My youngest is now almost 14 months, but still no sign of post-partum AF. I took vitex for 14 days to line up with what would have been AF-O per my pre-pregnancy timing, but no signs of O at all. No CM, all I could see on the OPK was a control line.

Has anyone here tried acupuncture or something else to bring back their cycles? I'll try vitex again 14 days on/off because I have nothing to lose, but I'm kind of worried that I won't be able to ttc anytime remotely soon. It took about two years for my cycles to return and be regular with DS1.

It was a different situation but my SIL used acupuncture to try and conceive. It had been a full year of trying with no luck and her doctor didn't want to prescribe Clomid or anything else just yet so she saw an acupuncturist. She was getting fairly regular periods but her cycle was kind of all over the place. The acupuncturist said that she usually first works on getting cycles back on track which will then help with conceiving. It seemed to work for my SIL. She conceived a baby girl (mind you, her lifestyle was very girl-friendly) about 6 weeks later. Before the acupuncture, she seemed to be doing everything right (sex on the right day, not too much sex, using OPKs and taking BBT) but it just wasn't working. To me, it seems like it's worth a shot. At least for a few weeks. It certainly won't hurt anything.

I used acupuncture to conceive my DS3 when swaying last time. It worked to balance my hormones and regulate my period. I was doing Atomic's fertility diet and also taking vitamin d as I was terrible deficient.

There's actually science to back up the efficacy of acupuncture for many things. It definitely wouldn't hurt. Depending on where you live, there might be "community" places that are cheap, too, simply because you're not in a private room (I did this to get ready for labor -- had 3 sessions over 3 weeks for $60 USD total, and went into labor the day after the third

Thanks for the comments, ladies. I booked an appointment for next week. I'll update after a few treatments to say whether it worked, in case the info is helpful for anyone else on here.
