I asked " The Gender Experts" online and they have said its a boy?? they say nub is up 30 deg from spine??? It doesn't look real boy to me but I am not a gender expert!

Hmmm. Well with all of my boys, there was no nub to be seen at 13w5d. There was a clear scrotum and penis from all angles! I mean, I did not see a nub because his parts were clearly developed! I don't see anything like that in any of these pics, although they aren't the greatest.

I would expect to hear boy going into your gender scan but don't lose all hope for pink either!

I wish I had my scans from my boys to show you...I will dig around and post one of I find one so you can see what I mean.

So, my DD's nub was very similar at 13w. And apparently tricky enough that the tech didn't guess, even though she told us at the anatomy scan that she guesses based on nub theory at the nuchal if people ask.

Like my DD, angle or no, nub is too low and short at this gestation to be anything but girl imo.

I'm no expert but did you ask the sonographer who did the scan what he / she thought the baby was ? I know some really good ones in Melb who have never been wrong at 12 weeks if you want some contacts pm me.

At almost 14 weeks, there would have been a penis visible. Did the tech never do a potty shot or did you not want one? Why not do an elective scan? You realize the other site doesn't say who it is so it could be a 11 year old boy behind the scenes😉.

I still think your pics look more girl than boy. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in "The Gender Experts". I don't see how they could be any more accurate than any one of us who has been guessing from still shots on here for years. And we'll do it for free!

At nearly 14 weeks, neither of my boys nubs looked like this at all. There was a clear penis pointing straight up by this point.

Firstly, what an adorable baby you have there! That little stretch in the middle was too cute!

I didn't see any stacking at all and the nub is definitely parallel to the spine, so I'm definitely thinking girl!

Hopefully ob scans me tomorrow i wont be able to have an early gender scan now. Hubby and i keep fighting over it. Hes trying to protect me but i really need to know what it is so i can move on. So fingers crossed my ob can tell me at some stage

I see your hubby doesn't want an early gender scan....it's hard isn't it because neither did mine But my youngest was playing up so he had to leave the room with him and I quickly asked with my heart pounding out of my chest!! I really hope i can find out through my ob at some stage through my pregnancy and just keep it to myself id rather do it that way then have to travel 2 hrs then back to hrs and pay 150 for a gender scan and try to explain where i am!! I think doing it through my ob is the least stressful way around it

And hopefully your ob can see. Mine couldn't with my first because he was always in the wrong position but he could easily see he said with the second 2 although we didn't find out the sex with our second.

I did have a 'feeling' it was a girl and I just knew my other 2 were boys.....I had my 12wk scan done here in Melbourne at a place where the Dr says he can tell the sex with around 80% accuracy at 12wks but with me I was 13wks and measuring 13.5 and he told me that he was 100% certain it was a girl....and her nub was definitely different to the boys! I was excited and hopeful but not entirely convinced but he said he was without a doubt certain. Didn't cost me anything more than my other scans to see him

See. I have had a feeling too that this baby is a girl and i felt that my boys were boys. But i guess i never thought id have a girl after my failed ht etc i still dont feel like it would ever happen to me. Its just hard when my husband wont come to the party about finding out and hes not someone i can get around easily as i dont just go driving for 2hrs to melb ever! He will know what i am doing and i just dont want to cause friction in our marriage over gender of our baby.

Yes another healthy beautiful baby boy will be great and IF that's the case you have time to quietly come to peace with things, but I do think a lot of men are black and white (mine is too!) and it's hard for them to understand....ahhhhhhh
