Ok so usually I get a positive opk on the 8th of every month. However My husband and I didn't actually BD until the 11th of this month, that night. My question is, Is it possible I still could be pregnant. I swear, I felt nauseated and dizzy and sick after a few hours of BD. And I've had nausea these past few days that has been off and on. My right breast is sore. And I got sharp cramp pains for three days straight after we BD. It was only a few times a day. I didn't start experiencing any pregnancy symptoms when I was pregnant with my son until I was like 6-8 weeks along. So I'm not totally sure if it is actually pregnancy or something else going on. The earliest I can take a pregnancy test is on Tues. So what do you all think?

Well, the science says it would be too early. I think the symptoms you felt after BDing were psychological -- or you ovulated earlier than you thought and were already pregnant! However for the symptoms in the days following, I do think some women are more sensitive to hormones so even a slight change can have an effect.

My first symptoms were a severe aversion to coffee and an aversion to beer and my dog suddenly sleeping on my feet constantly. I would have been maybe a few days after ovulation, and I ended up getting a faint BFP at 8DPO. My coffee aversion has lasted until now, too! (5w2d postpartum)

I hope it is the case for you. In my experience the symptoms of pregnancy and af have been the same in the 2 ww! I get nauseous but what I have learnt is that it is too early to be pregnancy related. I try not to interpret early symptoms as it has made the disappointment greater when af arrived, good luck and fingers crossed for you! X

Also it could mean you were pregnant earlier than you thought, if your following Nessa84 story that is what happened to get, she had lots of symptoms but thought she was only 4 dpo but she was a fee weeks pregnant.

You can't have symptoms that fast - 7-10 days minimum usually.

Sometimes around ovulation you can have cramps in your uterus and tubes that are meant to move any fertilized egg down to implant, and this can cause definite cramps after O!!!

Additionally the progesterone rises after O and this can create some symptoms that are similar to pregnancy (since prog. makes many pregnancy symptoms too)

The other possibility is that you're pregnant from an earlier O than you thought!
