomid with my first. I suffered terribly with side effects, I hope your managing ok. If we don't fall this month we will be trying clomid again probably if we restart in January. Sadly as we have 3 kids any help we need will now have to be self funded.
got everything crossed farmgirl, you might be the first BFP. I know what your saying and I think any BFN is crap wherever you are. It was only our 3rd month and I was gutted, but I keep telling myself theres people waiting who have been trying over a year so I try to put that into perspective x

Glad to see you back this month baby2016baby, good to have another blue sway around here. It seems like it's all girl swayers :) although I follow the blue sway since it makes you more fertile I would be happy with a boy or a another girl, after 15 months I just want to be pregnant with a healthy sticky bean. It is getting really old trying month after month but I really don't want DD to be an only child, that is what keeps us going.

Aww I know you've had a rough few month tfahn. I can't imagine 15 months down the line. I feel your pain on the cp as I had 2 chemicals before my first (one was on honeymoon got bfp then af 5 days later) and they hit you hard. I hope you get bfp soon. I'm guessing with the meds your seeing an ob. Have they suggested why you've had two chemicals? I think mine were lining issues as after them my af was quite light.
I can't help but think how easy I got pregnant in past (3live, 3mc) when barely trying. Then you bloody give it all you have and nature plays cruel games. I hate this ttc lark I really do x
tfahn
June 29th, 2016, 03:54 PM
Right now the CP's are unexplained, 3 in 5 months. They ran a recurrent miscarriage blood panel, like 6 tubes of blood, and everything came back as normal. I am now taking progesterone supplements in the 2WW so lining should not be an issue I wouldn't think. Hopefully one of these times the baby sticks. The only thing I can think of is late implantation possibly so the egg isn't as healthy but not much you can do to control that. :)

June 29th, 2016, 06:29 PM
Good to see you giving it another try baby2016. Goodluck! I'm lucky the symptoms from clomid haven't been too bad. My main issue was being really sore and tender at ovulation time but it wasn't as bad the last 2 cycles. Maybe because I took it earlier, the worst was when I took it cd6-10 last year.
Tfahn, I have my fx for you that it will happen soon. It took us 12 months for DS2 and that felt like forever. It has been longer this time but I think if I can't have a 3rd I will accept it more than not having a 2nd.
I technically set my deadline to stop trying after this cycle but I will see how I feel. I might just do a non clomid cycle after this next clomid one. I just don't know how to give up on the dream yet.

Hi ladies! I'm getting nervous about attempting this month mostly bc DH hasn't officially given the go-ahead. He's been back and forth so dang much and also stressed about money lately. I'm worried his stress will go into overdrive if I get pregnant right away. I'll see how things go, I won't push too hard. Not yet anyway
I'm waiting for AF to arrive which should be tomorrow or Friday. I'll start my OPKs by the end of next week. Just have to pick up another pack or two. I never got a positive last cycle so I'm skeptical but I will try again.

Hello everyone I am trying to sway blue, I almost thought I was the only one trying to sway blue. I tried in June and thought for sure I was pg, but the AF showed up and lasted 6 whole days longest ever my periods usually only lasts 4 days, has that happened to any of you boy swayers? So really wanted to just hide in my room and cry like a big baby. Well I won't be trying in July
going to wait for August and hopefully get my bfp then. My hubby and I have always gotten pg on the first try, so kind of hoping it does not take long. I think if it does not happen in in August we will try until October, then if no bfp then maybe we will stop trying. We have been planning ttc since before March, but wanted to wait until June so I could start tracking ovulation, and also stop breastfeeding my two-and-a-half-year-old. So back to temping in the morning and eating so many times a day and testing for ovulation. Think I'm going to try and make it a little less stressful this time, I think I drove myself and the hubby half crazy the last time. So I hope to follow you other blue swayers on your journey and hope to see them bfp from you girls!! Good luck to you all

i did read somewhere that blue swayers tend to see longer cycles/heavier periods while pink swayers sometimes see shorter cycles/lighter periods. It's not necessary to be successful of course but I think it's a good sign that your body chemistry is changing! I'll gladly send you all the blue dust I have! :bluecheer:

Cd 6 here, I usually o around day 14 - 15, not sure why but have been feeling really down yesterday and today, maybe it is just tiredness and hunger and trying to fit exercise in around children and working. Not sure if it is lasting disappointment due to Bfn last month coupled with lots of people announcing they are pregnant or having girls! Since I had my d s 2, there has only been one other boy born to a family member, friend or colleague and countless girls, I just wish I did not care, my dh just does not get it, his stock response is " but we have a daughter ", guess am feeling hopeless about July's attempt. Historically I have been lucky to get pregnant first attempt with all three children, so am but trying to say it is a good thing am less fertile as maybe that will sway pink? How is everyone else feeling? X o

I'm feeling kind of down too. My SIL is due with a girl in August, my cousin is having identical twin girls in September, and my sister's best friend just had a girl yesterday. Now I feel like a boy is bound to be conceived with all these girls around and it will probably be me who conceives him! Sometimes I feel really good about my relaxed sway and other times I get mad at myself for not going vegetarian and not being consistent enough with cardio.
Ugh, pain in the butt. And I'm still waiting for AF which is probably going to be late and show up while DH and I are away on our kid-free trip next week. Of course.

I feel the same way, girlieplease. This is my third cycle and I've been doing the diet loosely since last fall and strictly since January. It's not the diet that bothers me, it's the whole production of it all, and having it go on and on that is hard. Especially, mostly probably, becuase there are no guarantees in the end. The more it goes on I feel like I'm dedicating too much of my effort to this sway and feel down because I feel like I should just be happy with what I have and let another DC, if any, happen naturally.
Anyway, I'm sorry it's been so long for you purple, I'm struggling with thinking about when we would call it quits down the road. I don't know when it would be either.
I really can't imagine being in the shoes of people that have had a successful sway, I just feel like it won't happen for me.

My heart goes out to people that have been TTCing for so long. It sucks. It took me 9 months and 11 cycles to conceive my DS3. That last month I told my DH I didn't want to try anymore, and I had accepted our family the way it was. We were surprised I was pregnant!
This time around, we are trying until December and then we will re-evaluate.
Come on July! Bring on more BFPs!!

I'm ok about it, the longer time goes on the more I'm accepting that we may not be meant to have another one. I have given myself until November & if it hasn't happened by then it's not meant to. Want to get to me attempt but also find the 2 ww really difficult time, so not looking forward to that. I have put my effort into exercising and sticking to my diet levels so at least in the 2 ww I can drop the exercise to 5 days and have one or two treats! How is everyone feeling about attempt / chances this month? Am not hopeful as my timing was spot on last month and no pregnancy so think it might take us a while with this diet and e4 days

Good luck Beau82, is this your first cycle?
Girlieplease, I hope last month was just an off month for you and you ovulate your usual time.
So today I had to ring around several pharmacies to get hold of some more clomid! The one I got it from last time was all out and none of their other stores had any. I called a couple of pharmacies near where I live and they didn't have any so I tried the one where I got the pregnyl and they had 1 pack left! It was a bit out the way but at least I have some now. I'm going to start it tomorrow night.
Hopefully I don't need to go hunting around again, this pack will do 2 cycles but I plan to take next cycle off so I won't have to worry about it until October. Hopefully we aren't still ttc in October as we have a holiday booked and have 5 nights in the same hotel room as the boys.

Apologies in advance for the gross question but I think you ladies can handle it? Cd 8 or 9 today, usually o day 12 - 15, today I have lots of creamy discharge, I never usually have this, swaying pink should there not be less? I wondering if I have a yeast infection? This may account for i? I have no other signs of infection like itching. would be gutted as my attempt for this month should be in a few days? Thanks

Thanks purple! Yes this will be our first attempt cycle. We had some slip-ups the last few months but usually timing was off.
Girlie - I wouldn't worry! CM can change so much anyway and then with swaying on top of it, you can definitely notice more changes. I've noticed lately that I usually have a couple of days of creamy CM just before ovulation. For me it goes from creamy for around 2-3 days to EW for just one day.

July 2nd, 2016, 05:59 PM
If it's not smelly or itchy its probably fine girlie. I'm pretty sure when I have had yeast infections (going back 10 years now) it was different to the normal creamy CM and was definitely uncomfortable and itchy!

Nice to see theres a few more blue swayers this month. Hello all. I want to see lots of BFPs this month. How nice will an april baby be?
Hope everyone has had a nice weekend, I'm cd8 but I think this is another dud month. Only because I am still bleeding today and last time this happened (our first month) I didn't get a peak on my clearblue at all and never got a true positive OPK :( I'm not sure whats going on with me at all. I'm thinking I might need a dose of clomid, trouble is in the UK it can be hard to find. I think age is against us both now too. Ive the added worry that my mum had an early menopause at 39, so if I take after her times running out fast.
Hope everyone is well, looking forward to seeing the tests coming in xxxx

Thanks girls... I actually hope to be back here soon as the pregnancy isn't really viable. My progesterone is like it would be at the start of a cycle. Basically my body has just started a new cycle with a completely normally AF and it doesn't even realise there is embryo attached somewhere.
I just want it to resolve it's self quickly as if it is ectopic that probably means I would have to get a shot of mextroxone(sp?) which also means no ttc for 3 months. I'm not sure I would return to trying after that.
I'm at work and just got an email of someone's baby girl announcement... just what I need, a big photo of a cute baby girl all over my screen!

Tfahn are you having a trigger shot? or have you thought of trying one? I had one the month I conceived, I think it was day 13 or 14, and it worked as I got pregnant with my first girl. Anyone know about cleat digital's? I used one yesterday and got an empty circle, used one today and when the stick when in the display showed the stick sign but it was not flashing like it usually does, then nothing happened. When I took the stick out the stick symbol remained but in the bottom corner was a book with an arrow?
XXforhubby
July 5th, 2016, 06:48 PM
It means that it was a faulty test stick. When the symbol goes away, you can retest with a new stick.
I used to have this happen when the stick wasn't in all of the way after removing the cap. I now take the cap off before placing the stick into the holder. I sometimes hold onto the stick really well while removing the cap, if I didn't remove it beforehand.

Just back from my holiday! Cd9 today.
This month have been doing e3days and did not test with opks. Trying to keep it super chilled!
Anyway, On Sunday -Monday cd16 - 17 had some bleeding?!?! Mostly pinky with some red also at times. Felt so upset, thinking af was starting ridiculously early! However it only lasted the two days.
I am hoping it is some sort of ovulation spotting? Have read some posts where people have had this Fx Fx fx
No idea what else it could have been. My fertility seems to be crazy nowadays!

I hope it doesn't last too long jennypenny. I had spotting in my cycles before I started metformin. It was due to hormone imbalances from having PCOS.

If I am not successful this month, I plan to go to doctors for some check ups.
For the last couple of months I have also had spotting 2-3 days before af begins. Now with this month's spotting midcycle, makes me feel that something is not quite right.

Just a quick post as I'm still away with DH (our first alone trip!). At the end of AF now so I'm hoping for an attempt late next week. I'll start OPKs on Monday or Tuesday. AF has been pretty light for me this cycle so I'm taking that as a good sign! I also had a dream last night that I got a positive HPT (with an April due date!). I was so excited that I came right on here to post about it, lol. I was prepared for my diet to fall by the wayside but it really hasn't been bad. So here's hoping this all adds up to a successful attempt this month!
I'm excited to see lots of BFPs soon!

Pbn3- I think my highish temps are due to my body trying to ovulate.
Mid cycle spotting can be due to many factors that are not cause for alarm, such as the cervix softening and getting an owie from a bowel movement or sex, ovulation spotting due to the release of an egg or a follicle enlarging, or finally due to estrogen levels lowering when the egg is about to be released. All of these are perfectly normal and do not indicate a problem. As long as the midcycle spotting doesn't last for more than a day and is light in nature (only a panty liner is needed).
The only time midcycle spotting is of a concern is when it's heavy and lasts more than a day or two. If that occurs, the cycle is usually anovulatory. Most doctors will not do anything for it unless it happens for more than 3 cycles.
Spotting before AF starts is perfectly normal as progesterone starts to drop a few days before AF and can signal that the lining can start to shed.
Swaying and TTCing can cause us to micromanage our cycles when we need to relax. Swaying is bringing about changes to our bodies that are normal, they are just different from what we are used to.

Hi PBN, I also hope I get to post a BFP on here at some point. We were at a cookout out this weekend and DD was playing with my 12YO niece, and DH said we def need to have a sibling for DD. They played so well together and just reassured us we are doing the right thing by continuing TTC.
CD12 today and just had my ultrasound this morning. No measurable (over 10mm eggs) on the right side and on the left there was one big one at 29.3 mm which is too big and another follicle that I can't remember the size of. They like to see eggs at about 20-27 mm, RE said it doesn't mean I won't get a BFP this month but its not as likely. They took bloodwork and as long as it doesn't show that I already surged then I would take the trigger shot tonight. Guess the injectable meds worked a little too well :) If no BFP this month I would have my ultrasound earlier next cycle to catch the follicle before it gets too big.

Thanks for your advice. I just hope that I am actually ovulating and not just building up for it and not doing it!
The spotting was mostly pink, but there was one toilet visit where it was red! No need for a pad or anything, just appeared at toilet visits. I had dull cramps on Sunday afternoon and the light bleeding started that night until Monday afternoon.
Trying to be positive and hope that the changes in my cycle are making me a bit more girl friendly.

Got my blood work results from this morning, I am already in the process of starting to ovulate according to my numbers so they don't want me to do the trigger shot. I asked questions that I forgot this morning: 2nd follicle was 14.7mm so that has the possibly of releasing as well as the big 29.3mm one and Lining was measuring at 9mm which is good. Time to BD the next 3 nights. Good luck everyone attempting this week.

I am cd 13 and got a smilie face on the cb digital, the clear blue monitor said high not peak, have ewcm so going to bd tonight, nervous and excited! Glad to have so company in the 2 ww, I hate it. With my three previous pregnancies I got pregnant first try and in January 16 I thought I was pregnant though we were mot trying and then last month after our attempt, those are the only times I have been in the 2 ww and not been pregnant it was awful. I was thinking I was pregnant both times.
I feel a bit sad today my dd 5 years old said to me " why have you decided to have no more children" and I said to her " I would probably have a brother, I don't think you want another brother?" she said " but there is a chance you could have a girl, you don't know" bless her, it breaks my heart! Good luck everyone! X

Also in the 2WW for a pink sway (BD CD 14, ovulated CD 15, currently CD 21). This is our second cycle trying, both cycles on 50 mg Clomid.
The first cycle I had horrible side affects from the Clomid (crazy ovulation pain, intense cramping all throughout the 2WW, tender bbs, constipation, lots of CM, etc) so I thought for SURE I was pregnant and was super disappointed when I saw the BFN. Later I learned that Clomid causes a lot of these symptoms :-( Thankfully this cycle my ovulation pain was comparative to my normal pre-clomid cycles and the cramping has been minimal, though I started having a crazy high amount of CM last night (5 DPO).
I've been doing the diet and exercise hard-core since January and I am SO over it. We were supposed to start TTC in May but when I went to the OBGYN in April to have my IUD taken they discovered that it had moved and I ended up needing a minor surgery to have it removed so TTC was postponed back one month to June.
I'm trying my best to be patient with this process but the 2WW really sucks (trying not to think about it but we all know how impossible that is!) and it's frustrating to know that it might take a few months to conceive since we are going for pink. With DS, we got pregnant the first month and I guess a part of me expected the exact same with this one :-(

My last 2 clomid cycles had less O pain. I think it was because I took it earlier (4 to 8).
I was going to try 3 to 7 this cycle beforw all the craziness happened. Reminder to everyone to take a hpt before starting fertility meds!
I'm still going to hang around here as I don't really feel ready for a due date post as I'm doubtful still that this will go well.

Hi Lisa, I am so sorry for your CP.
Maybe going with your gut and not stressing about it will sway pink for you this time around! Don't give up! We will have our BFP and they will stick!
I have been researching about early tests like FRER, but I'm also afraid I get disappointed so maybe I will just wait it out (althouh all this wait kills me!)
My AF is due on the 19th July and I'll wait for AF not to come to take a test. With my first pregnancy I had implantation bleeding 2 days prior to AF and then I had sore boobs for a week and a half before a pregnancy test came positive and I took 3!!! Implantation happened really late or I ovulated later then I thought...
So waiting, and keeping my mind busy I feel it's the best option for now. Fingers crossed!

It's very common. Not only does it happen when swaying for both genders, it also happens when TTC in general.

I started supps, vitamins and diet and ive had 4 crazy cycles. all different, getting positive OPKs at different times and different lengths. I'm struggling with getting attempts in as its hard to predict when the time will fall. And I cant depend on my EWCM or OPKs as I seem to get almost positives for days then they just go negative. so stressful.

Hang in there ladies! Trust me, you all are doing better than you think! I believe when we are TTCing and swaying, we have a tendency to pick apart and focus on the things that we struggle with, which prevents us from seeing the big picture. It's never as bad as we make it seem! We all could do something a bit better, but we have to ask ourselves at what cost? We aren't perfect and swaying is HARD! Instead, let's focus on what we are doing well! Then, let's celebrate! We are making real changes toward getting our DG!

I'm not sure. I guess just being closer to the attempt and knowing that bc I had a CP last month it almost worked out so at least things are happening a bit. It's probably hormones too, now that I'm paying attention I really notice how I'm much more positive before o and more depressed during AF. I'm really really hoping this is our month. XX - Good luck looking after the kids on your own for a few days. It sounds like you have a bit of help from the grandparents so that is good.
Inforthree - a vacation sounds like a great way to pass the TWW, enjoy your break!
Girlieplease - don't worry too much about having the big O, I don't think it is really that much of a boy sway factor. Have you thought about doing e4d or e3d if you are struggling with not enough sex? Also it may help you stress less about missing your ovulation.
baby2016baby - I agree with the others and doing e2d is great for a boy sway. This is what I did for my boys. I did chart and do OPKs too so I could know when I ovulated but I wasn't swaying, just trying really hard to conceive a baby.

I think your right we need a posative attitude although some weeks and months can be challenging. I guess it's because ultimately we are not really in control of anything. We just like to think we are with tests and diets and temps etc. This is my most relaxed month so far with regards to diet and excercise etc. Although I don't feel hopeful I'm starting to feel better in a way. Ladies, I am getting some weird symptoms but i don't remember if this is pregnancy related at all or not. I am currently 4dpo and I have been VERY gassy and bloated, and a bit nauseous and tired. But I honestly didn't think anything of it since I don't know if any symptoms can come about this early. But then just now, in the washroom there was a small mucousy blood clot type thing and when I wiped, it was fresh red blood. Not much at all but enough for me to notice. Should I be worried?

Nessa84, had this stopped? Could it be implantation bleeding? I had this with ds2.
Am not sure what is happening with my cycles, we had our one attempt on Thursday am, but no peak on cb monitor so shifting to e4d's so attempting early Monday, my boobs are so sore and getting slight nursing aversion could thus be a sign that my body is trying to o? How else is attempting now? Or is in 2 ww? Gl everyone. I have an hour exercise to do before bed! :-(

Not sure Nessa84, it could be period related but would that not be early for period? Seems more like pregnancy related/ implantation related? After my attempt last Thursday I have no symptoms but sore breasts, not hopeful for this cycle but attempting tonight anyway!

Oh wow Nessa, congats! I think you are pregnant from the last cycle if you are only 4dpo.
I am concerned about the extreme back pain so I think you should get it checked out to make sure its not ectopic. Is the pain more on one side? Sorry for the negativity but I'm currently paranoid about mine being ectopic so I google the symptoms a lot.
When was your last period?

Yes it was a very very strong positive and then I took a clear blue test and it said 2-3 weeks so I must have been pregnant while I was trying to get pregnant...... I posted this in another thread so I didn't clutter this one up. I've tried to add a picture but I can't seem to attach it I'm not sure how to do it... I am completely clueless about my cycle as I had no idea I was ovulating when I did.

XX, I remember you lol saw a while back you were gonna try one more sway too and was kind of hoping we'd end up chatting again. Angela is 9 months and fantastic :) biggest reason I am having one more is for her honestly her other two sisters are so much older than her and Angela LOVES babies lol.. She gets so excited and happy when she sees other babies. She has a preference for little boys so I am hoping..... I'll take all the blue dust you can throw Other day when I got my positive OPK our oldest had a 15 month old little boy attached to her hip at the park and he had the name we have picked out for our boy if we are so lucky... It is me hoping that was a 'sign' of sorts... Fingers are crossed..

Oh that's awesome Burakoam! I would definitely take that as a sign! I totally know what you mean wanting another for your DD3. My DS1 and DS2 are best friends, and while they adore my DS3, I worry about him when he gets older. My older boys will be in to different things, and I want him to have someone to play with. My Aaron loves to play with babies too. He gets so excited when there is a baby close to his age that he can play with.
Are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding Angela? I'm breastfeeding Aaron still, but he eats solids twice a day, and honestly, he could eat three times a day. He's so big! He's almost 21 pounds at 7.5 months! My cycle is all over the place from the breastfeeding. Aaron likes it still, so I'm keeping it up.

Breastfed her until 2-3 weeks ago when I started giving her a little more formula each day and now it's pretty 50/50 but overall I think she has more formula intake at this point. She loves breastfeeding but her two top teeth are in now and she has been leaving teeth marks and it feels like razors sometimes so I feel less guilty about weening her.. Lol. I know it's a latch issue but with TTC and the fact she is doing great on the formula and only has a few months before whole milk I am not super concerned about it.
She started solids at 4 months though and has done great on those since. She isn't a big fan of the stage 3 foods so for the most part I just let her have what we are having at this point so long as it's mashed/chopped well.
Omg what a big healthy boy you have got!!! Angela runs at the 50th percentile for weight but it's because she is so LONG she is in the 90 percentiles for length.

I sort of feel like that xxforhubby, when I was pregnant with ds2, I was in a dd group and I was late to find out gender the majority all had girls, I know biology does not work like that but I felt statistically someone has to have a boy, somebody, somebody has to you see, then the somebody somebody happened to be me. Out of 30 pregnancies there were two boys!

6 DPO here and zero symptoms, which I guess is normal. I might test around 12 DPO, not before that.
In my first pregnancy it took 7 days past my period due day to get a positive in a test strip. I took 2 tests before that and was repeating every 2 days and still nothing. I had implantation bleeding 10 DPO and around 14DPO I got really bad pain in my boobs.
What, in your opinion, is the best HPT? I read bad reviews lately about FRER, a lot of false positives... and also problems with clearblue... Which tests do you use? I still have lots of strips but although the package says extra sensitive, they won't work until a week after AF is due, which is soooo boring!

I am similar, don't have a clue what dpo I am, but my af usually arrives cd 25, currently on cd 18, had a really late O last month so af did not arrive until cd 30, I never have two long cycles in a row. My temps are starting to dip and I have zero symptoms, I do have extreme exhaustion but like you said I had that last month and wondered if it was a sign, it clear was not! I have a wee pot belly this morning, always a sign of af, at least it will arrive early this month and I can move on to August, cannot believe it I would have expected to be nearly through the first trimester by now! I have stuck to the diet and exercise this time, though I dropped exercise down to 5 days. Feel good about that, so will be on for August! X

Maggie84 are you swaying pink or blue? Am amazed at how early some ladies can get positive pregnancy tests, with all three of my pregnancies I got stark white negatives until dpo 14, so I will hope to hold off until then, af is likely to arrive before then so I will save the money on tests, I have found the cheap tests by tesco or super drug work best but am not an early tester! Good luck everyone, fingers crossed for us all x

The earliest BFPs I have got were 10dpo (DS2 and mc#2) and they were with FRERs. This current pregnancy I got a BFN on 10dpo (although it had the 'shadow line') and then the BFP was 15dpo. I probably would have got a BFP earlier but I wasn't testing since I had AF!
The ebay strips are always really faint but the earliest I have seen a super faint BFP is 11dpo. They aren't very sensitive at all, I tested Sunday and it wasn't that dark even though my levels were 2500 on Monday morning, I was so surprised when I heard that was my level!
I don't like tests with blue dye as I have been tricked by one of those before too. I'm not really sure which are the best, I think they all have issues when testing early as shadow lines or evaps can give false hope. It is probably better waiting until later to test but that can be hard to resist!

Burakoam that sounds promising, sounds like something is definitely happening. I never trust symptoms in the 2 ww as I was so convinced I was pregnant in Jan and it was not the case. For me symptoms of early pregnancy and af are similar. Am cd 19, no real symptoms to mention. Af normally arrives cd 22-27, average is 25. But I had a really long cycle last month and when that happens the next month usually is short so we will see. Least it would mean af come early and can on to August. Good luck everyone! Only symptoms I have actually are greasy hair and bloating but these are usual signs of af!

sorry to hear jennypenny :( I'm having same problem with my cycles and ov date. Hope your GP can help you out.
Dreaming blue I'm not bothering with PH. I have only done BS finger once and it didn't agree with me!! When I say that I mean I had loats of watery discharge straight away and felt wet for ages afterward (this was on cd 10 or something) I think my body reacted to it and tried to flush it out. It stung a bit too and made me "puffy". I know they use it a lot on some forums but I've stuck with preseed as it seems to agree with me more, which I think has a neutral or just slight alkaline ph.
good luck Maggie that's not long to wait. for some reason the tww seems to go past so slowly. I'm only 3dpo :( so at least another 9 days to wait for me xxx

He had no idea what he was doing! Spent most of the time trying to get me to order a book called 'understanding fertily ' he sat browsing through Amazon for 10 minutes looking for it!!!- even after I had told him I already understand my fertily.
He then looked through a doctor's book admiring the layout, and found something about testing progesterone.
He said to come back one week before my next period is due to test progesterone levels. Does anybody know if this sounds correct?

Ugh! I would've been mad too!
Progesterone is usually done on CD21, so depending on how long your cycles are that may work out to be a week before your period is due. Just make sure he orders is ahead of time and the blood is drawn as close to CD21 as possible. CD19-23 is fine since CD21 can be on a Saturday or Sunday for some people.

Jennypenny do you track when you ovulate? The progesterone test should be done 6-7 days after ovulation. So if you only ovulate on CD18, going on CD21 won't tell you what you need to know. If you are having differing length periods that means you are ovulating at different times most likely as LP's usually stay the same.
jennypenny
July 13th, 2016, 01:34 PM
I usually ovulate cd14/15 and cycle length is 28/29 days. Usually start spotting from day 26 for a few days before AF starts full force.
This month though I had random spotting cd16/17 which I though must be late ovulation (I don't usually have ovulation spotting) pretty random! !
Hopefully I have have a regular ovulation in august and can get some acurate readings from blood results on cd21.
Thanks for all your advice everyone xxx

Jenny- my cycles were like that before I got pregnant with my daughter... Between 27-36 cd's long but always different. It went on for 6 months before I went back to my doctor who said to him that sounded like I wasn't ovulating. He put me in clomid and I got pregnant that month. Keep in mind I was getting flashing smileys and solids so per my OPKS I was ovulating but it sure seems that wasn't the case since one cycle of clomid and bam that's all it took..I would maybe seek out a different Doctor Jenny...

I'm from USA. My tests and hormone panel were normal actually so they had no reason at first to suspect I wasn't ovulating, it was my symptoms I was describing and a lack of achieving pregnancy though supposedly pin pointing ovulation. I was hyper emotional, felt like I was having hot flashes at times and my cycles were never the same month to month. One month it would be 28 days next it would be 32 then 27 then 36. He also suspected despite my normal hormone panel I had some mild form of PCOS so I think that's why he did what he did.. And it worked so I only assume he was right.
My temp is 99.5 ladies. Haven't temped regularly since my last baby but I remember it was around this high when I ovulated on clomid. Errrrggg trying to not get excited. Failing lol

jenny I am in the uk. Firstly you need to have 21 day blood tests. Although called this as others have said they need to be roughly 6/7 days after ov, 21 days is besed on a perfect 28 day cycle. This will tell if you are ovulating or not. You may need to go back for 2 of these over 2 months. Next port of call is clomid. In the uk they seem reluctant to hand it out, mainly because unlike in the USA or elsewhere, clomid alone will not have you monitored with scans etc to check for follicle growth or to ensure no OHHS. You should get clomid no bother from a gp but they will usually only give you 3 cycles on it. After then unfortunately you need to refer for further testing usually at an assisted fertility unit where they can do scans, take further blood tests and discuss where to go next. If its a blockage on your tubes etc it can be treated. The main hurdle you may face is sadly, like me, you have children already and depending where you live etc you will not qualify for free treatment to conceive or IVF. Obviously if you need to go down one of the more extreme ways to conceive be prepared to have to pay privately :( Fingers crossed it wont come to that but just so your aware theres only so far you can go with the NHS when you have children already. IVF in the UK costs between 5-7k depending on why its needed and for me, if I'm paying that, I'm going abroad for PGD to get the sex I want. You cannot specify which sex you want over here as its illegal :( grrr......
I'm hoping it will be something simple sorted so go back, see another GP and say you don't think you are ovulating and you have been tracking it for months. Blood tests should be first then clomid if you are found to be not ovulating. If you are I'm afraid it will be a sperm count for your DH and a scan for you to check for anything abnormal physically. Don't just let them fob you off. all the luck in the world xxx

Am cd 20 tomorrow, but am super bloated and feel af is on the way, I had a short lp last month 8 or 9 days. Atomic recommended I increase eggs to 4- 6 per week a portion of diary every day and one portion of red meat per week, I had hoped that would have resolved short lp, so disappointed that it has not worked. According to ff my timing was spot on this month, this is such a disappointing and frustrating process. Good luck to everyone else still in, keep everything crossed for you all x

Crap I think i jumped the gun.... Something isn't right... I just couldn't believe the heaps of EWCM I've had today so I took another OPK and its solid... Like beyond solid actually. Solid face is there but the result line is the darkest result line I've ever had and that's counting a clomid cycle.. The line on Saturday was the same shade as the test line... This line is mega dark. Last time I DTD was yesterday and hubby wouldn't touch me today so I'm depressed. I think I screwed up my own boy sway because of the solid smiley on Saturday :(

What cd are you? I had loads of EWCM last month Pretty much throughout the whole month but I think it was an annovulatory cycle in my case. I would try and jump hubby as much as poss if you can, that's how (in amongst lots of other very boy friendly ways) I inadvertently conceived my three boys! Hips up on a pillow and a long lie after too!x

Can you not convince your dh to have another go? You always have a shot at blue and remember you have been following the boy diet and that is a big sway factor, so that still counts irrespective of the number of attempts. I conceived ds2 ( I was not swaying at the time) with one attempt in the fertile window about 2 days before o. I had a very blue lifestyle at the time, which I did not know at the time! Good luck x

jenny I am in the uk.

I am just still in shock I guess. I've had the worst 3 days in history as far as stress goes and I'm ovulating now and not when I was cool/relaxed during the weekend? Just doesn't make sense. My body is all sorts of confused. Yes I have been following the boy diet but it's still so nerve wrecking... Your story about 2 days from o and still having a boy helps though..I'm going to try jumping hubby in the AM

This is not accurate. Progesterone levels should be tested 7dpo (that is when they peak), which varies a lot! That will be 7 days before your AF if you do have 14 days luteal phase, but in the case you don't then it is just wrong.
I just had progesterone tested today and it is CD24 for me. Doctors will like to see progesterone levels >10 in a normal cycle and >15 in medicated cycles (which is my case). I will have the results tomorrow! FX I ovulated and the precribed medication is working!
I think you should find another doctor if you don't feel confortable with this one...
Waste of time at gp!
So stressed out!

Just wanted to add, that since yesterday I am having light cramps, and a lot of pain in my lower back and hips. Just reminded me I had this extreme hip pain the day prior to implantation bleeding on my first pregnancy. It was so bad I was having problems walking and had to take ibuprofen (in my mind that cycle was ruined because I BD 5 days prior to ov). I don't know if it was a pregnancy related symptom, I never thought about it like that... until yesterday!
I don't have AF cramps until the day before, and it's still a week until my period is due! I am hoping this is a good sign...
Anyone had cramps/ back pain around 6-7 dpo and then got a BFP?

I don't know about cramps with implantation but I had god awful cramps at 3 am. I woke up to rock 9 month old back to sleep and as I laid in bed I would have swore AF was coming for a good 20 minutes :(.
I did manage to convince hubby but not sure it did any good since he wouldn't move cause he was tired so the best I got was me on top and now I'm laying in bed struggling to keep any in. Also sneezed like a minute after flipping in my back... TTC struggles...

WOW! Let's hope so! I am not charting my temps, but temp rising sounds very promising!
My back ache is much better today and I think the cramps are gone (they were very mild). I only had implantation bleeding 10dpo with baby#1 but I am hoping this could be a sign of implantation around 7-8dpo, which is not uncommon.
FX! Can't wait to start seeing some BFP showing up in this group! :)

CD 28, 13 DPO for me and a BFN this morning. AF should be arriving tomorrow night so moving onto cycle 3. Super bummed that the second round of Clomid didn't work :tissue: I am taking Clomid (50 mg) for sway tactics only.
My DH is starting to get so annoyed (actually, more like pissed) with this entire process and wants to have LOTS of attempts in the fertile period like we did when conceiving DS (who was conceived during first month when I was in a VERY boy-friendly lifestyle).
Atomic suggested moving to BD every 4 days OR BD every 4 days with an additional attempt at positive OPK. Not sure which route I am going to go. I feel like the Clomid combined with the LE diet, daily exercise and 15 pound weight loss is making me too infertile, so while 2 attempts in the fertile window freak me out, I am starting to wonder if I really do need that in order to conceive at all while taking Clomid. Thoughts anyone?

JenC, my youngest daughter was a clomid baby and the week leading up to a positive OPK i wouldnt let hubby touch me but then we DTD friday night when it went positive, saturday morning and night, and sunday morning and night...she is all girl. Can confirm now with all the knowledge i have that i lived a very girl friendly lifestyle so if you have been doing well with your diet and excersise i say you will be safe to add more attempts.

Fingers crossed! My cramps are back! Seriously I never felt something like this before. This is my first cycle on Femara, but my 4th on progesterone (Duphaston) because I had 3 cycles prior to this one for endometrium thickening on progesterone. So I know the symptoms already, and this is not because I am taking Duphaston. Normally I just get bloated and gain a pound or two....
I have like a ton of test strips, I am just fighting the urge to use them!

I have never got a bfp before 14 dpo, which would be next Wednesday but think af, will arrive before then! Got some things I want to tighten up for next month diet wise, but if I am not successful next month, not sure how I will feel about month 4! Good luck everyone! X

OMG OMG OMG! Got my progesterone results back and I'm trying not to read too much into them, but totally failing! :running:
So I got 38 as a result, and on my lab sheet there is the following info:
Pre-ov phase: 0.057 - 0.89 ng/ml
Ov phase: 0.11 - 11.96 ng/ml
Luteal phase: 1.83 - 23.38 ng/ml
I know that for medicated cycles doctors like progesterone >15 and this means Femara worked for inducing ovulation, for sure.
So, if I am over 23.38 what does this mean? If progesterone levels >25 it is supposed to be a normal level for 1st trimester (viable intrauterine pregnancy). I am so happy at least to know that after a year without even O, my first cycle on Femara is working as it should, and that I still have chances of getting my BFP this month :)
I have lots of test strips so my guess is that I will be trying them every morning until either BFP or AF shows up! FX!

Maggie, Progesterone level is great but you can't read anything into them at this point as they peak at 7 DPO in a cycle and if you are not pregnant the levels drop quickly after. Take me for example, last month I was on Femera as well and my 6dpo progesterone level was 29.44. (keep in mind I take progesterone supplements starting at 3dpo) When I had my labs redone again at 13 DPO my progesterone levels dropped to 8.07 even being on the supplements. So really 7 DPO bloodwork is only good at telling you if you ovulated. Fingers crossed you get a BFP this cycle though.
I am 6-7 DPO today so will test on Monday or Tuesday morning I think, progesterone level was 22.54 yesterday at 5-6 DPO. Fingers crossed this is the cycle, if it is my due date would be April 1.

Inforthree, I normally ovulate the day after an opk+ but have had false surges so keep up bding e4d just in case it was a false surge. Can you post the link to your chart?
I just read you haven't temped every day... if that is the case you can't know from a one off temp. Still keep up the e4d. Some women ovulate 2 days after opk+ too.

I'm not sure I'll have to figure out how to post a chart, I'm just using the glow app not ff.
I did one attempt at opk, but maybe I'll BD Sunday for ED4. I had o cramps and pains so hopefully something has happened...

sorry girlie, its crap. after 4 months I'm at the point of convincing myself I don't care, but I actually do. Onwards and forwards to next month I hope you can get some help from your GP but I know they wont usually start investigating until you have been ttc for over 12 months :( have you tried some of the things that can lenthen luteal phase? ask atomic theres certain supps etc
in for three I started charting again but sadly my line looks like the stock market. Its up and down more than a hookers pants! so ive given up again, I don't think I sleep too well and I get up twice a night for wees so its not reliable for me.
hope everyone else is holding out. if af holds off I'm testing Friday but it seems an age away at the moment xxx

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate all your comments, am just really sad today and am having lunch with two lovely, happily pregnant ladies. Timing socks! I asked atomic last month and she suggested I add 4-6 eggs, a portion of red meat per week and daily dairy portion, which I have done. I agree that the gp won't help but thought I might get the ball rolling! Good luck everyone and hope you don't join me in August! Will be keeping on this post to cheer you guys on! X

Af arrived, am just so gutted! I just sat and cried. It is the middle of the night here. Pretty perfect attempts both this month and last and a 9 day lp, why can't I get pregnant?
Good luck everyone else who is attempting or waiting to test! X
Know how you feel!! I'm cd 2 today after 2 days of light spotting first.
Hopefully august will be both our month!!

Don't hate me but it's the only comfort I have girlie... It's important to remember the average these days for a perfectly healthy couple and ovulating woman to take up to a year to get pregnant. I remember TTC my previous baby and it was the longest 7 months of my life. I bawled every time AF came for months on end it seems. I am hoping I can handle it better this time but my heart bleeds for you because I've been there.
I was just reading the stats on how long it takes most people on average to conceive and i totally agree, it did bring me comfort too x

I told my gp that I had been trying for a year as I knew they wouldn't be willing to test otherwise.
My lp has been getting shorter for the last 2-3 cycles. I'm getting a blood test done 7dpo to check all my Levels out.
I just want to make sure things are ok and if there is anything I can do to help things along a bit (without swaying blue too much! )

AF arrived this morning and I am just devastated. I was two days late and I had gotten a faint positive on a FRER yesterday morning so I was really hoping I was going to see a solid BFP in the next few days. I am now wondering if it was a chemical...I started testing early at 12 DPO and since it was negative I had made up my mind days ago I wasn't pregnant but then of course AF had to be late...I've had a 28 day cycle for 8 months. So annoying. And to top if off one of my good friends texted me last night that she was pregnant (on first cycle). UGH.
I am so emotional this morning and DH isn't helping. He is incredibly annoyed with this whole swaying process and is becoming insistent that we need to BD every day in order to get pregnant (which we did when conceiving DS on first cycle). I am going to try for two attempts for this third cycle but if that doesn't work I have a feeling he is going to get even more upset. How is everyone else's DH dealing with the swaying? Mine thinks it's all crap even though I've pointed him to specific studies proving that increased fertility produces more boys while decreased produces more girls. He's annoyed with my vegetarian/LE diet, he thinks I've lost too much weight and am too skinny, thinks I am crazy for taking the Clomid for sway tactics, and he finds my daily hour of exercise pointless. He thinks we have the same odds of having a girl with or without all of this swaying. I feel like it's so easy for him to judge since he's got his boy already. Anyways, just venting.

jenc, my husband was the exact same. I had to keep a lot of what I was doing to myself. I totally feel your pain but soon enough it will all be worth it. You know deep in your heart that this is what you want to do and what you believe in. Stay true to that. Don't let anyone throw you off your game especially when they don't understand or believe in it and like you said, he already has his boy. When I say it will all be 'worth it' what I mean is that in the end you will feel good giving the sway your best shot. Regardless of the outcome, you won't have to live with "what if". Its a short sacrifice, for a possible wonderful outcome. Stay strong!

You will see higher temps vaginally than you did when temping orally. It also is not uncommon to have higher than normal temps during AF. You will start to see a normal biphasic pattern as you continue to temp.

JenC- if you want to keep swaying, then I would throw your DH a bone and start BDing every 4 days starting when AF ends. That way, you are having sex more frequently AND only having one attempt in your fertile window still. If you decide to BD every 4 days, you would BD on Monday and then again on Friday for example. Continue BDing until you get past the latest CD you've ever ovulated OR until CD22.
A bonus is you can ditch the opks! You may want to still temp though if you're doing that to keep tabs on your cycle. I found that my DH is totally fine BDing every 3-4 days and hasn't really noticed the other stuff I'm doing (diet and exercise).

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement Nessa! I think I need to go down the same route you did and stop talking to my DH about this process as often as I do now. I also need to do a better job of keeping it all in perspective and to keep reminding myself...short term losses, long term gains and even if it doesn't end the way I want it to, at least I know I tried everything within my power to make it happen. I am so glad that we all have support on this board from women who understand exactly what we are all going through and feeling! Thank you again :-)

Thank you XXforhubby! Since this will be our third round on Clomid, Atomic suggested the e4d plus one attempt at positive OPK. I told my DH a few days ago that we will have two attempts at the end of the month, which he was still annoyed about but seemed pleased we would at least have one more attempt than the last two failed months. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Sorry af arrived, I feel exactly like you, I am cd 2 and was so devastated when af arrived. It sounds to me like you had a chemical. In my case af arrived at 9 dpo, I did the usual routine of, when af started maybe it's implantation bleeding. Then maybe it was late implantation and the bleeding will stop, before I gave in to the despair and accepted I was not successful this month. My husband is not a fan if sway in ng and after seeing how upset I have been over the past few days he thinks we should just give it all. My three children ( girl, boy, boy) were allconceivex

Sorry my phone Is playing up. Conceived first attempt, my ds1 conceived before I had had a period from having dd, while breast feeding and with an undiagnosed thyroid problem. Ds2 was conceived with one attempt in the fertile window 2 days before o. Now I cannot get pregnant with attempts at o!
Not sure how much longer I can ride this roller coaster of emotion and I feel my life is on hold a little. I just wish I could let go and count my blessing!

I think I'm getting the flu :( woke up this am and felt so weak. Body aches like when you get a fever but I didn't feel like I had a fever other than that so I thought nothing of it... Got worse in a movie theater when I did start to feel hot and flushed... Came home and my temp is 99.8 if my thermometer is to be believed... It's a crappy ear one so I think it is possible it's more like 100 . Something...I still don't feel all that feverish just achy and flushed but I guess it's cause it's at max a low grade fever? I've got to spend the next 3 days at the hospital with my oldest and youngest cause oldest is having an EEG study done.. Hope today is just weird and I feel better tomorrow :(

I feel so much like you do! And it's so weird, my husband is a LEGIT scientist (a physicist) and he also thinks all this stuff is silly. It's annoying because he used to really want a girl, now he is saying he would be just as happy with another boy. I am not going to lie. I would be happy with another boy, but not JUST AS happy. I would be happiest with a girl and a balanced family.
My husband also wants to have sex more because he thinks trying just once won't work - even though we DID get pregnant last month with ONE attempt (chemical pregnancy)!!!! Sometimes smart people can act so dumb! Lol. I love him. He's just silly!
I look at it like this: I really do want a baby, yes, and I want to be pregnant soon, but, the longer it takes, the better chances that I will get my girl! I have been quite lacking with the L.E. diet and I am only now starting to exercise an hour every day. I need more time anyway! But we're still trying every fertile period. Just once day before or day of OPK. I figure it will take time to get pregnant and I would have actually done a decent sway!
Keep up the good work! You will get your BFP soon!

I'm not sure what's happening with me..... On Thursday I had a load of ewcm and even some tinged with pink, then on Friday morning I had an almost positive opk, then another on Friday afternoon a little darker but again not as dark as the control line, so I done another about 9pm, again dark but not peak, Dtd, went to bed, done another opk at 11am Saturday it was again dark but not as dark as the night before, since then it's been lighter and lighter and then today almost impossible to see.
Is it possible my peak was through the night and I missed it? Or would you say I didn't ovulate?
We have Dtd every day just to make sure it's covered if I did , it does tie in with my cycle too - I know it's a waiting game now but ahhhh it's driving me insane!!!

Hello everyone Im back I was on here once before, lost track for a minute. So how is everyone doing? It is getting closer to my time on ttc again AF should be showing up within days, and then Ive been ovulating about 9 days after, which before I started trying to sway I was always ovulating on the 14th day after, so Im not to sure if that has anything to do with why I did not get pg when we tried in June, I am super excited to try again yet nervous and scared, I hate the part where you think it happened and AF shows it's so depressing. Anyone else supposed to ovulate beginning of August? Really looking for a buddy on here. I dont have anyone to talk to besides the hubs, but sometimes you just need a another women to talk to, you know. No knows we are ttc again they would probably just have alot of bad things to say and tell us we will just have another girl which I just don't want to hear right now, so we are waiting until we find out what we are having to tell anyone, or I might just wait until I really start showing and just let people ask me if I'm pg. anyone else hoping for boy?

Hi all! I had a chemical this last weekend and am currently on CD3. Since I am taking Clomid Atomic told me to always test on CD3 to make sure it was negative. The FRER was totally negative this morning but the OPK test I took was positive...I know there is no way I am ovulating as it's only CD3 and I usually always O on CD15. Would the chemical pregnancy cause the OPK to turn positive? I am still planning on starting Clomid tonight since FRER was negative but the positive OPK is confusing me...
