So my dating U/S is tomorrow and I'll be 8 wks 3 days according to my LMP. I'm starting to get nervous that I'll see the nub and that it will be a boy nub.....having a rough day emotionally today. The exhaustion today is aweful. I seem to have no patience with my kids and I wish I could have spent the day alone. I feel so guilty because Im not doing all the fun summer things I wanted to do with them because I have no energy and the nausea etc....UGH....

Anyway, do any of you think there is a chance I would see anything or will it just look like a teddybear shape? There are no hints at gender this early right?

Me again. Sorry, rough day. I just did the baking soda test, and got a girl result. No fizz at all. Pee just sat on top of the baking soda. I know it's totally lame and not likely accurate at all but it's giving me some hope....wish I could have a do over on this day...sigh.

I think 8+3 is far too early for a nub shot nub shots are between 12-14 weeks 12 weeks still may be early for some too as the nub still has time to rise I think the perfect time to see a good nub shot for gender is 13 weeks.

BR I can copy/paste it here if you like or I can just leave it on part 2 then go back and edit as needed. Whatever you ladies prefer.

Pinkhelp, nub guesses are completely pointless at 8 weeks. ALL babies have nubs at that point, boy or girl. Nub guesses are only useful around 12-13 weeks and even then are not 100%. Also, the Y chromosome isn't even activated until 10 weeks so babies are all basically the same at the point you're at. I've done the baking soda test (totally for fun as I don't believe in it) and have gotten both girl and boy results. Ramzi isn't always accurate and often times the image is flipped or taken from a certain angle where baby looks to be on one particular side but isn't. This baby was on my left at my 6 week scan (which is girl according to ramzi) but I don't put any stock into it whatsoever. Supposedly ramzi theory is only accurate around 6-7 weeks. Please don't get upset if you have your scan and baby is on the "boy" side. It's rubbish. Can you have the NIPT done so you can find out gender soon? It might help ease your anxiety over gender instead of fretting for the next couple of months.

pinkin2011

Have any of you ladies ever used " The Gender experts " to predict gender iff a nub picture? I sent some pics off to them yesterday along with 10 dollars. They said my baby is a boy! Just curious if anyone else has used them?

Babygirlquest
July 20th, 2016, 05:38 PM
I've heard the gender experts are wrong heaps pinkin! Wouldn't put any stock in that at all!

Pink help, Ramzi is a load of nonsense. Even dr Ramzi himself kept getting it wrong! If you really want to know early, I'd pay to do one of the nipt tests. It's really the only way you'd can know before gender scan. Even nubs aren't 100% reliable, but you can make a pretty accurate guess if you get a good clear nub.

I don't see a nub and potty shots aren't reliable at 12 weeks, sorry. You should post this in the ultrasound forum for more guesses since this is a due date thread.

Hi guys. Doctor went good today. Baby is healthy. She did a check for me. Still girl.

But get this, no one knows really but my bff and hubs bff. And my mother in law has been hounding my husband since we found out on Saturday. Despite me telling her to stop, despite my repeat pleads to stop bothering me this pregnancy. I'm more private this time, a lot to do with depression. She hasn't listened or learned from me yelling at her. Today she crossed the line by asking my son about the gender. I blew up on her. All I wanted was one single week to myself with it. That's it. And she isn't respecting it. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160721/3a2b337cca3b542c2e01a44817e250f0.jpg

Gender experts guess my scan at 12 weeks a boy too haha there wasn't even a nub! I wouldn't trust them! I am having a girl! Confirmed it 3 times :)

I been so paranoid lately! I had pelvic bone pressure I dunno what else to call it. I need to call doc in morning and ask. I'm freaking out!

Sounds a bit like me, don't think you will feel better unless you know for sure as your mind will be whizzing around constantly. I had 13 week shot which people guessed girl at but had two blood tests, one home which was girl and other harmony which was boy. I had a 16 week scan which he said he was 80-90 percent sure it was a boy so I will have it confirmed next week at my five month scan. I miscarried a boy last year I have two boys already and this is our last child. Really pleased for everybody but have had to come off here for a while tho cos as pleased as I am it hurts that I'm not getting what I want so much. I just can't believe it.. Four times and four times a boy. Guess I'm not just meant to be a girl mum. Keep thinking maybe I can trick my husband in a year or so but it,e is running out as I'm 36 and it feels a bit mean and desperate to do that plus it will be most likely to be another boy! Been ok recently but think this is just a gutted day

Oh Pinklady it's understandable why you'd need some time away. It's a lot to process and it's a form of grief. Although I don't know what I'm having yet, I still hurt seeing others get girls. Like you I'm happy for them but feel sad for myself that it may never happen for me. Is HT an option for you in any way? If you can get your DH on board for another baby, maybe you could do a "secret" sway so he doesn't feel any pressure.

hi ladies. The U/S went well. Super quick. One baby. All looks healthy. Saw and heard the heartbeat. Baby measuring one day small. (so right on target from my lmp) She said anterior placenta almost near the top. (so don't know if it's more one side or the other) I have a super tipped back uterus so when it tips forward she said I could end up with placenta in fundal position (at the top). I've had one posterior and now 3 anterior placentas. Cant get pic to load. Any other way to send it?

Any ideas on how to keep gender a secret from family until baby is born? I normally would tell but my mom is already making negative comments about a third boy. :/ She said with my luck I'll have another boy. She hasn't been very positive about this pregnancy anyway, I think because she expected me to miscarry again. I can't deal with the negativity so I'm not going to tell her the gender, boy or girl. I don't feel it's fair to not tell her but then tell my MIL so I just want to keep it a secret altogether. They both know I have my anatomy scan soon and DH has made it very obvious to everyone that he wants to find out the gender. I was thinking of maybe saying we decided not to find out? Or something like baby's legs were crossed and we couldn't tell? I don't know what to do. I just wish we could hear girl then I wouldn't worry so much about all this. :/

So sweet BR! My 2.5 year old has been playing with his doll, pretending to feed it and put it to bed. It's so cute.
Yeah, I think saying something like baby wasn't cooperating would work although my mom might ask why I don't get an elective gender scan. The places around here aren't cheap though. I do plan on going around 7-8 months along for 3D/4D pics since I haven't done that before that far into pregnancy!

I had such a scare today I been getting pelvic pain pressure. So went to get checked midwife said I was 1 cm dilated and thinks my cervix is way shorter. So I had a scan tech said I am almost at 4cm like 3.8 something but Monday it was 4.75 and last week 5. But they said it can vary. So midwife send me down to labor and delivery I freaked out I have no contractions a main Doctor came to check me my main cervix is closed she consider me closed. I mean I panicked scared out of my life!

I am starting progesterone shots to be safe. Hopefully it goes thru quick for insurance. I know w all my kids my cervix is open 1cm from start but my cervix is closed. Tech said too I'm closed and I shouldn't be worried.

That's scary princess mom. I'm glad all is OK though.

Ksmom, I would tell them you couldn't see the gender so they back off.

I had to basically yell at my mother in law. I am hoping she backs off. She is the reason I have been more private. I feel like, no I know, she feels she has a right now know everything and be overly involved because she's the grandma. But that's not the case at all. I'll share what I want when I want. It's my body, my baby. Ugh. So she's made me miserable this pregnancy.

Princessmom, usually the cervix is always a little bit dilated after having children. Do you mean your cervical length is 4cm? That sounds pretty good to me. I think that's about what mine was with DS2 when I went in for spotting around 21 weeks. I know it can be scary though. I hope everything is okay.

K, I'm sorry your MIL is always in your business. I've been private about this pregnancy too and it drove DH crazy that he couldn't shout it from the rooftops immediately. Like you I just feel like this is MY (and DH's) business but no one else's. Your MIL needs to understand that there are boundaries you have set and she should politely respect those.

Hi I am due feb. According to my calculation feb 10 but the midwife keepster adjusting it. Went from my 10 to 8 to 5 and now it's 4..... it doesn't add up with my last period and cycle length.... is that normal.

It's my first pregnancy and we did a pink sway. My fiance has 3 boys and we did a vasovasectomy in Feb. Of this year.

We will have a gender ultrasound on august 1

Welcome Chrisje! It's totally normal for your due date to not match your last period date. It's usually way more accurate to go by ultrasound measurements. Is that what your midwife used? I also find out the gender on August 1st! Wouldn't you only be around 13 weeks then? Seems too early for gender then. Hope you hear pink.

Ksmom, yes she meassured me both times when I went for my ultrasound.
Yes I will be exactly 13 weeks and we are going to a lady who is specialized in gender ultrasound at 13 weeks. There are several places in the Netherlands where you can have a gender ultrasound at 13+ weeks this was 1 out of 2 Who does it at 13 weeks.
How fun and exciting that we will find out on the same day! 🍀

So we did the gender announcement on Saturday. We had a ton of people at my house for the birthday party of my youngest and decided to do it then. Apparently my mother in law bothered my husband so much because she is a whiney baby and feels like she had a right to know, he told her before hand to shut her up. So I am pissed. She claims she deleted the text. I don't believe her. Now I'm feeling even more secretive than ever. No one has a right to know anything. So I'm going to shut her completely out and see how she likes it. I'm ready for her to go home back to Washington, where she belongs. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160726/b76591405d002f4543bc21d9f78044f3.jpg

HI everyone. So I'm now a bit over 9 weeks and still debating on whether or not to do the panorama test this week. I'm fearful it's a boy. Extreme hunger has started this week. Bottomless pit in the evenings. Still have nausea but it's a bit better. I'm trying to stay hopeful. In reality it would take the same amount of calories to make a 7 lb baby girl as a 7 lb baby boy so hunger should be the same. I think my progesterone is going up and this could cause the hunger. I always get super hungry after ovulation for this reason. AH, not sure what to think or do...

It's a NIPT blood test that can be done as early as 9 weeks that can pull fetal dna from the mothers blood and tell gender and whether or not your baby has down syndrome etc. I think I'm going to go for it. I'm not sure if my anxiety over the gender will get worse or not if I wait. I dont want to obsess so much as I did with my 3rd son.

July 27th, 2016, 10:10 AM
Okay nipt is not available here unless you have a high risk/ encreased chance for down syndrome etc. Otherwise you can not get it in the Netherlands you can hoe to Belgium but will have to pay for it. It is free of charge when you have encreased chance...

Only $500 for me in BC. Still more than I could spend and didn't look into whether it could have been reimbursed.
I say go for it. I wish I would have. I have 3 more weeks till my 20week u/s and then who knows beyond that till I can find out and the waiting is awful. I am certain baby is boy #5 and just want confirmation so I can grieve never having a daughter and move on.

Pink help, if you're planning on finding out the gender regardless, I say take the Panorama. Much better than driving yourself nuts for another 10 weeks, IMO. I had it done and was very thankful to know so early so I could put my mind at ease (or wrap my mind around another boy had it gone that way). I feel like it's so much more stressful playing guessing games and analyzing every symptom you come across. Best of luck to you and I hope you hear pink whatever you decide!!

Ksmom hoping you hear pink! Can't wait for your results!

I went to a mfm last week he checked me out and said my cervix is completely normal and long and strong. Not sure if my reg doc will do another length check. But mfm said its perfectly fine and normal and so is my baby girl she is measuring 2 days ahead.

I also decided to try breastfeeding out! Well I am mostly going to pump and BF at night and while older two are at school. I been doing a ton of research and my insurance mays for the medela breast pump, I am so excited to experience it with my DD!

I am also trying to see if I should buy a belly band for my pelvic area, since my bones been bothering me. Doc said its completely normal and since its baby number 4. I hate taking Tyneol and all I do is lay down, not very active anymore.
Hope everyone is doing good!

I hope to breastfeed this time too princess mom. And I have the medela pump its awesome!!!! I pumped with ds1 as he wouldn't latch and ds2 would latch but had terrible reflux and I couldn't fill him up it was just an awful experience with ds2 until he was put on medication at 2 months. I had no help so I just gave up.. petty sad. But I hope to be able to get through it this time being my 3rd baby and a bit more confidence

I am really excited to try it out! It does seem like a lot more work to exclusive pump, I will see how my dd latches etc and go from there.
I been researching so much about it lately I become obsessive lol

I just wanted to chime in and say best of luck with breastfeeding. I've breastfed all of mine and will with this one. Not sure for how long. (11 months with first (and that was tooo long for me) then 7 months for the other two and that seemed about right for me) Also, I'll be getting some belly bands and hoping to get one with pelvic support too. With my second son, i tore my stomach muscles the whole way down (cant be fixed) so I really feel the weight of my belly when it grows and also i just plan to wear one after birth to help hold things in and hopefully lose the floppy belly faster. :)

It's nuts that I could know the gender this week! (if I chose to find out) I'm still thinking I"ll wait until we get back from holidays at this point. I have a prenatal check up tomorrow. I'll be 10 weeks so likely too early to hear the HB yet :)

My uterus is tilted too but lucky i never had a problem with scan because of it. Problem I had with baby at 13 week scan is no matter what they tried she would not lie in the right position for the downs screening.x

I don't know that I want to know whether baby is for sure the boy I am sure I am getting. I was sure I wanted to know...the not knowing is driving me a little nuts...but now as the time gets closer for my 20week scan, I don't know I want to hear "it's a boy". I mean...I want to hear "it's a girl" for once but I am sure this is another boy. And I'm not sure I'm prepared to be a mom to 5 boys. I don't know I'm the best candidate for 5 kids, lol.
I only found out with ds3 and I was so sure he was a girl that when I found out otherwise I was so upset and didn't enjoy any of the rest of my pregnancy with him. And that scares me for finding out...I definitely had the worst gender disappointment with him. I was disappointed for half a second that ds4 was a boy...partly because the boys all wanted another brother, partly because even though I was sure he was a girl...thought I had seen three little white lines during my anatomy scan...I was resigned to being the mom of boys.
I'm rambling. My mother in law killed what joy and excitement I had for this pregnancy last month when she told dh he should have gone behind my back and gotten a vasectomy since he was fine with having just 4 kids but I wanted one more. I keep thinking how fun and exciting it is shopping for baby stuff...receiving blankets...sleepers...cute clothes. After so many boys, I'm not liking the idea of gender neutral stuff...and think how amazing would it be to go browsing through the pink clothes. Ds3 likes pink but he's moving on from wanting to wear it anymore (was so cute, my mom made him pink cords and they were his favourite pants) and he didn't want the frilly, girly clothes...just simple stuff we could find in pink.
So then I don't know. Do I find out or wait it out. My midwife will know. It will be written on the ultrasound report she gets and I tell her if I want to know. Part of me worries she'll let something slip, if I say no, I don't want to know. And I do want to know...just not sure I want to know either. Sort of liking that right now...baby is Schrödinger's cat...both a boy and a girl because either possibility exists, even though I am sure it's a boy. And that was a cool moment with ds4...and partly what has me leaning towards not knowing...because I delivered him onto my own chest, nobody saw parts until I looked. And I got to hold him for a minute and just revel in his existence before seeing what he was. And I wonder if having that moment with him...to soak in his babyness...without any boy/girl thoughts...helped with the minimal gender disappointment.
Anyways...thought maybe writing out all my thoughts would help me figure it out...to find out or leave the knowledge with my midwife. I am really feeling torn. But also feel like I haven't been enjoying being pregnant since my mother in law found out and maybe knowing boy/girl would help me out there.
Feeling baby kicking would likely also help!! Can't believe I'm 18weeks pregnant with #5 and haven't felt a thing! (Had a midwife check Tuesday and heard heartbeat and midwife said baby was moving around...so know all is well...just can't feel anything.)

Raezodal- I will be finding out the gender soon, and I'm not sure I'm ready to hear boy #4 if it's a boy either. It makes the rest of the pregnancy so much harder....but I do feel like not knowing can really drive you crazy too! It's hard.....I'm trying to brace myself to hear a boy again....

Raezodal. With my 3rd boy i experianced gender disappointment. I never knew what it was until I heard the words it's a boy and my heart sank. I was still glad that I found out because then I was able to prepare myself and be ready for when my boy was born.
Before I found out I had this sinking feeling it was ging to be a boy all along.
I felt like I was preparing myself to hear boy this time so much that I didn't allow myself to think actually it did be a girl. I broken down in tears.
I still this ripping off the bandaid and finding out if it has been a boy was the best option. I think I did have completely gone nuts if I waited until the end to find out.

Hi all, how is everyone doing?
I've been so sick just like my other pregnancies but it started a bit late around week 7 and it's still going but getting better. Just the vomiting has stopped but no appetite yet, I'll be 13 weeks on Tuesday. I have been on (Cariban, 10mg) which helps sometimes. I'm not a medicine person, but anything that helps! I have lost over a stone in weight and had one round of iv fluids.
I have had so much help from my in laws, I don't know what I would have done without them, and they seem to be happy to help especially Mil.
I would have hired help if we didn't get along or something.
I'm actually debating whether to go for #5 or not. Just feeling down, I wish I never got this sick and ate whatever and not feel helpless, so I can be the mother my kids deserve! I know it's for a couple of weeks but I just can't keep relying on other people every time and they also know we're planning on having 5 kids! I had so much fun stuff planned for the kids this summer since the schools are closed, but we only managed to do some of them. Maybe I'm just rambling or just hormones talking here, but I kept thinking every time I would get better.

Anyways, I had my dating scan last Wednesday at 12 weeks 1 day, and I'm due on the 14th of February.
I didn't even ask the tech if she could see what baby was. The baby was facing towards us which made it too difficult to take measurements, so she had to do a lot of poking so the baby could turn, which was a bit uncomfortable. I have a feeling that this is boy #4.

I have some pics, I'll try to upload them

Not before my 20 weeks scan, so got a while to wait.
Somehow, I feel a lot less GD this time compared to my second baby, not that the desire is not there.
Although I did all that I could, I guess what's meant to be will be.
Sometimes I feel like my ds3 is the odd one out, my first two play together all the time (most of their toys are 3+/5+), so I have to entertain ds3 most of the time.

Sharon, that's looking girly with that fork.

Babygirlquest, twin girls is so exciting. If I had twins, I'd want twin girls. Their connection seems so strong.

I'm alive, I'm doing OK.
I had a scare on 8/3. I was shopping and almost passed out. Vision came and went, cold sweats, pale , slurred words, and it felt like my scalp head cold water running on it. I went to the ER . Mind you this isn't the first episode, but it is the worst. I ended up getting an EKG done, and had to wear a heart monitor for 24hrs. I have a heart murmur but they think there's more. So I have an echo scheduled for 8/10 and then I see a high risk OB the following Tuesday. I'm nervous. But my doctors are taking it serious.

Baby girl, Sofia, is wedging herself at the very edges of my uterus. It hurts and causes cramps. It's like she's backing into it. I feel kicks here and there but she isn't super active like my boy's were. She's still really high, getting closer to my ribs with her kicks. Bending has gotten difficult with my belly being so high. Other than that and my fainting episodes, I'm symptom free. Only gained about 2# thus far. So doing great on that.

Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar rather than high blood pressure. It can happen alongside low blood pressure. Just maybe worth getting your blood sugar checked if it happens again, just to rule it out. It can cause very scary symptoms like the slurring of speech, lack of balance, strange neurological symptoms.

I went straight to the hospital and they took my blood right away. So no, that's not it. The symptoms I had were me passing out. All those things happen right before you black out. And I was very very very close to hitting the ground and would have if my mom went holding me.

Ah well be careful with the low blood pressure. It can cause fainting spells and they are common in pregnancy. I hope it's nothing sinister and something easily fixed.

Sorry, I haven't much known what to say...so not saying anything.

I'm doing alright. Feeling super short of breath lately...going up my stairs or now for fun in the middle of the night feeling like I can't breathe lying down. Normal 3rd trimester stuff...didn't expect it at 19weeks.

Been on my own this week with my kiddos so keeping busy with them and by the end of the day I am completely beat.

Fun news was we got kittens...don't remember if I mentioned that. So admittedly watching their antics is also occupying my time. Two brothers...of course. No way to get XX genes in this house!!

5 days till my anatomy scan.

I'm so out of breath to still suffering with a silly cough. I have been to see my doctor again now on anti acid tablets told me to take them for a month before coming back. which have done nothing some days I am struggling to take a breath in so exhusted from it. He should have listened to me when I said the anti acid didn't do anything.
Hopefully I can try the pumps when I go back. Don't see why I have to struggling to breath all the time.
those kittens are soo cute.

I had my scan last week I'm so happy everything was good. Good luck with yours hope your is great too.a

it's the summer hols here and I have another 3 weeks before the children go back to school. This holiday has been one of the worst they have been so wild and I just cannot keep up with them.

Ah no!! I'm sorry the holidays haven't been good!!

Mine are on summer holidays for three more weeks too and they are really just getting to the point of seeing each other enough. We had enough going on in July - both sets of grandparents were here for a visit for a bit so only had 1 week of just us. My parents brought my 15 year old cousin with them and he was amazing with my boys - took them on bike rides, made up a new card game with them...they all got along when he was here...I could have happily kept him for longer. :D

I purchased a maternity band and it does help with belly heaviness and tightness.
I now learned I can't eat large meals heavy ones also because I get so bloated after esp on top of my belly under my chest it feels like I can't breathe.

Had another check up this week and everything is going great, doc said my cervix is perfect and I feel like my belly gets bigger everyday lol. My baby girl moves so much now, I am so excited for her!

I got my breast pump from my insurance the medela advanced :)

Hope everyone is doing great

I'm OK. No results on my heart monitor or echo. I see a high risk doctor on Tuesday. My anatomy is 23rd. I have been feeling her move more often now and that's nice. I can on occasion feel her on the outside too. My boy's started school so it's quiet in the house during the day. I watch my nephew and niece after school for a short time before their practices. Been trying to stay busy and exercise by walking more. I don't like the weight gain I've done. Although it's only a couple pounds, I'd rather not gain any until the third trimester. I have plenty to spare.

Well done I have been so busy this last week especially not sure how I put on a few pounds too even though it isn't much and I'm lower than the lower end of what should be healthy weight gain during pregnancy. I already had a little extra weight i could have done with losing still so i dont like putting the pounds on. I really cannot uave another big baby my 1st 2 were big and my gosh it really puts a strain on your body.
Isn't it amazing when you feel your little bubs move.
My hubby has been saying for days he can't feel anything. Maybe some squirmy movements but nothing he is sure is baby kicking until I caught him tonight following the kicks around my belly and he got all embarrassed and stopped. Love him.xx

Had my 20w anatomy scan today. Everything looked great. Baby was kicking and punching and rolling around so much the tech had a lot of trouble getting all the measurements and said I might have to come back to try again. Wasn't allowed to say anything on gender but could show me the general area while showing me pictures at the end. Very clearly baby boy #5. I'm surprisingly okay with it.

Just saw my consultant and after a long chat she sees no reason why I need to see her again unless the midwife feels there is a medical need. All cleared for a home birth if everything keeps going as well as it is. I have been booked in for the diabetes test and a growth scan at 38 weeks December 8th. But if this little one follows her brothers she may be born by then. Also after a chat about a problem that I have had since the birth of my 2nd son she will be booking me in for surgery.
She made me laugh that when they finished I will have a vaginia of an 18 year old again. Lol
I will have a designer vaginia.😂😂😂

HI Ladies. I thought I had written since my scan but i guess I hadn't? It went well. Baby was measuring one day ahead. I saw the nub right away sticking out past the bum. I didnt watch at all during the measurements, just after she brough my family in. the nub was there the whole time she scanned the baby. I was measuring 12+2 and I was 12+1 so right where i should be. I was sooo panicked and nervous that I felt like I didnt super enjoy it. Same with my DH. I decided afterwards that I want to wait until birth to find out. I know it's nuts but I just am not ready to know for sure. I think the nub could go either way. I didnt really see a thin white line like the other girl nubs but I also didnt see a sticking up nub like the boy nubs. The legs were in and out of view but the nub was sorta always there if you know what I mean. I do still feel like it's 50/50 for me. I'm still feeling pretty sick on and off and still taking my meds. I'll be 13 weeks soon. I got given one pic but nonub in it and i'm fine with that. :)

You should be able to remove it in Pay Pal from your pre-approved payments and it won't change anything on this site, it just means the payment won't be able to come out when you renew.

I couldn't tell you with my 1st as I didn't know I was pregnant with my 1st until 26 weeks. But with my 2nd I found out I had a tilted uterus and stayed behind my pubic bone until around 11-12weeks it was also like this with my 3rd. I remember at my 12 week scan the tech pushing really hard into my groin because it was all so low still. So this time round it was very much shocking that it was high. The tech at my gender scan at 16 weeks even commented that baby was sitting behind my belly button. Strange. Huh

At 13-14 wks it was at my belly button. And at 21wks now, it's just under my ribs. I was feeling her at 13weeks periodically. And thought I was insane because of the location.

I wouldn't have based any guesses on if you suddenly just pop or not. With 1st boy I wasn't showing until really late didn't find out I was pregnant until 26+.
2nd son I had a massive bloated bump right away.
3rd son i was hardly showing the day I have birth I was still high his head was only 2 5ths engaged and I look just about 6 months pregnant didn't look like I was ready to drop.
I again have a small bump this time. Was just down the school and I said i was now 25 weeks they were all like "wow I had a massive bump by now your so neat!"

Good Luck Sharon! I swear my bump is way higher than with my others. This is my 4th. I also have quite a bit of flab on top of my bump that goes to rolls when i lean etc that I never had with my other 3. My bump looks big because of this. I think i've been feeling the baby from time to time and it feels like it's at belly button height. I also saw the nub the whole time at my scan sharon. Mine looked blurry though and was past the bum the whole time. Good luck!

Congrats Sharon yay! If I am remembering correctly you and I are the only ones who have another daughter, having another girl is so special!

How is everyone doing? I will be 27 weeks Thursday! I hope these days fly by and it will be December asap lol. Pregnancy is stressful, everything is going great though my cervix is still the same long and strong, I do get the weekly progesterone shots called makena, after Tuesday I will have 9 shots left, I can't wait to be full term and bring my baby girl home and watch her grow!

So excited to breastfeed also, I probably will pump more than nurse mostly nurse at night or while older two are to school, so excited!

HI ladies. So I had my prenatal check up today. I'm 16 weeks today. Had a bit of a scare. The Dr couldn't find the heartbeat. She checked left and centre and right for a while and all around, then she had me pull my pants down low and she checked for it really low and by that time we were both silent and her face looked concerned. I then mentioned that I think I've been feeling the baby move a bit but I feel it up high so I dont know. She then looked grim and checked above my belly button and then bam there was the heartbeat. She said "HOW are you even up there!?" She said virtually every time she checks for a heartbeat she finds it in the lower area of the stomach. We were both surprised and relieved.....seems to be a trend on this thread!

Same thing with my girl. I'm 21 wks at my last appt and the doctor is looking here and there low down. Couldn't find her but could hear her kicking. She wanted the heartbeat so we did an ultrasound and sure enough, way up by my ribs. I told her, she's been that way this whole pregnancy. So high. She was surprised.

Fingers crossed it's a gender sign for me Stinke33- My 3 sons were never up high like that. I felt them in the normal spot down below. Heartbeat was always found easily too and inthe lower stomach. Maybe this one can float? No idea how the baby can stay up high with gravity etc. I feel all my movement with this one up around my belly button and on both sides. She heard a woosh (up higher on my stomach) finally right before we found the HB and said, that was movement.

HI Ladies. So I was tempted to ask at the dr the other day (there for my son) about gender just because I'm really starting to feel like this baby might really be a girl! I didnt give in though. Now that most of my nausea is gone, I'm having morning sickness every morning whether I eat breakfast or not. I feel fine, and walking around then I just suddenly start gagging and thats it....gotta run to the bathroom. SO weird. I never ever gagged with any of my sons. It's just SO different this time. Fingers crossed but still trying not ot get my hopes up!

Baby wise, doing really well! The rest of life has been a nightmare this week. Hoping for things to calm down next week so I can enjoy my time with ds4 home alone since his three big brothers are all at school now.

I'm still under 6lbs.
I ended up going up the hospital earlier as I only felt baby move 6 times since last night. Turns out she is just fine she was moving I just didn't feel her. Funny how we still can miss so much ever at 27 weeks

glad to hear baby is ok BR. I ordered a fetal doppler and im excited to use it.

Ive gotten sooo pudgy Sharon. I think it's maybe only 10 lbs, could be more. I'm soooo hot. Summer needs to go to hell. I'm like a moody furnace. I've got rolls and jiggle places I've never felt before. I'm the type of person people call tiny generally so not used to feeling flubby and it's only going to get worse because I have to eat all the time so I dont throw up. Fun times....I hope I dont get enormous! Almost all of my bump is flub at this point. At this point with my 3 sons i hadnt really gained any weight maybe 2-3 lbs....
