Just curious if anyone has tried the prince or princesses book by alicia Pennington. Has it had good results ? The girl diet is so hard but it said beef and lamb is ok to eat as its acidifying. Has anyone read and tried this book?

The acid-alkaline diets don't work at all and I believe eating beef is a great way to get a boy.

We have a different diet we follow on here and you can find it here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/16780-low-everything-diet-nutshell-version.html

Thank you for your reply. All the information out there is so confusing. Some people say to use the low ph diet some say low everything. I have combined both. I am also gluten free, lactose free and very liw in sugar intake. I have had red meat once a week. Would you say that may be ok? I also have chicken 2 to 3 times per week.

Are you getting enough food, though?? The LE Diet (which is my diet that I designed) is NOT meant to be cutting back as far as possible on everything. It is meant to be the lower limits of a safe pre-pregnancy diet based on recommendations from the World Health Organization.

Many people try to blend the diets. It's difficult but possible. The problem is that some people cut back so far you are in essence starving yourself and cannot get or stay pregnant.

1500-1800 cals a day, 40-50 g of protein, and 30-60 g fat a day (not counting the protein and fat in fruit and vegetables) is the LE Diet range. (A very few people drop down to 1200-1500 cals) If you are eating less than this, you are not doing LE Diet and are in fact starving yourself which is not a good way to start out a pregnancy.

The pH idea has been largely debunked and you can read about that here. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html
