If I was you I'd try to incorporate a few more "good fats" in that diet, like oily fish (salmon, tuna), avacado and nuts. I ate so much of those sorts of foods when I conceived my boys. I also drank oodles of black tea with full fat milk.

I know arginine can potentially throw off cycles. And you should take a folate along with your husband.

In general, I'm not sure I follow the snacks -- I know balancing carbs and protein is the general rec. I know the "junk food" type diet is a leftover from IG, and plenty of moms got boys that way, but snacks of chips and granola bars on their own seems more LE than HE.

So you think i should eliminate Arginine?

I would like to see you guys doing more fruit and veg than you are and less chips. Potato chips do not make boys, they just add calories that will make you gain weight.

Drop arginine for you, it's caused tons of problems and a lot of our sway opposites were in people who used it. DH can use it though.

I would prefer DH took a multivitamin that had folate, E and zinc in it.

Do not take arginine during pregnancy!!!

Agree totally. You need to be getting a fair amount of fat and that should primarily be from animal sourced fats and not things like veg. oils and margarine.

Re green tea in pill form, I prefer the actual tea itself as the pills are so highly concentrated they may act as medicine and can also really mess with ovulating.

Wehn swaying blue, more is not always better. Sometimes some is just right, more is too much. :)

If you do need to add in a snack, then do something more "whole foodsy" like cheese or nuts or a Larabar (granola bars are practically candy, esp. the rice based ones, those burn off in about 2 minutes).
