Just clarifying....As long as we stay under 60g of fat, we're good right? And while I'm at it, I try to stay just under 50g of protein too. This is what everyone else is doing too right? :nails: I am also trying to keep my calorie intake around 1500. Man, with keeping protein under 50g you kind of HAVE to go vegetarian! EEK! And since I'm not taking calcium and magnesium as IG suggests, it's ok that I drink a lot of dairy right? Or should I be dairy free?

I think I've got the hang of this, just want to make sure! Thanks!

Re: dairy, limit this to skim/fat-free dairy, and don't eat too much of it. It's good to eat to get your protein levels up if they are low or you are eating a vegetarian diet.

Yep. All sounds good. I agree it's impossible to stick to the protein limits without going vegetarian! If you search you'll find various threads where people log their daily food and some with good recipes to help inspire everyone.

There are two different variations - standard LE Diet which is 40-50 g protein, 30-60 g fat, and the PCOS-type diet which is 50-60 g protein and 50-60 g fat. you may want to be focusing mainly on vegetable sourced fats as studies have shown more female offspring conceived when most of your fat comes from veg fats.

Cals for most people are 1500-1800 cals a day. A large minority have to bump up to 1800-2000, a tiny minority drops to 1200-1500. I urge you to start off higher than you think you'll need and you can always cut back over time.

Yes, you're right, the protein limits means it is much easier to stick in limits as a vegetarian. :agree:

You can have dairy as long as you're in the limits for the day - but do keep in mind it is super nutrient dense and if you're getting a lot of dairy fat, it may boost fertility and sway a bit blue. So I'd possibly consider focusing more on non-dairy sources of fat.

Ok thank you so much! I've been eating crap lately while keeping all my levels, but going from paleo to this has been extremely difficult! I've started having some gallbladder inflammation. I get this when I've had a ton of carbs and bad fat! Thank you for clarifying! Sorry for all my questions this week! I'm starting to get the hang of this slowly! Starting to feel at peace with my sway. Also will be dropping aspirin and b12 as per your recommendation in another thread. I will just be doing zyrtec and folate. I'm also going to take up drinking.

No not at all D, I'd rather you ask me a zillion questions than have your gallbladder flaring up from eating things that you should not be eating. :agree:
