From what I have read there is a bump in boy conceptions September through November. A bump in girls conceived march through May... But I know tons of people that have opposites from that. For me it has proven correct so far, I conceived one of my girls in March and one of them in April, SOOO for my boy sway I am really hoping to conceive this fall but mostly because I don't want another kiddos birthday in the winter no matter what gender! Give me a summer baby :)!

My friend got married in August a few years ago and almost the whole wedding party got pregnant at the wedding.
Bride & Groom - baby girl
Best man - baby boy
Chief bridesmaid- baby boy
Bridesmaid - boy/girl twins
There were two others as well which I think was 1 girl & 1 boy.

There were 7 babies conceived that weekend and the most of them were boys and the bride was doing LE Unknown to herself.

Sounds like that was some wedding, lol!

Interestingly, a bunch of people got pregnant at my May wedding -- 1 girl, 2 boys!

The idea that summer months sway pink has never been proven and in fact, the studies done by real scientists have shown instead that there is a peak in Sept-Nov. in the Northern Hemisphere and this is reversed for the Southern. I believe this peak starts to rise in August with likely more boys conceived that month.

I have a boy conceived in August.

Yay!! I had someone tell me if you are brave enough to sway boy in a summer month because summer sways girl, it really messed my whole night up. Actually most of my girls were conceived in the winter. So thanks guys I love this site whenever I feel down or unsure about something I come here and always leave feeling happy and excited again!

I conceive my boys in August, November, and February! Diet, type of exercise, and how many attempts you have sway far more strongly than seasons!

Is August meant to be a good month for conceiving boys? I am swaying pink and our next attempt will be next week. My ds's were conceived in June and March.

Honeybee the LE diet is going to sway much more strongly then a month of the year. Boys and girls are conceived every month. my 2 DDs were conceived the same months as your DSs in March & June one planned sway and one Unknown sway.

I really dont think it matters, I just had someone tell me that it sways pink, I had to resure myself that it was ok to do my attempt in August, Ive heard people say that Winter months sway boy, and summer months sway girl, but I conceived all 4 of my daughters in winter months, so I think your good! Good luck to you on your baby girl!!

I conceived girls March Sept and Dec. This ones July! I am pretty sure it can't be a huge sway. I am due same day as my cousin she had a boy and my nephew's birthday is late March so must have been conceived June. X

There are a couple of very well-designed studies that show a small statistical boy "bump" in the months of Sept-Nov for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere and girl "bump" in the months of Mar-May. Southern Hemisphere peaks are reversed so girl months are Sept-Nov and boys are Mar-May I believe this is a peak/trough and not "magic months" so the peaks may start to rise in the prev. month a bit. But what you have to understand is that this is a SMALL thing, great if it works out, not worth stressing over or skipping months if it doesn't, with still very close to 50-50 ANYWAY.

I got 2 boys in girl peak and one girl in boy peak monthsl

Yes, sadly, the "old school" sway gurus on some of the other sites insist that "summer = girls" because "ions", utterly ignoring the excellent studies done in 10,000 people by the researchers in Italy.

Around the equator, more girls are conceived statistically speaking anyway, so for you Desi, depending on if you are in SoCal or the North, this may not matter for you anyway.

Thank you for all your answers ladies, I am in the 2WW this month and hoping for blue. My dd2 was conceived in August, which supports the silly "old school gurus" theory, but my other 2 girls were both conceived in October, which contradicts that theory.... Just like atomic said, it's 50/50. I still liked reading about all the boy conceptions in August xx

Awe sorry you didn't see that second line, but as they say as long as AF stays away, you're still not out! I sure got my FX for you.

I am 9dpo today (hoping for blue also, as you can probably tell) I will begin testing tonight(can't wait any longer) even tho I know, it's going to be a bfn, with my last DD I got a bfn @ 11dpo am but a bfp in the pm. FX we both get out blue bundle, sooner or later... Rather sooner tho... GL Hun :luck:

any update?

I'm out for this month :( so crushed AF showed up this morning. I just dont understand why Im not getting pg this time. It used to be so easy for me. There are some things I will be changing. I will not be drinking the baking soda this time nor will I be mixing it with my pre seed or doing bsf. I will be temping faithful this time! So that I can really pin point when I will ovulate unstead of just relying on ovulation strips and CM, because I really dont have a whole lot of CM anyway. And I plan on Bding as soon as I get a positive on my Ovulation strip or when I see my temperature change. I was so stuck on bding 12 hours after because I got the Shettles method book, but I see thats just not working for me. So off to October I go, I pray October is my month it is my birthday month so maybe I will have some kind of luck. Atomic is there anything you think I should add to my sway that would help me out more? Taking one a day, fish oil, folic acid, wheat grass. Thanks everyone for your kinds words.

Oh did you do the BSF and BS + Preseed?? That has been very poor odds of conception for us so we can def. improve on that!! :) I HATED it when I was on the other site, how long it was taking the blue swayers to get pregnant doing timing and the BSF stuff. I'm talking years!!! no wonder people gave it up.

ARe you doing Guanefesin?? If not, that is something that is easy to add.

Weights???

No, I did bfs the first time in June, then this time I mixed a little with the pre seed, Ive seen so many women on IG say they where doing bsf for months and the month they stopped using it they got pregnant. The Guanefesin yes started that at AF. And yes was doing weights also, but stopped in the 2ww so I will pick that up again. And think I will just do preseed next time.
